The city is renting a number of rooms here for the homeless. They have several guards from Urban Alchemy to make sure the guests don't have visitors, even though the pandemic is effectively over and the city has reopened most businesses without a mask requirement. However, they're paying a staff of 4 (plus the UA markup) to make sure nobody has visitors in their rooms. That's an annualized cost of $500k or more out of our tax dollars for what benefit, exactly??? Aside from that, rooms seem okay but not great. I haven't interacted with staff much. And most guests seem to stay indoors, in their rooms.

This hotel is right downtown and easy access right off the Golden Gate Bridge. They had put us in a back corner room but accommodated our request to move up front so I could see our motorcycle in the parking lot. Nice big room with a comfortable bed. Our TV did not work for any channels and I tried a few things. We arrived later in the evening and were tired and hungry so we didn't want anyone to check. The internet is fast and we ended up just watching Netflix on our computer. The next day we were out sightseeing and forgot to tell front desk. I told the person when we checked out about the issue. We weren't there to watch TV anyway. Thank you for a great stay .

I'm so glad we booked here for our stay in San Francisco. The location was ideal with plenty of bus services around. The beds are so comfortable! The shower is good, the service was fantastic..cleaned the room every day with fresh towels and the bed made every day too. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was quite large, we were on the end unit and could hear a bit of the local hustle and bustle in the mornings, but it didn't bother us to much. The front desk staff who checked us in on Wednesday evening was very friendly and gave a us a few tips on some places to check out we wanted to thank him, however we didn't see him before we had to hit the road. Its about an hour to walk to the painted ladies, and it's close to alot of bus routes. Pricing was fair in our opinion, Cheers!

Rude desk agent. How are you going to charge $250 per night and not have complimentary toothbrushes???! First motel/hotel in my life to not offer. He said go to Walgreens. Like how about your management provide basic travel items.

Overall it’s good value considering the price of other nearby hotels but really you should only be staying here for that and the location as the rooms themselves aren’t the greatest. While the service was very helpful and nice, the rooms had thin walls to where you could hear footsteps above and stains in some areas, but it wasn’t bad enough to leave and overall it is a good deal for a night and the location

Amazing location! A bunch of good restaurants around. Our room was confortable. A little noisy since you can hear almost everything happening on the third floor. But I would go back to this place on the third floor of course! I loved thar we were close to the Palace of the Fine Arts, Crissy Field and many other beautiful places.

Great location and close to everything. Great room, just as advertised. It was recommended by a friend who heard from others that have stayed here. Staff was very helpful and had good talk with them when we arrived. There is parking on site which was a requirement for me.

Stayed at La Luna for the week. Was a really delightful stay where the rooms were spacious and lovely, the location was incredible, and the staff were brilliant. The GM and front desk team were just great people who were really helpful. Thanks Ashesh and Co!

The room was remodeled and gave it a modern luxurious look. The staff were kind, flexible, and went out of their way to ensure you were satisfied. Also, loved the location and free parking!

I liked it, the rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is nice and helpful, would definitely stay here again. The only con is that the walls are thin so you can hear everything.

The rooms were basically the landlord special on their "remodel" water pressure sucked, lighting sucked, fan sounded busted. Place was sketch but loved the area. Yummy food and coffee within walking!

Checked in here the other day, and have been loving it cents! Great clean room, super friendly staff, and fantastic location. And I met this super funny and chill worker named Nathan. That man deserves a raise, ASAP! My only and biggest complaint with the hotel is the Wi-Fi is absolutely garbage. Overall 9.8/10

location is great. a few minutes walk to the presidio of San Francisco and a few blocks away from the museum of fine arts and the golden gates bridge. check in was smooth and welcoming plenty of parking owner (mat) is a delight and upgraded us to a better room. gas station is next to property which is a plus for travelers a few minutes walk to many Italian restaurants there is an elevator as well

This place deserves more stars. I stayed 3 nights. The place is safe and clean. The staff was friendly especially Mr. Mathew. He helped us to change the room. The housekeeper clean the room everyday. This location is close to the golden bridge and zig zag road. I recommend to use the bus to go to the pier.

I love the location. It is near to bus stop and a lot of restaurants and marts. Very convenient and the room for 2 pax is really big. They did very good housekeeping everyday. We stayed for 4 nights. Only -point is they only have 1 elevator so once it down we need use staircase.

Room is ok, front desk experience is horrible. Front desk (Thursday night, Asian) won’t received delivery for you, I have to come back from the other side of the city all the way back here just to receive it. Really? You can’t even provide this basic service? Then don’t operate a hotel In this touristy city.

It was hard not to give a 2 star review, but really it wasn't SO bad, it's just that the bed is the hardest bed I have ever slept on and the street noise is so loud it feels like the Indy 500 inside your room because of the loud rumble of cars going by on Lombard. The room wasn't clean, per se, but it wasn't dirty. Cigarette burn on the toilet seat, lots of trash and dust under the beds. I wouldn't stay here again but it's nice that parking is free.
