I really liked the interior of the room. It was freshly renovated, the room was kind of luxurious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The outside of the Inn is not renovated, but it looks totally fine. The district was calm and quite close to a few supermarkets and liquor shops. The Inn is quite close to a noisy street, so it's worth bringing earplugs with you. The hotel has a lot of bad reviews from times before the renovation, so don't look too far for checking the reviews. Check those that are recent. When we were leaving we also saw brand new doors ready to replace the old ones in the room. They are really making a huge effort to make this place amazing, so don't hesitate, book the stay there and help them raise the rating :)

We stayed for 6 nights. The room was newly renovated & linens are really clean & fresh. There were 3 pillows in each queen sized bed, we asked for 2 more pillows & they provided them right away. We also have fresh sets of towels in the bathroom every day. Even the location is in the town proper & walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, it’s still quiet at night. It is also close to a lot of restaurants & pharmacies. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The wifi connection was good too! The only disadvantage in the room is that no closet & no hooks or bars to hang clothes. Maybe they should also add more hooks in the bathroom. The elevator was kind of old with carpeted walls which I find it weird, otherwise it functions well. My overall stay with my family was awesome for a low cost hotel. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who is looking a great stay but want to save some money as well!

The hotel is good, well-located; you can walk to various interesting places. We were very well attended by the receptionist, who is very kind and friendly. The room was super clean, and the bathroom was completely renovated. It seems like they are still renovating the hotel. From the outside, it may be intimidating, but upon entering the room, we realized it's undergoing renovations, and the rooms are great.

the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind! she helped us with parking when we had an extra car and tried her best to get us an early check in. The room we stayed in had two king beds and was very spacious. The only issues we had was that one of the beds sounded like it needed a new bed frame, it was metal and soooo loud anytime you even touched the bed. overall it was a good place and staff was amazing.

Stayed here for the location and free parking on a Saturday night for a show. Definitely looked pretty shady from the outside but the rooms were clean and renovated and nothing sketchy happened during our stay. Loved being able to walk everywhere. One small complaint: Upstairs neighbor was walking around the whole night and we could hear it. Walls being pretty thin and outside needing to be remodeled are the only downsides! I would stay again.

WARNING, WARNING! DO NOT STAY HERE! The star rating is a lie, the rooms do not look like the pictures. Total bait and switch. We checked in and checked out 10 minutes later and they would not refund our payment. Pay an extra $25 and stay somewhere else. Couldn't rate lower than a 1. Better off sleeping in your car.

BE WARE OF CAR WINDOW BRAKINGS HAPPENING CONSISTENTLY AT THIS HOTEL: Would not recommend this hotel at any cost especially for families though staff is good and helpful. Main complaints are: 1. I got wet floor as they did full carpet wash without drying it. When called them and complained, they offered me diff floor but its too late for me to sleep. No compensation there. 2. My car window broken and 2 luggages were missed: I parked my car in the basement garrage and saw broken car glass pieces in two parking spots, so i parked opposite to them. I forgot to staff on that as i arrived late night to checkin, staff has not alerted me about the burglary happened there. Then next day when i checkout and came to car, both my car and car next to me got broken windows and both of our lugguages are gone. Seems like its happening everyday in this hotel and staff is aware of it but not alerting customers atleast to take out lugguages from the car or make sure not visible to outsiders. Some people around there told me that hotel might be doing it with some people. I filed police report online and left.

Arrived at 1530 and the room wasn't quite ready. But the hostess apologised for this and it didn't cause us too much inconvenience. We were shown where not to go in San Francisco by the host! And given directions on how to get to the pier for our Alcatraz tour. The hotel itself has been renovated and the rooms are clean and new. It is a noisy location with pissing traffic and other guests coming and going. For a one night stay I'd happily recommend this place. Plus free parking which is a bonus in this city.

The location was very good for exploring the area. We were able to walk to the Golden Gate bridge and Fishermans Wharf. Unfortunately it was soooo noisy outside that we struggled to sleep. Zero complaints about the room. Spacious and clean. Fridge in the room which was handy. Staff on check in and out were friendly.

