loved this hotel. location is great too. service was top notch. room was bigger than i expected. only reason i gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because they don’t quote you the actual price of the room but hide the cost of the room into a “resort fee”. this is a hotel scam that needs to stop and unfortunately the Galleria isn’t the only hotel that continues this dishonest practice. Just give us the real actual cost of the hotel and stop trying to trick your customers into thinking the price is lower than it actually is. FYI this “fee” isn’t optional but required and they try to pretend that you get all these ‘extra’ amenities. But other than that we loved this hotel.

The location was brilliant, very close to the centre - especially union square and china town. We had a small issue with our room when we arrived but the staff at Reception very quickly sorted this out for us. Joey at Reception was very friendly and helpful too. It is a little noisy if you are in a street view room, but that is to be expected when you are near a busy road. All in all it was a lovely place to stay and it didn't feel like you were in the hustle and bustle of the city when inside. Would highly recommend this place, it felt safe walking to and from in the evenings too. The security guy was also lovely (didn't manage to get his name) but he helped us to get a taxi to the airport very last minute which we appreciated!

Good place to stay, very central. The rooms are super tidy and clean, just missing any good views, often found in other comparable hotels in SF. Most rooms are facing inwards and you are looking right into the room on the other side. Not ideal, but good for a couple of nights. Besides that, the service is great, the staff is super friendly and there is a small Happy Hour every day in the lobby which brings a little friendly motion into the place.

Had a wonderful experience and two night stay at the Galleria Park Hotel. From start to check out everything was exceptional. This includes friendly staff, check-in wine, morning coffee, beautiful rooms to refillable metal water bottles and filtered water. Also great to be right above a Blue Bottle coffee!

We had a great time celebrating my pup Musik’s birthday! The staff were really friendly. The room was clean and spacious and there were tons of great things to do nearby.

Foreword: my reviews are based on overall satisfaction - I don't adjust my ratings based on COVID-19 impact/changes. There are millions of solutions to retain high levels of CX during the pandemic - if companies decide to use it as an excuse to lower their standards / remove or block amenities, that's their choice. Galleria is fine: the rooms are clean, service is knowledgeable and helpful, and the location is good. However there is nothing else: room cleaning is on request only, the gym is inaccessible (they pretend that giving access to a 24hr fitness is an amenity) and there's no food or anything else - you are absolutely left to your own devices to navigate the city scourging for food and toiletries, or even simple bottled water. I expect a lot more from hotels, and I simply do not believe that these lowered standards are a direct cause of COVID - they are a way to protect profit for shareholders.

The staff at this hotel truly went above and beyond. Each of them provided a warm welcome and were helpful and attentive to every question or request ("i'd like a sunny room"; "I left my key in my room"; etc.). The beds were also comfy, the rooms spotlessly clean and nice touch with the refillable water bottles and water stations on each floor..

My week-long sojourn at the Galleria Park Hotel in San Francisco was nothing short of extraordinary, warranting a resounding five-star review. This establishment impressed with its impeccable service from an exceptionally friendly and professional staff. Throughout our stay, the team demonstrated a keen attention to detail, ensuring that any special requests we made were promptly and efficiently addressed. This level of dedication elevated our overall experience and exemplified the true meaning of top-notch hospitality. One noteworthy highlight of the Galleria Park Hotel was the nightly sipping hour, which proved to be a delightful and unique feature. It provided an excellent opportunity for guests to mingle and network with one another, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. This social touch added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay and showcased the hotel's commitment to ensuring guests feel not just welcome, but connected. The hotel's location on Sutter Street is nothing short of exceptional. Situated right in the heart of downtown San Francisco, it afforded us unparalleled convenience. Whether we were attending meetings, exploring iconic sights, or indulging in some retail therapy, everything was within easy reach by foot or public transportation. This central location truly enhanced our experience and made our trip to the city a seamless and memorable one. In sum, the Galleria Park Hotel seamlessly melded comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality, leaving an indelible mark on our San Francisco visit. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an exceptional stay in the city. Without a doubt, it merits a five-star rating and stands as a prime example of the very best in accommodation and service

Overall it’s not a bad hotel in a good location but everything in the hotel felt claustrophobic. The lobby is small as well as the room we stayed in, even though it was a King suite. We stayed at the Clift Royal Sonesta as well and the rooms were much bigger.

Excellent customer service (thank you, Max!) and location, very nice facilities. We felt safe walking in and out at night and were close to many great attractions and restaurants.

Fantastic Hotel ! The room was clean and bright and Illy coffee was provided. Delicious white and red wine were provided in the hotel every evening. Max at the front desk was extremely helpful in recommending things to do and see. Everything is of walking distance, we didn’t need a single taxi. Would 100% recommend !

