Long-time member and am planning to drop it. Recently got to know some of the people who run the place and had a very poor experience. The building is beautiful and I always wanted it to be great, but in the end it's a facade that is extremely mediocre beneath the surface. Such a shame because it has so much potential.

At $800 a night, I was hoping for something spectacular. Unfortunately, The Battery was mediocre. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. But was very disappointed that we weren’t greeted at the entrance and offered to take our bags on the way in nor on the way out. We weren’t told anything about what was what and what was available to us. In the rooms there are plugs that were on the forefront of technology in the 90’s. Not that we were there to watch TV but the television was not a smart television as one would expect for that price. No movies or series to catch up on. And the towels were old and rough. There were delicious chocolate chip cookies though.

Horrible place. Old man manager at front (Frank?) useless and lazy. Director of membership, Thomas Kennedy, incompetent and downright idiotic. Most members, low class. No taste. A waste.

The Battery is a great social club. I find it to be best during the day time. Where we can do some work with the club getting to be too noisy. Food service for brunch is excellent. The selection of spirits and wines is second to none. Great outdoor space for covid . The only thing I would change about this club is it's policy on no talking on cell phones. Whilst I understand the thinking behind the policy. Changing it would attract a more professional clientele

Even though at this place also I went there to to drop a customer , I got a chance to be invited inside, I've been in that place so many times to drop a client but I never thought that is so magnificent.you have to be a member for most of the accommodation but if you have some even that you want to host that is the place . Before I thought it is was a small bar but I have a chance to go inside a week ago the only explanation that I have for this place is "A cruise ship parked in the middle of the most beautiful city on earth.

I'm fortunate enough to have a friend who is a member here and have been his guest several times. It is always a very pleasant experience - like being at your own boutique hotel lounge with the perfect level of service, attentive yet not obsequious. The decor, layout, and variety of spaces they have is awesome. The drinks have always been good and their menu of bar bites has provided tasty accompaniments.

Boo! Sadly I felt it wasn't in my best interest to visit this club anymore due to the general manager. I would avoid Frank at all costs. If you can avoid that man and some of the other management team, you will enjoy this location.

Well this turned out to be a over the top event, dinner wonderful, Club many levels, rooms, great evening, want to come back

I enjoyed the meal and fellowship with friends. The servers were excellent. The problem is it didn't feel inclusive. The music didn't promote a swanky lounge vibe. It was more childlike. At the very least, create neosoul playlists which offer more variety. The "hosts" didn't appear interested in ensuring a positive guest experience.

We had a great meal. Highly recommend the filet mignon. The atmosphere was excellent and the bars were epic. If you get an invitation to this place accept it!

Highly recommend the newly remodeled Parlor room for receptions. The penthouse is incredible for all-day team meeting and investor presentations with catered lunches.

Boy would I post all the pictures if you were allowed to even take them in there! Because everything in there is pretty beautiful and design so perfectly! They took a space that was really wide open and manage to make every nook and corner private and intimate and special!

Most things went smoothly. Simple request to help me with freezing a small ice pack to keep my medicine cold on my travel was unhelpfully flatly refused. It’s the small things that matter when you pay so damn much for a hotel

Fantastic location for large gatherings with indoor and outdoor accessibility; outdoor patio is very spacious with beautiful views of the city's skyline; staff were very accommodating and wonderful.
