Malai Thai Massage - Berkeley

Thai massage therapist

👍👍 I never write reviews but had to give a shoutout to Tina, who was amazing! This was my first visit to Malai Thai; I booked the Healing Package (deep tissue/therapeutic focus/hot herbal massage) to help with sore muscles and neck/shoulder tension, and I walked out feeling SO much better! So grateful... People often mention massage, Thai,

the experience was bad…we called in advance for being late for 10 minutes, but they never reminded us of the penalty. So the total 60minutes massage only lasted for 40 minutes…no reminder at all…we asked for deep tissue massage focusing on shoulder and back but one therapist only worked on head & feet, and the pressure is very small. We have been weekly customers for Arisa Thai Massage in Mountain View, but we visited this store for the first time. Will not recommend.

I got Thai massage and it was pretty good. The pressure was a bit too much for me (please note, I like a massage where I can fall asleep) so I requested my masseuse to take it down a notch and she was kind enough to do that. It's a personal preference. There is paid street parking but it can be tough at times. I used the free street parking a block behind the massage place.

The massage was pretty good, and I really appreciate that the person working on me offered to focus more on my neck and shoulders when I indicated they were sore. I went on Feb 23rd and it was super cold inside. Definitely a downside to be shivering through a massage, and the poor massager had icy hands throughout. I arrived a ten minutes early as I anticipated filling out a form, but the door was kept locked until my exact massage start time. It was cold and a strange experience on the whole.

Strange table setup for my body, personally. No face hole so cradle is high on the bed causing me torso to be lifted which was I comfortable for me. Smooshed into the face cradle hurt my jaw. Flow and delivery of massage was a bit disjointed but overall ok

I had never had a massage before and I had looked into a few options in the East Bay before settling on Malai Thai Massage. I booked a 2-hour deep tissue massage due to some back/neck tension from work and poor sleep, and I left feeling all the tension leave my body. My masseuse was attentive to the areas I highlighted on the intake form, and gave more attention to areas she found that were super tight. I will definitely be coming back soon!

I got 1 hour massage. Then I realized that the massage I received was worst massage . She is not trained well, not professional mind set, and not experienced well. She confessed she just began massage job from this month!!! Pressure is not stable, and I can't feel relax at all. I payed the tipp, but I didn't want.

The Thai massage by Sopa changed my life. Although this was my first Thai massage it will absolutely not be my last. I am so happy with the service provided at Malai Berkeley and would highly recommend them!

It was really great, a warm welcome and a very good massage, especially the parts where you have the most pain.
