I love the Habanero Mango hot Dip here. I came here for dinner with 3 of my friends. The Papaya Margherita with Habanero is best !! For appetizers, we called for Guacamole with chips. For the main course, we ordered Vegetarian Burrito that came with chips and salsa on the side. Overall the food was above average. The place has really good setup with sofas on a few tables. We had a really good time.

We came by for outdoor dining today and had a great experience at Azucar! My husband and I ordered a couple tacos each and I added the extra beans and rice. All of the tacos were very good, flavorful with a hint of spice that builds until suddenly you realize your nose is running. In other words, they were perfectly seasoned. The tortillas were homemade and excellent. The mezcal margaritas were also delicious, made with fresh lime juice. The parklet is a very pleasant patio experience, especially in the perfect weather we had today. We really enjoyed our visit!

Lounge vibe is really nice. Staff is super friendly and attentive without being too invasive. The food is decent. I would go back for super chill scene, and the drinks. The tender really knows how to slang some dranks! I left with a full belly and a nice buzz.

A pretty legit burrito that’s not from the mission, who would’ve thought? Pleasantly surprised how well this burrito was crafted. The ratio of ingredients was on point and well placed. Everything was cooked perfectly NO under cooked rice or over cooked meat on this bad boy. I got the Al pastor which is my favorite and it had a wonderful flavor to it. You could tell it had been marinating for hours in all its authentic spices and sauces. Twas glorious. All in all it was pretty good and definitely worth another reorder.

This place was GREAT!! The chicharrones were absolutely fantastic, and the taco plate was amazing. As was the rainbow brite margarita. The whole environment is a cool place. Definitely recommend for a fun, small plate Mexican place

A wonderful place and the atmosphere is amazing. The happy hour specials were terrific as a light snack and a drink. Very reasonably priced.

The best Mexican food presentation and delicious in the city and maybe in California. Not your typical chips and salsa. Yummy! I got the quesadilla with chorizo and habanero salsa

A little pricy but great atmosphere and staff. They make a killer mescal margarita. Great spot for a drink and a few nibblies with the crew after work. Chill couch seating.

One of my favorite spots in SOMA. I love that there are so many vegetarian options for burritos and tacos. I personally love the cauliflower and chickpea. Plus the quesadillas and sauce they come with are amazing. Love this place and will not stop coming back.

One of the best places to relax and enjoy some good drinks and food. The Mexican food is amazing also! I had the pozole & café de hoya with a mezcal flight.

Really cool space and good tiki drinks. Only downside is the service; feels like they are always rushing you. They made us pay extra for take home metal straws but cleared our drinks so fast after we paid we couldn't take them home and they didn't give us the credit.

At this particular event, there was a flip book photo booth and a henna tattoo artist, so apparently they allow outside vendors there. There was a little hiccup with the coat check, where I was given someone else's very nice leather coat, but I quickly pointed out the error and it was fixed. Overall, an impressive venue. Highly recommended for swanky corporate functions.

Very happy with dinner here on 10/13/21... we had the ceviche which was very good. I had the regular burrito with Tinga de pollo and it was excellent. In fact one of the best burritosI've had in quite some time. The ingredients were perfection. My partner had the carnitas and carne asada tacos and they too were excellent. We had the frozen apricot and vanilla margarita and the classic margaritas. They were all tasty and hit the spot. Service and everything overall was wonderful. I'm sorry I didn't make it back a second time before I departed town. No doubt I will return though. Highly recommended!

TERRIBLE. I found this place online, reviewed a menu posted and decided to give them a visit. When I arrived, the girl at the window had a very bad attitude. I ordered what I had in mind from earlier research, she informed me that none of that existed anymore. I asked her why the online menu wasn’t updated, she argued that it was updated. I questioned how did I get the information that I had before I arrived? She said she didn’t know, but also she didn’t care. I will never support this business. I left and went to a different restaurant in the area.

What a win! Just happened to pull off the highway driving through San Francisco and found this cute spot. Great food. Lots of beautiful plants. Lots of tequila and mezcal. Wish i could eat there again right now. #kentuckyhotwine

This place is my favorite restaurant in SF! Great Mexican restaurant with great food and experience each and every time I come here. They have a large selection of tequilas and other drinks including beers. This local, independent restaurant is awesome! Gracias!

Staff was SO nice and patient. Beer selection was ok, but the food was really tasty and good happy hour specials even on the weekends. Would definitely go back!

We came here two nights in a row and it was great. Fun atmosphere but also chill and good for a conversation. Bartenders are really great and friendly. We started to talking to a bartender about an upcoming trip and he gave us a recommendation..and even spent some time finding it for us on yelp and everything! Also the margaritas are great, and churros and yummy too.

I'm so happy I remembered to review.. However, I'm so happy I moved across the street from this place.. I had an Uber eats coupon a few weeks back so I decided to try this place. EXCELLENT! *I was greeted immediately as I walked in. *Food was ready and waiting for me. *The meal was nothing short of delicious. I will eat here consistently!

I randomly wandered into this place looking for a quick drink and a bite, and I’m so glad that I did. Upon walking in I was amicably greeted and promptly seated, which made me feel very welcome from the start. I sat at the bar and Erik made me a refreshing mezcal cocktail, which was so tasty that I ended up ordering another when I only planned on having one, and was very friendly and conversational. The restaurant had a steady flow of people coming and going while I was there, and it was impressive to watch how attentive to detail Erik is and how well he multitasks to make sure everyone is taken care of while keeping a good attitude. The food was also excellent, especially the nopal fries and the spicy peanuts. Great job!

