Vow.. what a spot to see golden gate Bridge. Beautiful walking trial. We to bicycle for rent in sports basement and enjoyed the ride. Must place to visit if you are in SFO. Totally recommended place.

Great spot for photography. If you're lucky the bathrooms next to the warming hut are open (they are usually reasonably clean and cared for, at least the women's side) a few more trash cans to help with litter could be extremely useful though if they would ever consider doing so. Overall easy to navigate and wander around, even in the evening as lighting is adequate to feel comfortable doing so.

This place is great! Right at the base of the golden gate bridge, there's a beautiful grass picnic area, gated access to the beach, and very clean! Plenty of free weekday parking and then just a buck an hour on the weekend. It's my dog's favorite place on earth so mine too!

I love this place. It is amazing to go for a walk that leads you to the Golden Gate Bridge. The beach is easy accessible and clean. You have a beautiful view of the Golden Gate, Alcatraz Island, SF skylines and also the Bay Area. You have a good parking area for cars, campers. There is a cafe nearby and bathrooms. I highly suggest it.

My favorite place to go in the City. Beautiful views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. Great place to go sight seeing, walking, picnicking, biking, fishing, crabing, for a family outing or on a date. Chrissy Field is very friendly if you want to bring your companion. It is great place to have a picnic. There are public restrooms available.

Chrissy Fields was cracking’ today! Nice Bay Area breeze to compliment the warm touch of the sun accompanied with the nice view of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Whether you’re walking your dog, having that first “getting to know you” conversation of a first date… this place seems to have been a location I always go to when I visit Sunny San Francisco.

Crissy Field is one of my favourite places to visit. With the Golden Gate Bridge in background I’m sure it’s the same for many. I never miss when visiting San Francisco but this visit (June 2022) was a bit disappointing as the amenities and general maintenance of the area has went downhill since last visit in 2018. The main grass area where kids and adults alike play games and picnic is rough with very uneven surface. I went over on my ankle twice playing with my grandchildren. I don’t remember it ever being this bad before. Hoping things improve by next visit.

Free parking and a great place to start a walk to the Golden Gate Bridge. Walk on the beach or trails. Cooper highly recommends a walk here.

It is absolutely beautiful and still has the feel of an old base. Spacious and clean. Parking is ok, but you have to pay. Enjoy the grass, sand, or water! It's especially beautiful watching the different boats go by.

Beautiful and captivating. What a wonderful place to run, bike, rollerblade, skateboard, and walk. Picnic, being your dogs, gorgeous breathtaking place and views of the Golden Gate Bridge and across the bay. Kite surfers and pelicans, my brain and my heart let out a happy sigh. And then you might see a funny situation 😂

Crissy Field is one of my go-to venues in San Francisco for family photos as it provides a backdrop with the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the city. It's wonderful for kids since it the waves are relatively calm inside the bay and there are plenty of things to climb on. Highly recommend this location for family, couple, and individual profile photos.

My preferred spot in San Francisco for capturing pictures with the Golden Gate Bridge as backdrop. It’s not only a picturesque backdrop for photos but also an ideal setting for delightful picnics with loved ones.

Crissy Field is a prominent location in San Francisco, and it holds a special place in my heart. This iconic area offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. One of its notable features is the spacious beach that allows dogs to be off-leash. This makes it an ideal spot for dog owners like me to enjoy quality time with our furry friends. The freedom for dogs to run and play on the beach is a wonderful experience. Apart from being a dog-friendly paradise, Crissy Field is also a great place for outdoor activities, picnics, and leisurely strolls. The combination of natural beauty and recreational opportunities makes it a must-visit location in the Bay Area. I've had many memorable moments at Crissy Field, whether it's enjoying the breathtaking sunsets or letting my mini schnauzer have a blast on the beach. It's a gem in the heart of San Francisco and a place I hold dear.

My grandson and I had a lovely picnic here. When we were walking back to our car, I saw a few gang members... one had rainbow-dyed hair and the numbers "6" and "9" tattooed on his forehead... but it was fine; I just began to talk to him about my favourite thrift shop... surprisingly he ran away...

Great place to watch kite boarders doing their thing on windy days. Golden Gate Bridge 🌉 provides a great backdrop. Water is very cold.

Fantastic views of the Golden Gate! It wasn’t too busy and had plenty of variety. I’m a photographer and hope to come again for engagement/family/couples photos!

A nice, flat walk along the beach with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Very popular with dog owners. Swimming is at your own risk, but you and your dog can take a dip.

  • 5/5 Chiucat / A. 1 year ago on Google
How do you resist the waterfront view of the Golden Gate Bridge set against deep blue sea, a great, long beach and any number of happy dogs chasing balls, leaping into the sea, and generally looking so alive? This is a magical place on a day of mild temp, light winds and sunny warmth. Add to the seascape those white dots of sailboats, and you've got pure joy.

A short walk from the Golden Gate bridge to get a different view. Up on the park can sit, relax and enjoy a quiet the view of the Gate and the Bay.

This is such a great grassy field! Our dog loves to run around and there is usually lots of space to not be near cars or other people. Sometimes people come out and have a picnic and usually is protected from the fog

Auto-free walking/jogging paths…careful some have heavy bicycle traffic. Mid-day usually has clearer skies.

It has an amazing view to take pictures around the golden gate, its worth it, we took the bus (bought the 1 day ticket for 5 dls and move by those all day long). It was really cold because of the wind but definitely a must. There were too many people but if you move forward you can find a spot for the ideal picture.

Amazing waterfront park and walkway with an amazing view of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. There are a lot of spots for great photos of the GGB and even areas to have picnic or BBQ. There’s a nice walking and biking path along the water.

Beautiful spot when the weather is nice. Hard to stay long due to the fierce sea winds, but come prepared and you can enjoy the view for that much longer! Parking is exceptionally limited, but it's a lovely spot to bike to. That is the recommendation way to visit!

Beautiful view! Gorgeous when Sunny and amazing when fog cover the top of the bridge. The views get a 10. The facilities specially the bathrooms (porter potties) barely get a one!

Being outdoors next to the ocean and in full view of the Golden Gate Bridge make this park the perfect place to enjoy the vistas of San Francisco and also see some of its greatest landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, and Alcatraz Island.

Love it you can crab here and fish off the dock and there's a store you can visit. If you walk about 1.5 miles you can get even closer to the bridge. You do have to pay for parking its 7 bucks for the whole day or buy it by minutes. There is bathrooms also which also a plus!

  • 5/5 Alex J. 3 years ago on Google
Breathtaking views of the GG Bridge, the Bay, and Presidio, especially, at the golden sunset, much space for walking, jogging, riding alone, with a family and children. Before the CoVID-19 lock-down, the area was also popular for picnicking and festivals.
