The
negative
reviews
of
this
place
are
silly
and
off-topic,
so
I'll
go
my
part
to
try
to
rate
the
hotel
how
it
should
be
reviewed.
Check-in
experience:
After
long
flight
delays,
we
arrived
after
2am,
and
the
manager
of
the
hotel
had
taken
care
of
us
by
checking
us
in
so
that
our
reservation
didn't
get
canceled
or
have
any
other
problems.
Staff
was
so
friendly
and
helpful,
despite
the
hour.
Room
(#520):
Bigger
than
expected,
modern
feel,
super
clean,
no
complaints
other
than
I
never
understood
how
the
A/C
unit
was
supposed
to
work.
Bathroom
needed
a
fan
or
a
little
more
ventilation,
but
to
be
expected
with
an
old
building.
The
2018
renovation
could
presumably
only
do
so
much.
Service:
I
loved
the
"housekeeping
only
when
asked"
policy,
as
we
didn't
need
it,
I
appreciated
the
privacy
it
offered.
Amenities:
Free
happy
hour
drinks
in
the
lobby
were
nice,
and
was
crowded
with
a
very
fun
vibe,
though
the
wine
options
were
not
very
good.
Art
and
decor
were
so
nice
for
a
boutique
hotel
feel.
However,
I
do
think
they
need
to
turn
down
the
lobby
perfume
machine.
Neighborhood:
Perfectly
located
near
financial
district,
Union
Square,
and
Chinatown.
We
walked
everywhere
so
easily
and
always
felt
safe,
even
late
at
night.
Check-out
experience:
Simple,
but
staff
offered
a
print
or
email
receipt.
They
said
were
going
to
email
my
folio
and
didn't,
so
I
had
to
email
them
to
get
it.
