I have been a loyal Cow Hollow Inn guest for over 15 years. I come to SF several times a year and this is where I stay every time. Location is amazing. If you’re Hungry there are at least 25 or more restaurants within walking distance. Want fine dining, you can walk to several places, a few are just outside your door. Want a drink with friends? Multiple locations to check out just around the corner. Every room has a decent view. I know this because I’ve stayed in several. Rooms are clean and have all your basic needs. There’s on sight parking. This is a huge plus. Rates are reasonable and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend this location when traveling through this beautiful city. I’ve used Expedia but found contacting the hotel directly is best. Happy Travels!

Cow Hollow is a very nice hotel! The environment is very good. There are many restaurants around, and it is very convenient to eat and live! The room was very clean and tidy. The staff at the front desk are very warm and friendly 👍 The manager is very happy to help guests solve problems. From the window, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge and the historic Palace of Culture and Arts! The price is relatively cheap and affordable. Will come again next time, and will introduce more friends to stay in this hotel!

We were originally supposed to stay at the Hilton, but we had a family emergency come up and needed to change the dates of our stay. Customer service was a nightmare with the Hilton, and we couldn't get a refund for our room so we took the loss and decided to try Cow Hallow Inn. I am so happy we did! The customer service here was way beyond my expectations, the rooms were nice, the location was wonderful, and my family left wanting to plan another trip down. Thank you so much for everything! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

I was hesitant at first when getting a room here but from the moment I first got here, I really enjoyed the experience here! The room is a bit outdated but the bed is comfortable and it’s situated in a great location to visit this beautiful city on the Bay! I highly recommend staying here as the garage is great to park your car and feel comfortable knowing that it’s in a secure garage! It’s really great!

I highly recommend staying at Cow Hollow Inn, regardless of the length of your visit to San Francisco. Every time I travel there now, I stay here without hesitation. It is truly the best in terms of location, safety, prices, availability, professionalism of staff, cleanliness, and overall comfort. The rooms are spacious and have beautiful views. Other guests are also friendly and respectful, and I have never dealt with a noise issue while staying here. Whether you decide to walk or drive, Cow Hollow Inn is within very close range of grocery stores, affordable dining, drugstores, a 24-hour laundromat (don't forget to bring quarters with you!), and other shops/services. Mel's Diner is also directly across the street, which is super convenient and cozy no matter what time of day.

LOVED this hotel and its location!! My husband and I were able to walk to nearby restaurants and bars. There was a Walgreens close by and a bookstore; we even walked to and across the Golden Gate Bridge from the hotel. Free parking, very nice room, comfortable bed and accommodating staff. Couldn't ask for more for this price and location.

The hotel was really nice I perfect location. Close to the restaurants and shopping. Also in close approximate ro the marina. There was enough parking in the hotels under ground parking. We came for the Escape from The Alcatraz race so the hotel was full. We got the room with outside window, nice king bed and large bathroom. They cleaned the room every day, which does not happen everywhere after the Covid world. We hope to stay there again in the future.

The hotel was mediocre and the manager was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. ,We expected two double beds, as stated but instead got smaller beds that do not fit two grown adults. After hours of arguing, we got 1 additional small single bed to sleep on. Also, there was a lot of noise from the street outside and the windows weren’t noise-proof at all. We came for 4 nights but weren’t comfortable at all. Will most definitely not come back.

Nice hotel in a pretty good location, not too far from the golden gate bridge. Rooms were a little bit old but pretty big. Staff were friendly and you have free parking for hotel guests.