We randomly picked this place because of location and free parking which is huge in SF. We were more than pleased with the clean renovated rooms! The service was also excellent! Walking distance to major attractions and very safe high end area . We will come here again for sure. Great value in the heart of the City

I like the hotel that I'm in the room is perfect you get a shower you get a refrigerator you got a microwave and a coffee pot they got condiments like the shampoo and soap so all in all all I needed was a place to stay as I go and adventure out in San Francisco really like the accommodations.

Where do I start? Free parking is there but very limited. Almost the first thing told when checking in was how the cars are frequently broken into. We enter our room and the smell is barely breathable it was just terrible. We walked a couple blocks down the road and purchased some air cleaner/freshener. It barely made any difference. We later found a couple of smoked cigarettes in our room. At around 10pm car alarms in the parking lot started going off. A combination of our throats starting to hurt and not wanting to wake up to broken car windows We decided it was best to just count our loses and move on from this hotel

Hotel was overall okay, nothing notable. I’m rating it 3/5 because of the parking situation. I’m very understandable that parking in San Francisco is a nightmare — and I’m thankful their parking is free — but their parking leaves much to be desired. Their spots are tight, the garage is difficult to maneuver with very little space, and worst of all, the ramp to get down to the garage scrapes the bottom of your car both at the top and bottom of the ramp.

I have stayed here twice in the past three years. The first time was excellent, this last time was a disappointment. Pros: location is ideal for where we wanted to be in the city, free parking, friendly staff, reasonable rates and ease of finding the hotel. Cons this trip: Our room this time smelled HEAVILY of smoke and cleaner. When we arrived the windows were even open and the smell was overwhelming. We were only in the city for one night and so decided to just live with it. However, the linens were insufficient (one thin blanket w/a sheet on either side) and we woke up freezing in the middle of the night. The heater had decided to stop and the room was cold. It came back on, but we both lost some sleep for the evening. Bathtub in our room had a soft spot in the middle so when showering it felt like you were going to break through it. We will try the hotel again, but make sure to request a different room.

Decent location, rooms were old (advertises new rooms) but clean. WiFi was worse than dial-up unless you are in reception. (Advertises high speed WiFi) Carpark scrapes the bottom of normal cars as you exit from the underground section.

Cheap. Good location and friendly staff. Rooms are old and outdated and very worn but was totally fine for the price. Had a slightly smoke smell at first but went away after a bit. Water in the shower was actually extremely hot the whole time we we're there and that was great for a family of 3! Bed was comfy as well.

THIS PLACE WILL TRY SCAMMING YOU BY CHARGING YOUR CARD TWICE!!! CHECK YOUR CC STATEMENT! When I called, they had a premeditated excuse that “hotels.com or Hotwire is at fault, they are aware and will refund you”… this is completely false. Also room was trash and place is filthy.

Nice personnel, however, roomed smelled like cigarettes and was not thoroughly cleaned. There were chips on the floor and hair on the bed. Very seedy and seemed like homeless shelter. Never wanted to get out so fast

Stayed here due to location. The staff were very friendly, but this place is sketchy. Room smelled musty and of old Cigarettes and was like stepping back into the 80's. I would not recommend for families with kids. I also wouldn't recommend parking in the basement garage. There were people hanging out on all levels making noise, but thankfully I brought ear plugs.

I went to visit a friend staying there and his room was filthy. This is NOT the hotel’s fault. This friend of mine as it turns out is a slob. The large and quite spacious room and bathroom looked nice once I looked past my friend’s clutter.

Housekeeping is only avail until 4pm, so getting extra pillows or towels is not avail if you dont check in after 5. People were peeling out in parking lot causing everyone to come out of their rooms to yell and curse at them. Door not well insulated so you hear everything outside. Not kid friendly! Room above us had people in and out until 2am when we had to call front desk to keep it down. Guests decided to drop stuff outside our room and yell into our door in middle of night. Very dissatisfied with this place.

The room smelled like mildew. Probably from the wet, filthy carpet. Almost like a 6 foot puddle of water by the bathroom door. Mold on bathroom ceiling with peeling paint. Wallpaper peeling. In a sketchy area of the city. Reserved a room for 4 people but only had 2 towels. Was told they didn't have any more towels when we asked for them. Would NOT stay there. Worse place I've ever stayed.

Apart from its location, i do not reccommend staying at this inn. Our only toilet did not work the first night and a half. They gave us a plunger which did not solve the problem and we had to use their basement toilet instead. The room also had a strong smell. Not child friendly.
