Great place to have a drink. The atmosphere is relaxed and amazing. If you ask for a Spicy Margarita be prepared to die. I was offered a taste unknown to me that death was close. Let me say the song Take my breathe away was real after 1 sip. I attached a picture into evidence and I wasn't the only victim. Those are not tears of joy. There is a patio outside along with a Beer Garden with a view of Pier 27 The Carnival Cruise terminal .

I worked here, I left about 4 years and 2 months ago to give birth to my baby, Andrew Ryan Pasquinelli, I was a little over 7 months pregnant when I left. I had very short "men's" style haircut when I worked here. It was an awesome spot back then. None of the original crew is here except one traitor. No soul left, spot is not worth anything. There is no garlic in anything.

This was my first time and to be honest I went on the suggestion of Guy Fieri's TV show and it wasn't bad. I had the pulled pork sandwich it had great flavor a little on the spicy side 😋 but it was a little to salty for my pallet. Now the guacamole and salsa with chips that was the star of the show. My wife had the fish and chips, Cod fish typical nothing to write home about and we both had the garlic fries 👍🏾. All in all a nice dinning experience the drinks I almost forgot 🙃 they were good! I had the Moscow mule and my wife had 2 margaritas 🍹. As for the staff they were great very attentive and pleasant.

We've been lucky to visit multiple times in the course of many years and Pier 23 still remains consistent. I always like to ask for a waterview when the weather is nice, the view never disappoints and the vibe here is always the best. They used to have this crab and shrimp sandwich that isn't on the menu anymore that was amazing!! It was our favorite but we've tried many things from the menu and have never been disappointed. The chowder and fries are so good! Reserve in advance or visit during non-peak times to score the best tables and flow of service.

48.50 out the door carry out for one double burger, one piece of fried fish, and lots of garlic fries. Everything was good burger a bit to chard, fries were great. It would be 4 stars if you want to eat on water. Wish i could love this place bc its one of closest restaurants to me but wont be back due to competition being cheaper and better.

Loved eating here as it’s so relaxing and beautiful. We had a wonderful lunch here but it was a tad bit cold so be aware. The service was excellent and they had really good shrimp cheddar sandwiches and decent kale Caesar salads. We liked the simple chill decor and decent prices.

As a local, I always appreciate this place. Great weekday lunch option on a sunny day, nice patio right on the water. Good bar food.

As good as it gets. Old fashion classy service, everything on the menu is fresh and prepared well. Cocktail menu has all the classics. Price is fair for what you get and then some. Cheers, have been back many times and never regretted it

The bartender was especially warm and helpful. The salad wasn’t memorable but it did what it was supposed to do + the generous helping of shrimp was great! I got fish and garlic chips to go and the fish didn’t make it out of the restaurant 😩 maybe it was the mai tai but I could not stop eating it! Ample serving of fries as well! There was seating inside, at the bar, and on the pier.

Loved this place. We felt welcomed from the second we walked in. The clam chowder has a very buttery flavor, it's amazing. The crab cakes are served on a salad that compliments them perfectly. Definitely will eat here again.

Pier 23 offers a picturesque dining experience with a fantastic outdoor space by the water, making it an ideal spot, especially in good weather. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, providing various outdoor areas. However, the service fell a bit short in creating a genuinely friendly environment. Despite that, it’s a must-visit in San Francisco, particularly for the stunning waterside ambiance and delicious meals.

Ate lunch here right when they opened and the food was amazing. Service was good and the view was good. Definitely recommend trying if your down on the bay side of town.

Nice place. Great location. Excellent service. Maybe I caught them on a good day, but the dining experience was a nice one. We went there for lunch on a weekend and it was almost full but not crowded. The server was attentive and amicable. I'd go back.

Great place to have lunch! Love the food, really tasty and also the service - the waitress was friendly and gave us good suggestions. Despite the mistake made by another colleague on a wrong dessert delivered she promptly corrected and solve it. Quick and smooth. Perfect!

Small cafe & bar, with a back enclosed tent and also outdoor dining. Drinks were perfect and our server was on top of her game. Food was delish. (Note: automatic 20% gratuity on our family of six. I don’t like this but also know it is common.)

We had a nice meal with our family. Loved the location we sat outside with our dog. They where pet friendly and they were kind enough to bring our pup a doggy dish with water. (Thank you). The food we ordered- crab cakes (fresh crab and nice and thick) cheese burger meal(ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS)and drinks Mai Tai and speak easy red DELICIOUS!!!!! WE highly recommend this place.

Stopped here for lunch before we toured Alcatraz from Pier 33 which was a 5 minute walk. We walked to here from the Ferry Building, maybe 10-20 minutes. Food was good. However, my bay shrimp still had ice in it in my salad, which wasn't great. Pretty expensive (like much of our visit to San Francisco) which we had not really planned for lunch. Server was nice and attentive. Wished it had been a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the outdoor seating with the views.

A long time favorite to stop for cocktails and a maybe a snack or lunch our walks from Ferry Building to Pier 39. Awesome outdoor seating with view of the Bay and exceptional staff. Decent pours and cold beers baby! Do it.

I arrived while they were closing (at 6pm). This was back in August of 2021, so Covid was still affecting the attendance. However, they allowed me to order a drink and helped me by charging my cellphone while I waited. I had foolishly drained the battery exploring the city and taking pictures/videos of Alcatraz. I would have been at a loss trying to get back to my hotel, so I was extremely grateful!!!

My experience was wonderful! Me and my spouse went around 3 or 4 ish and ordered the Jamaican Jerk Cauliflower, fish and chips, and cheese burger with garlic fries. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly with the right amount of char and lightly seasoned with enough heat index to handle. The fish and chips were actually my husbands' but he insisted I try it although I only eat catfish. This is the best damn fish I think I've ever tried besides catfish in my life. It was THAT good. I got the cheeseburger and to my surprise it was a double meat and cheeseburger which I don't typically get, but the two patties didn't overwhelm the bun or make it soggy which is a plus and it wasn't oversized like most double patties are. This was a perfect burger with the best char amount that was crispy throughout. The garlic fries were fresh and tasty and goes oh so well with my burger! The manager was very personable, attentive, and very nice! His laid back energy paired with dressing down made him seem really in sync with not only The staff but The patrons too! The atmosphere was chill some awesome music was playing. Our cocktails were delicious and the view alone was breath taking. We were on the deck eating amongst sea gulls looking at a real cruise ship up close and personal. What an experience! I will come back again! HIGHLY recommended if your in the area for a great dining experience. The amount of people inside is telling compared to other places