2 weeks before we stayed at another hotel in the same street. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the tourist attractions. It's also a great place to go out. There are a lot of bars and restaurants at walking distance. However, our room missed the tv remote (we couldn't find it)

Pros: The location is AMAZING! The area felt safe and was surrounded by great restaurants. It was even a fairly easy walk away from Fisherman’s Wharf. Easy 5 stars for location. Cons: The rooms were average at best and the management was below average. 1) Our flight was delayed and we arrived in San Francisco later than expected. We called the hotel beforehand and they assured us it was no problem and that someone would be there to let us in. When we got there (hard to find because there was no clear signage - it may have been covered by construction that was being done on the side of the building), the door to the lobby was locked and we didn’t see anyone. After knocking and calling several times, someone finally checked us in but they had clearly just woken up and were annoyed which would’ve been understandable had we not called and confirmed our late arrival would be accommodated. 2) On our last day we went to breakfast and when we got back, the cleaning service was in the room. They only spoke Spanish and I was able to explain that we needed to finish packing so we could leave and they left. However, they had already cleaned the bathroom which we all needed to use once before we left which meant they would have to clean it again. Management needs to do better so that their staff knows what rooms are checking out each day so that the staff and the hotel guests don’t end up in an awkward situation like we did. Summary: If you don’t mind potentially awkward situations with staff and a lackluster room, then this stay is worth it because of the location. Highly recommend Home Plate and Mel’s Drive-In if you do choose to stay here!

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the bay. You can walk to Fisherman's Wharf along the bay in about 30 min. There is a bus station around the corner. It is in a safe neighborhood. The rooms are very nicely furnished and super clean. Another plus is parking in a parking garage. The only slightly negative is the very simplel lobby.

The rooms were clean but very dated. The hotel could definitely use a makeover, but its outdated decor was not a deal breaker for me. The staff was nice. For the price it served the purpose we needed.

Nice room, good size, and clean. But they could upgrade the old ugly bed blanket. Stingy with the soap, no body wash. No readily made coffee, and the one in the room was last century's low quality pods. The location is ok, but very noisy - we could not get a decent night sleep, not a single night. Goes without saying we wouldn't use this hotel again.

Parking is great. Rooms and prices are great. My only complaint is with the grey pillows on the bed. They smell like BO (body odor). Y’all need to wash them!! Had to throw then on the floor because the stench was that strong

My family has been coming here for years. Any time we need to stay in the city we go to Cow Hollow! Located close to transit and walkable to a ton of fun destinations, the location couldn't be better. Can't beat the price, and the secure parking garage makes a trip to San Francisco feel safe and clean.

It had been several years since I stayed here. Its selling point for me has always been its location, parking and the rooms were clean. I recently stayed here with a group of friends who were visiting from the UK and various places around the US. What a disapointment. I understand how rough the last few years have been for the tourism and hospitality industry but the rooms were bad. The hallways and rooms smell, the carpet needs to be cleaned at the very least, replaced would be best. The heat /air conditioning unit in one of the rooms was broken. Wallpaper peeling off in big strips around the windows. You could see where the walls needed to be wiped down, there were splashes, spills and dribbles on the walls in multiple places throughout the rooms. Corners and baseboards were dirty. The only positive was they allowed us to keep out vehicles parked on site until 2pm, after our 11am checkout time. We won't be back though unless there are improvements with this location.

No refrigerator. A/C doesn't work well. Parking was very iffy. We were in an oversized van due to the size of our group, left to go on a tour and came back to no parking on ground level was rudely told by front desk clerk to go to lower level but our vehicle was too tall to fit. Luckily came back to find an empty space on ground level. The west elevator doesn't always work and when it does it's very slow. Found front desk people to very rude and not well trained. Very noisy from street traffic. Would not recommend this place.

Great service in the front. You pay for what you get. It's not expensive but not cheap. Very nice rooms. It's also near chestnut with everything on that street i need. Cool place, I stayed at the sister property Coventry. I will try the Chelsea next they have multiple properties pretty cool Call in , I booked my room through expedia thinking I was going through cow hollow, very misleading for expedia to do that. So just call the hotel and book over the phone I will do that from now on. Sometimes the price are less than the other websites

I arrived at this hotel at night and was feeling overwhelmed and scared after navigating the city at night. The next day, and subsequent days, I enjoyed the safe and accessible amenities of this neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place to stay, central, but without the hustle of Union square or Fisherman’s wharf. We had a surprise view from our room and the beds were WONDERFUL. 🥰
