Don’t worry about being a 3 Star hotel, as stars only describe available services- not the quality of services. This feels like a 5 star place in one of the most beautiful settings. Very cozy, very pricey ( starts at $400 during the week and $500 on WE for reg cheapest rooms- which are more like suites). Very nice daily wine and cheese hour ( for hotel guests only). They have the main lodge and a side guest house about 2 minutes away. They are also affiliated with another property within the 1500 acre presidio. If you have the $, stay here instead of an equivalent in the city! Or go across the bridge and stay at Cavallo Point- which offers even more spectacular views, has a restaurant and starts at around $650 a night. Next to the Inn here are also some dining options and they also offset a Disney Package- as the Disney family museum is around the corner. From the Inn you can also take dozens of hikes.

The Inn at Presidio is a beautiful tranquil place to stay. Adhering closely to its historical roots it provides all the amenities you could possibly need . The breakfast sets you up for the day and the cheese wine and cookies is a real treat at the end of it . All staff are so very friendly, polite and helpful nothing is too much trouble, thank you all at the Inn for making our short break so memorable, we have only left a couple of hours and we miss it already, Thank you again .

Its just beautiful calm and a loving place. The lady at the desk is a beautiful soul. Though I couldn't stay as they onyl had a suite room and i felt just for me it was a waste of money.. She was kind . She recommended other place ..and pointed me to hyatt next door. Thats what you do with lost travellers who come from the desert, you get them to a oasis. I Will come back here with my soulmate and take this suit room .till then keep spreading the warmth

Had an excellent time here. Our room had a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. We were treated to a great charcuterie and wine spread in the evening and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect for exploring San Francisco. The fire pit in the back along with the delicious cookies added to our experience.

Very spacious and clean room with priceless view of SF Bay. Wine and Cheese in the evening is very nice as is the breakfast. Within walking distance of the Disney Museum.

A very different Inn and Inn experience. Staff is helpful and the place itself is unlike anything else. You're staying inside a modest Officer's house that was renovated without disturbing history. You're also basically staying inside a federally owned and managed National Park - which vicinity to anything SF could not be better.

Strange hotel, but also quirky and great location. There is no good spot to pull in front of the inn and drop off your luggage. I finally figured out that there is a parking lot in the back. This is definitely not a handicap accessible hotel, that I could tell. I brought my suitcase through the back of the hotel and up a set of stairs where the parking lot is and in through the dining room. There is no signage to tell you where to check in, but I finally found the "front desk". The hotel staff were very nice and the Inn has a wine and cheese hour in the evening and breakfast in the morning. After checking in I had to find my room up a set of stairs and down a hallway with no signage. My colleague also checked in later in the evening and was put in another building down the street with no one showing her where to go...a bit strange. My room was cozy and the bed was comfy. Wine hour was great with a full bottle of wine and cheese, crackers, nuts and meat. Breakfast was also great. Overall good experience with some odd quirks.

When I booked our room I let the staff know it was my wife's birthday. When we arrived at our room I was touched to find a card written to her, signed by the staff, and a delicious bottle of wine. In a few minutes there was a knock at the door. A server entered with a bottle of champagne on ice, fancy chocolate, champagne flutes and another card written to her. Later friends with kids came to visit us in the room and the staff gave us a bottle of fancy lemonade for the kids, and more glasses so everyone could share the champagne and wine. In addition the bed was super comfy and the furnishings are thoughtfully chosen to compliment the historic building while still luxurious. And right outside your door are all the Presidio's fascinating historic and brand new attractions. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so special.

Very nice and clean. The staff goes above and beyond. The older gentleman that works the grave yard shift throughout the night, he gets ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! He was very professional, respectful and attentive! Thank you sir.

Wonderful stay at the Inn at the Presidio. Even during covid they manage to do an excellent job. Happy hour is setup so that you get your charcuterie and bottle of wine at your requested time. Just pick it up and take outside to the fire pit area. Breakfast now is hang the request form on the your door at night with designated arrival time and they bring it to your room. Easy parking lot close to the building. Walk to many paths, starbucks and Sessions restaurant. Just a beautiful area to stay in with beautiful view of Golden Gate bridge. Great location to get quickly into San Francisco while staying in a fantastic park atmosphere. Staff was always helpful, attentive and friendly. Will stay here again on any return trip to the area.

The best location in San Francisco if you do not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of downtown. The Presidio is preserved by the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (National Parks) so it stays exceptionally clean and tidy. The Inn is surrounded by beautiful and fragrant eucalyptus trees with access to small trails around the park. The hotel staff is prompt, extremely knowledgeable and willing to help in any situation. Rennen (sp?) at the front desk was so helpful during a late check in and made my stay so much more pleasant. The historic building along with the amenities (afternoon wine and cheese & breakfast) make this stay like no other. Come stay in a breathtaking and charming piece of San Francisco history!

Really appreciated having the option having the option to have wine and cheese hour and breakfast brought to the room. Now that covid restrictions are lessened, this experience feels less intimate having to share meals in the common space. Still a wonderful quick getaway from the city filled with history, nature, and a touch of luxury.
