What a lovely little wine bar. It’s only a block away from Hayes. They have a nice selection of wine. There is seating up front at the parklet and in the back. The pistachio and feta appetizer is soooooo good. I would come back to buy that if they sold it! We also ordered a meat and cheese plate which is more meat and 1 cheese. I thought that it would have more cheese options. They also sell food sundries inside. Will have to come back and check it out. I have my eye on the truffle sea salt.

EXCELLENT times are awaiting you at Birba. Featuring 2 patios, an intimate interior, and a personable staff, this is a cute rest stop to sip and people watch, catch up, or get to know a new cutie! Food menu looks complementary to their beverage list. Shout out to Abby and Shannon, thank you for the smiles and Lambrusco!

Not the worst place in the world, atmosphere is good, however, for a wine bar the options are very limited outside of buying over priced bottles. Food menu is also overpriced, haven't tried and won't, but maybe it is worth it. Save yourself the time and buy a bottle at the store and go to a park.

Super friendly staff, amazing relaxing back patio, and they were having a delicious pop-up for food. Such a gem!

They didn't allow me to sit unless my friend didn't come. As my friend was quite late, I was just staying outside in the rain although the place wasn't busy at all. But they asked if I wanted to order a drink while waiting. Nah thanks

My wife found this place while we were wandering around Hayes Valley looking for a happy hour. Really fun, interesting menu with delicious vegetarian options. Selection of wine is outstanding and I loved the canned beer. The back patio is the place to be.

The patio is confortable and cute. The drinks and food were great. I would happily go back for more. They also sell wine bottles and imported Italian snacks.

Love love love. Funky wines, small plates, nice little garden spot. What's not to like.

Delicious varieties of wine and excellent appetizers. I visited Birba for an event and then as very happy with the atmosphere, selection and their outdoor patio was absolutely lovely!

This place has an adorable patio in the back. It’s shielded from the wind, which, in SF, is a non-trivial matter. I thought the wine selection was quirky and delectable. I went with an oenophile — and he confirmed their wines were quite fine. The pistachio feta dip plate was fun. At $11, I’d happily recommend it.

Love the backyard oasis , the kind service and the interesting wine varietals served at Birba. The menu is simple and though I didn't eat anything (this time) the deviled eggs looked AMAZING! The parklet out front has a number of well spaced tables and if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a glass of wine without the noise and busyness on Hayes Street this is a great option!

Beautiful intimate patio with a stellar selection of vermouths, small producers, and Iberian tinned fishes. Excellent service. We love it here.

The outdoor patio had some of the most relaxing and beautiful ambiance we've experienced in the city. The staff were warm and friendly and the food and wine was delicious. They are dog friendly and had a great space for our dog to relax.

I got a table outside, which didn’t have a feeling of privacy. The whole wine bar scene is pretty reliant on the ambiance. Little pricey compared to some others wine bars

Such a nice place to grab a drink and a few snacks with friends. The patio is cozy and comfortable with a lot of plants and some art. I love that they have hooks on the wall to hang your coat. Super close to the Symphony, NCTC etc