Absolutely loved my experience at Galleria Park. The rooms were very clean and well organized, and I LOVED the private park on the 3rd floor. Such a gamer changer, wish every hotel had that. Will definitely stay again.

We booked this hotel last minute for a one night stay for New Year's Eve and our experience was wonderful from start to finish. The rooms look just as good in person as they do online, the staff are super nice and friendly, the area is central to a lot of food and entertainment, and the attention to detail is fantastic. If they have it, I also recommend checking out the sipping hour for some great complimentary wine.

Booked this hotel, eight months early for a New Year’s Eve celebration. Decent size hotel for a San Francisco hotel. Upon registering we had to sign a waiver, saying they wouldn’t be more than four people in our room, and that we would not party in it. I asked the clerk if we could party in the lobby and he said no problem. We took the mezzanine tables and brought our cocktails and munchies down there with us. we were 10 people but kept our party quiet as to not create any problems for other guests. The rooms were decent, nice bed, we had a welcome split of wine and a box of chocolate. The room was very quiet. They even had a happy hour from 5 to 6 offering wine and gin martinis. Valet parking was available for $55 a night. We had a good time with friendly staff and we would definitely be back to the hotel again.

Small rooms, but nicely decorated. Didn’t really hear any noise from other rooms, but in-room heater was very noisy when it kicked in during the night. Good location. Staff incredibly friendly. Loved the Sipping Hour. Morning coffee options limited and didn’t love the blend they had.

I stayed for just under a week for work. The hotel staff were great and super friendly. The bed was also super comfortable. The negatives. The hotel and room were a bit old and dated. The aircon would randomly become really loud in the middle of the night. It was also difficult to get the room dark. There was a gap under the hotel door so light from the hallway would come in. The blinds also would not close and go down the whole way so light would also get in that way.

TOO NOISY. Very tiny room. Never come back again. And certainly, not recommending to travelers. Huge bang noise and motorbike sound every midnight though the window is tightly shut. the room is very small. We reserved a room for 2 people 3 nights. The bed is right in front of the door, literally. Once the service person open the door while I was in bed. Very scary experience. The bed is a standard double instead of queen. The only table is occupied by the coffee maker machine. And it is plugged therefore you can’t even move it to create space. The shower is tiny but workable for a 5’4 lady. But you hit your forehead whenever trying to walk into the closet. Amenities is ok but there is no space for you to put your personal items ex creams, lotions, toothbrush. The 2 stars are for the good location and service. They offer free fresh coffee in the morning and wine at 5-6pm everyday.

We had a great experience checking in however our room was right next to the ice room! we could not sleep at all. Furthermore, the ac unit was a complete mold..! there was clear sign of mold issue such as mold control devices near the bed, etc... will not visit again.

We attended the Dreamforce so stayed at Galleria Park.Location was very convenient. In terms of basic amenities we were a little disappointed. For example, they do not provide drinking water in rooms. Instead they give you 2 refillable bottles. We stayed on 2nd floor and the water fountain was on the fifth floor. Also, the rooms do not have a microwave, which is kind of a basic amenity these days. Everything else was fine. Staff is very friendly and cooperative.

After checking out and flying home, I received an email saying I had left my phone (it was my second work phone) in my room. I had no idea it was not in my bag. The housekeeping manager graciously overnighted it to me. Truly an amazing customer experience. The hotel itself is cozy, cute and the free happy hour is wonderful as well!

There are no words to express the extent of my gratitude to wonderful people in this hotel! Starting from valet parking to doorman, to concierge and everybody in between. You are amazing! Best service in a long time!

My go to hotel for me and my doggo in San Francisco. Cheers to Jessie and the front desk team plus the valet team for making each stay smooth and comfortable.

I was on a lower floor, and therefore susceptible to noise from the street. Rooms are nice, though mine used to be a smoking room, so the smell is still lingering in the background. Updated bathrooms, with great showers.

The Galleria Park Hotel hits on every level. It is small enough to feel like a boutique property with the attentive service and little details that make your stay even more enjoyable. The décor is very upscale "masculine", but my girlfriend loved it too. It is well located for dining and sightseeing, with the city's many transportation options just outside the front door. The best part is a private outdoor garden on the 3rd floor!

I ended up at this hotel by accident (long story), and cannot say enough good things about it. It is beautifully designed, welcoming, and comfortable. Free “sipping hour” at 5:00 is the perfect way to end the day. Loved the patio on 2nd floor. Would love to live there full time.
