A third part advertised a hot tub. There was no hot tub. There should have been at a 5 star hotel. Especially, the Four Seasons! They even charged for water in the room.

We didn’t stay in the hotel but had the opportunity to eat at the MKT Bar. The service was excellent; the bartender was able to make conversation while also making sure everyone was attended to. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese which was delicious. You’ll need to take the elevator to get to the restaurant/bar but there should be someone downstairs to guide you in the right direction. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for table seating with a view.

Pass the Instacart test. If you have something ordered, concierge brings up to your room by default. Many hotels make you walk down. Small things like this are reason this hotel stay is perfection.

Wonderful hotel. We purchased a mid-priced room and they upgraded us to a corner suite on the top floor. Gorgeous views of the city. The MKT restaurant was incredible as well. A bit of a limited menu, but everything we had was great. Staff are very warm and friendly. We will definitely come back again.

I had to work a job at the Four Seasons in SF and I was not disappointed. The Presidential Suite was tastefully decorated, spacious and had most the amenities of being home. The customer service was above and beyond industry standards. Room Service was mercurial and fantastic. The food was terrific and I enjoyed every meal prepared for me from the soups ,salads, main courses of steak or chicken to the coffee and cookies. Thank you for all you do Four Season SF (Market St). I appreciate the effort in making my visit remarkable!

I typically don't write hotel reviews but for my recent stay here I had to share my 5 star experience. Four Seasons San Fran markets themselves as pet friendly and incredibly do not have any pet fees. On our second day at the hotel we had people check into the room next to us. It turns out they were dog haters and upon continuously slamming their door and startling the dogs every 15 minutes and having them bark once or twice each time, complained to the front desk multiple times. We got a text from the front desk that the dogs were being disruptive and bothering other guests. We were quite upset as we had our dogs under control and they were only barking once or twice every time the door slammed. Once we got the text we felt like we weren't sure what to do with the rest of our stay and even took out our newborn's white noise machine to see if that would work but that meant we were all hanging out in the room with a white noise machine blasting. Not enjoyable at all. Luckily the Front Office Manager that day, Evelyn, saw the texts and texted me back an apology for the initial texts we received and understood that we were being disrupted by our dog hating neighbours ourselves. She took the incredible next step of upgrading us to a suite on the top floor and putting us in the corner of that floor so that nobody would disrupt us for the rest of our trip. She even offered treats for our dogs. That solved all our issues that we were facing and we were able to have an amazing time for the rest of the trip. The rooms and service are top notch here. This hotel firmly showed us that they are truly a pet friendly and family friendly hotel. Without a doubt will also return to this hotel when we are in San Fran !

The bellman was terribly rude I think his name was Ken or Kenneth and when I called to schedule a massage they didn’t tell me it was Equinox I think that is false advertisement and although services were good a homeless person came and rang the fire alarm so we ended up having a horrible experience having to go down so many flights of stairs and wait outside under a robe in the rain with nothing else on. We went to have food before our flight and had to ask for straws five times and then was overcharged based on price on menu vs. receipt.

My stay was absolutely over the top and one of the best I have ever had! I would like to recognize Joel, Jessica, Vanessa, Thomas and Evelyn for starting with the heart and always ensuring I was taken care of throughout every aspect of my stay. Thank you to everyone at FS San Francisco for an incredible stay!

View + rooms are excellent, AC works well, service is great. But there's no Netflix / Hulu etc., can't cast from a Mac to the TVs (only from a phone) -- how is that a thing, every $300 Smart TV supports this? Also wifi is slower than cell service oddly. Ordering room service is done via a PDF + phone calls, quite odd in 2023, feels like the 90s. Probably leads to lower sales because you have to remember or write everything down, and then deal with a phone call. That said, the prices are great, again service was lovely, and everything non-tech related seemed wonderful, so at the end of the day I can't complain that much, just kind of surprising being in SV. Oh and the sound was 👌 Location is great and the walk-through to Equinox feature was a nice way to end the day

Great location and top service. The room is big with nice classy furniture. The bed is very comfortable. Just the lobby is kind of small with not enough food and beverage services.

Stayed here for a conference. The concierge recommended a Vietnamese restaurant called Bodega. Best culinary experience in San Francisco thus far.

We had a fantastic stay for our honeymoon! The staff was so nice, and even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! Definitely plan on coming back!!

An absolute five star experience, which I have come to love and expect from every Four Seasons property. NO resort fee (thankfully) and complimentary access to an Equinox fitness club were a bonus! Warm and welcoming, they were so kind to provide an extra fridge when needed, helped us check in early by finding a room (even though it was a step up for what we reserved), always opened doors, greeted with a smile and quietly but efficiently serviced the hotel. Beautiful decor and updated rooms were lovely. The location is close to shopping, great restaurants, public transport and attractions. It felt clean and safer than other areas of San Francisco. They made our entire visit to San Francisco elevated and comfortable. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed and held our wedding at the Four Seasons on April 1, 2023. The Four Seasons team made sure my partner and I had the most amazing stay possible. All of the staff made sure to get to know us and our families. A special shout out to Kent in the bell men department. Heather Cassidy Martin, along with our wedding planner, made sure the evening went off without any issues. All of our guests loved the space, the food, and the service. The team at the Four Seasons San Francisco are absolutely amazing at what they do. My partner and I are excited to come back next year to celebrate our 1 year anniversary at this beautiful hotel. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding look no further. Four Seasons San Francisco is the perfect place to hold your wedding or event.