A cozy and hip lounge perfect for having a few drinks with friends or a nice meal. Friendly staff and amazing drinks. It was the best Agua Fresca I have ever had, using agave syrup really brought it up a notch. The food was excellent, flavorful, without being heavy and was complemented by the Sangria's refreshing flavor. We need more places like this in the world!

Plentiful Vegetarian & vegan options and great cocktails. The vegan tacos were tasty and imaginative. Even though they were very busy, we had out food within 15 minutes.

A nice mexican restaurant just off Folsom Street. Queer friendly with good tacos and a selection of burritos. The taco menu was quite short but the food was tasty. The place is quite stylish and transpires the Mexican vibe.

Absolutely fantastic. Waitress was incredibly kind and funny. Food triggered a huge nostalgia bomb for me, and I had to restrict myself from eating more than two plates of tacos. Definitely coming again! Edit: forgot to add: cocktails were also great.

Best tortilla bowl Mexican salad around! Consistently delicious. Also love their tamale plate. Drinks are great too and the atmosphere is cosy and festive. I need to check out their Mezcal bar next time I'm in.

We went around 330pm, we had margaritas and chips. My friend ordered a quesadilla and seemed to enjoy it the service was nice. We didn't realize there was a mandatory tip though. That being said we had fun just sitting on the couches and chatting for a good hour. The waitress was very nice. There was one "not so appealing" issue that prevented them from getting a better rating in my opinion. Someone carried out a bag of garbage that was leaking something fierce. The liquid got all over the floor. I didn't see anyone try to clean it up and the place really didn't seem busy enough to ignore it but it was ignored. As far as soma bars go it's not bad. Don't forget to follow my account for more great ideas on an eventful day in the bay area!

I had my wife 40th birthday party here and it was the best. They catered to my party every need. The dinner was 7pm to 9pm. Then club jumped off at 10pm and they still attended to my party needs. Richard is the manager and he made sure we was happy. Seth was our waiter and he handled 15 to 20 people with no problem. The bartender Kyle was the man. I recommend if you want to have a good time visit this place. LIL EASY. Great Great atmosphere. Oh yea and the food was GREAT!!!!!

I'm giving this place 5 stars because there is no option for ten. I love this gem of a restaurant in the midst of all the craziness that comes with downtown l.a.The food: Omg yes please! Swamp fries, dirty bird (fried chicken) po boys on point. The mac and cheese is to die for.!! F the diets because it's authentic NOLA cuisine

Came here on a Monday night as we heard of happy hour daily until 8pm. Very cool spot with one low key bar in the front and then a much larger area in the back which exudes a friday-night-open-mic kinda vibe, with a small stage, some old school hip hop playing in the background and a mesmerizing fountain in the middle.

I go out every weekend yet I had never been to this bar. Last night my friends decided that it would be a good idea for me to see this bar, so I agreed, and I don't regret it at all. Surprisingly it lived up to the hype its had for all of these years. I didn't want to go because I thought people were inflating this bar's ambiance and character. I loved this bar- it is the epitome of what a bar should represent on Sunset Blvd. It's hip/sexy/sheikh and has great music. The cocktails are strong and the bartenders are nice.

Great food from start to finish (desert was awesome). The food is creative, unique. Very solid service. Cool place, cool vibe. It's a little more expensive than a lot of restaurants in the City but you get a lot. Great for a business meal or a social meal. Plenty of interesting cocktails (also creative) on the menu.

The place ebbs and flows with people and then, at 10:47pm, they disappear like fog, if we had fog. Nice whiskey listing. I have yet to example the food.

Good drinks decent food. If you are hungry go to a restaurant, but if you want a bar that serves food, this is above average in that respect.

  • 5/5 Jennifer H. 5 years ago on Google
$12 Unlimited tacos on Tuesday. You get to choose between beef or vegetable tacos. The beef tacos we're pretty delicious! We got their at around 3pm on Tuesday without a reservation and was seated right away because no one was off work yet. We for the unlimited tacos deal, margaritas and chips and guac. I didn't really enjoy the guac, I thought it was bland but the boyfriend thought it was good. I would go back for the taco Tuesday deal and skip the chips and guac. (edited post because we arrived at 3pm rather than 4pm, per my receipt)

All you can eat (AYCE) tacos on Taco Tuesday. Really good tacos. Beef or squash so vegetarians can still take part!

  • 2/5 GilgameshEthics 4 years ago on Google
Advertises sales aggressively, but seriously under stock items that are being put on sale so that patrons aren't able to actually use the sales that they advertised to get you in the door. Although not technically false advertising, it felt a bit dirty. The fact that the owner blamed it on a non-existent law instead of owning up to his mistake really compounded the issue. They let one of my favorite bands play music there, so I will give them that. But beware that drink special advertisements are NOT what they seem.

Amazing service and food! I didn't catch the guy's name but the guy who was hosting us (with a long beard) was SUPER sweet. You don't come across as good customer service anymore but his guy was the best! Besides the delicious food and drink I would go back just for him. Keep the good vibes vibing.

We went here for some drinks. It was pretty empty, but it looks great and clean inside, the bathrooms are nice, and the waiter was also very friendly. They had a late night happy hour menu and the margarita on it was delicious. There's no late night food, so I'll have to go back for dinner sometime. I'm eager to try their queso 😋

We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday at Azucar, and since the beginning of booking the place to the day of the event I had no stress at all. Jon, the owner, was so wonderful! He made all the process so easy and worked with me on the budget and details with excellent suggestions. The day of the event, the staff was so attentive and friendly. The drinks and food were delicious! I would definitely recommend Azucar in a heart bit for any occasion and events!
