I
stayed
in
a
king
room
on
a
high
floor,
but
unfortunately
I
was
only
facing
Market
St
and
did
not
get
upgraded
to
a
room
with
a
view.
It’s
nice
to
see
the
rooms
were
recently
renovated,
but
the
bathroom
was
oddly
small.
When
checking
in,
the
front
desk
was
not
particularly
friendly
and
seemed
very
transactional.
Nothing
about
the
hotel
was
explained,
like
the
club,
or
the
destination
fee.
Perhaps
they
were
having
a
bad
day.
I
later
found
out
that
the
destination
fee
does
include
a
$15
daily
credit
to
the
restaurant
in
the
lobby,
which
is
deducted
automatically
when
you
charge
to
your
room.
The
regency
club
is
located
on
the
top
floor,
and
provides
a
360
degree
view.
There
are
concrete
beams
below
the
windows
that
prevent
you
from
seeing
anything
close,
but
the
far
away
views
are
great.
The
club
is
also
ring
shaped,
which
makes
it
feel
a
bit
small
since
there
isn’t
any
open
space.
Breakfast
is
available
at
the
club,
but
the
options
were
limited
to
mostly
cold
items,
pastries
and
hot
eggs,
with
no
hot
protein
available.
In
the
evening,
there
was
much
better
selection
including
cold
cuts,
vegetables,
salad
and
dumplings.
The
club
could
also
use
some
more
attention
or
staffing
when
it’s
busy
during
breakfast
hours
on
the
weekends,
with
many
issues
arising
such
as
the
coffee
machine
being
out
of
milk,
unclean
tables,
and
no
more
cutlery
or
water.
Although
the
location
of
this
Hyatt
is
great,
being
right
by
the
ferry
building,
I
would
probably
choose
one
of
the
other
Hyatt
hotels
in
the
future.
There
are
many
great
Hyatt
options
in
San
Francisco
and
even
though
my
time
here
wasn’t
bad,
it
also
wasn’t
as
good
as
some
of
my
other
experiences.
