Very somber place, cool to read all the plaques and understand what happened. Glad to see they display items like this and make monuments out of them. If your in the area stop by and check it out.

Ignored the 4 hour limit by like 9 hours but it was fine. The architect of the building did an outstanding job. Love the sculptures as well. Spooky but cool in the fog

Amazing Rodin collection. There is an orchestral Organ embedded in the walls, which is played once a week on the weekend. This place is worthy of hidden gem status.

Car break-ins! Protect your valuables! It all depends on the weather or how you like it. It can change from sunny to fog in minutes. If it's hot, it's fun to stand near the rocks if you are a professional, get blasted by water that hits the rock, then 20 feet in the air and rains down on you

The actual memorial spot is fine. The surrounding area is a great place for a stroll and catch up with family and friends over the weekend.

Must visit place in San Francisco. Beautiful vistas of the bay. Watch giant cruise ships, Goliathic cargo ships, sailing ships, and fishing ships. Nice place for bird watching, and during the right season, whale watching. During the summer entertain yourself to airplane shows. Take a hike on the park and amaze yourself to the bay entrance, the Golden Gate. Don’t miss it.

Beautiful views of the ocean, a nice relaxing fountain, and you're near Land's End. The Legion of Honor has great classical style architecture.

Hiding Gem! We brought our picnic basket and enjoyed ourselves listening to waves, i watched my husband played with rocks πŸ˜…! It got too crowded so we left NO social distance πŸ˜”! But the time we had we really really enjoy it !

Very nice hike with the usual cool breeze of the bay area. Nice view if San Francisco and the golden gate bridge. In some parts of the trail you can descend to the water level in unmarked trails but you need to be fit. Good for a moderate 2 hour hike

Point Lobos (a.k.a. the former Sutro Baths) has stunning views of the Cali coast, the old Sutro Baths and trees frozen in time. It's also close to the remolded Cliff House. Worth it to go just for a view.

This place has a number of features, a holocaust memorial, the legion of honor museum with great artwork, and a few reminders of the orient. Although it looks like a quiet place that is pedestrian friendly there is a surprising number of cars requiring you to navigate carefully. The crosswalks are also in places where you don't expect them to be.

Great foto point for taking pictures with the Golden Gate. War memorial, consisting of shipparts of the sunken USS San Francisco. Large free parkingspace.

Very beautiful, steep heels to get down to the beach, and lots of uphill walking and lots of stairs to get back to the parking lot but worth the workout. Found some sand dollars and crabs πŸ¦€

Nice park to walk along the rugged ocean. Was there with a group and was not able to explore in detail. Heads up, there are no bathrooms open until may 30th. Great scenery and walking trails

First Tuesday of the month is free! This is probably my most favorite museum. At least n San Francisco. Went to the pastel exhibit, beautiful. Spent about 3 hours wandering the different rooms in the general exhibits and had a very yummy lunch at the museum cafe.