Our favorite hotel in San Francisco. Great rooms, great food, great bar, great service. Alvin and Marcus at the bar are fun and hilarious. Highly recommend this place. The breakfast burger is an experience. I highly recommend it!

Nice day here it was a mixed bag of good and bad. Many of the staff were excellent. We dined at the only restaurant that was open. Service was poor. Ended up sending a steak back because of the overall taste and flavor. Went back the next morning for breakfast and waited almost 15 minutes until we finally got up and left. I spoke with the food and beverage manager which I believe his name was Corbin. Never heard back from him although he was supposed to call me back. Go figure horrible service from the manager reflects why his department failed to maintain a high. level of service. Definitely would not come back here. There's a Great Ritz Carlton close by never had an issue there before.

We went for brunch specifically. The restaurant is designed as old fashioned yet very stylish, the space overall is beautiful. However the food was not so great. The avocado toast wasn’t seasoned enough. For the price you’d expect it’ll be top, but it was very bland. It also wasn’t served on a toast but on some sort of focaccia, which didn’t go so well together. This was a bit disappointing experience.

This hotel delivered on the five star rating. Pristine in cleanliness, lovely contemporary decor, stunning bathroom, delectable food (I'm not sure how they made fries taste that good but they did), and every single staff person I encountered was friendly, kind, and great at their job. Truly though, shout out to the cleaning staff because everything was spotless. Four Seasons has set the bar extremely high. I'm currently in another supposed 5 star hotel and the difference is stark. I wish I were back at the Four Seasons!

This hotel is amazing - Service is unbelievable. Nelson (concierge) will plan your vacation - he is so knowledgeable! It is worth it to stay at the hotel just to have him help you make reservations! Billy at the from door even takes the time to help you order an Uber. Breakfast is delish - they are so accommodating! Room is immaculate!

Loved my stay. Absolutely neat and clean and fantastic service. Only issue is they don’t have much options in gluten free food but still they arranged 😊

Second time staying here and absolutely love this Four Seasons. The staff are always friendly and responsive and that Four Seasons service is just impeccable. Stayed on the 16th floor with views of Market St. The food in the bar / restaurant was delicious and the ambience of the hotel is quiet and relaxing. The gym at Equinox is top notch and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the four seasons Sf. Our trip started with Annie greeting us at the front desk with a special treat for our daughters birthday and a little stuffed animal. This instantly helped us to relax and feel at home considering we have been displaced from our home due to unforeseen construction during our daughters birthday. Annie ran back and forth to switch out our treats before we arrived in our room to make sure they were allergen friendly and double checked to make sure it was safe to eat, she was so quick and thorough which is so important when your little one has an allergy. Annie started our trip out right and set our expectations high. The rest of the staff and hotel continued to exceed our expectations with amazing room service, quick maintenance and house keeping etc. We loved it so much we decided to leave our current hotel to go back and Annie was the one on the phone to help us! Amazing experience all around!

We enjoyed another wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is wonderful and all the staff are trained to be incredibly warm, professional and helpful. The breakfasts are incredible and we were attended to most mornings by Yuri that did everything he could to please us. The concerierge Barbara got us some fantastic dinner reservations that we were so lucky to get thanks to her great abilities and knowledge. The rooms themselves are spacious and so well appointed. We were even lucky enough to get a complimentary ride in the hotel car one night to our destination in Chinatown. This hotel reminds me of some of the greatest hotels in Europe back in the day when they really treated guests like they were special. The management and Four Seasons Corporate really have a spectacular property in this location!

This is just a review of the restaurant. The drinks were inconsistent, 2 different bartenders made the same drink and came out completely different where one had to be sent back. Even the garnish was different. The food was ok. The service was ok. It was extremely overpriced for what we received. We split a handful of items including flatbread that was marginal, asparagus that was over cooked and the best thing we ordered was the chicken. They need to put a better menu together or adjust their prices because there is no perceived value there. Also, the dining room was closed because they didn't have the staff to work it on a Friday night. Disappointing for a hotel of that caliber to always seem to struggle so hard with their restaurant. I'll probably check it out again but not for a while. Hopefully they will have figured something out by then.

I just went to the lounge for a cocktail. Service was great as expected and the lounge was quite nice and had a good view even for a low floor. There wasn't much energy in the air, perhaps something some upbeat music could fix but it is a Four Seasons so it is kind of expected to be the way it was.

Good location. Nice breakfast menu. Cool gym at Equinox. Fast service. Great valet. AC was little too close to bed. I wish there was more movies to rent. And we couldn't figure out how to connect device to tv. Shower head was alright. Little disappointed. Overall, nice stay. Thanks!

I stayed at this beautiful hotel in downtown during a birthday California solo road trip in 2017 and highly enjoyed it. I was upgraded to a beautiful suite with floor to ceiling windows and a stellar view for my birthday and had welcome amenities including a handwritten note and birthday cake in the room. My package included breakfast and I had it in the hotel's restaurant one day and another chose to have room service. Location is stellar and close to high-end shopping like Dior and others so I enjoyed walking the city and shopping right from the comfort of the hotel where I did not have to move to car and look for parking - which was great bc parking downtown did not look fun! Staff were, as always, welcoming and friendly and the beds were comfy and rooms were wonderfully appointed. My suite was a haven for me, quiet and spacious with a huge bathroom and closet space. Valet parking is VERY expensive here - so if you don't need to park a car - I would avoid it.

As one would expect when staying at Four Seasons, the bed was fantastic. Room was quiet and had good light. Restaurant staff were hit or miss, but breakfast is a good value if it comes with your room rate. Equinox gym is connected to the hotel and is complimentary for hotel guests. Would stay again if visiting SF for work.
