Good location. The interior deco has its taste. Super impressive lobby. Room size is on the smaller side. Globalists were given the renovated rooms which don’t have view at all. Lounge was still closed. Basically no amenities. Breakfast options quite limited - almost just like a Hyatt place breakfast with metal utensils. Parking is supposed to be free for globalists on an award stay - but be careful to only take the valet option, as self parking is on your own, and it’s very misleadingly stated. Such a pity.

Clean hotel with beautiful style modern decor and close to the waterfront. We used all services. The valet is priced as expected for the area ~50 bucks a night. The bar closes around 11 or 12 but stops serving food earlier. The morning breakfast has much the feel of a typical buffet. The lobby is gorgeous and has many areas for guests to sit as work or hang out. The gym is well appointed and was one of my favorite features. The rooms we stayed in were renovated and clean. It was a wonderful four day stay for our entire party. I would stay here again happily.

I stayed in a king room on a high floor, but unfortunately I was only facing Market St and did not get upgraded to a room with a view. It’s nice to see the rooms were recently renovated, but the bathroom was oddly small. When checking in, the front desk was not particularly friendly and seemed very transactional. Nothing about the hotel was explained, like the club, or the destination fee. Perhaps they were having a bad day. I later found out that the destination fee does include a $15 daily credit to the restaurant in the lobby, which is deducted automatically when you charge to your room. The regency club is located on the top floor, and provides a 360 degree view. There are concrete beams below the windows that prevent you from seeing anything close, but the far away views are great. The club is also ring shaped, which makes it feel a bit small since there isn’t any open space. Breakfast is available at the club, but the options were limited to mostly cold items, pastries and hot eggs, with no hot protein available. In the evening, there was much better selection including cold cuts, vegetables, salad and dumplings. The club could also use some more attention or staffing when it’s busy during breakfast hours on the weekends, with many issues arising such as the coffee machine being out of milk, unclean tables, and no more cutlery or water. Although the location of this Hyatt is great, being right by the ferry building, I would probably choose one of the other Hyatt hotels in the future. There are many great Hyatt options in San Francisco and even though my time here wasn’t bad, it also wasn’t as good as some of my other experiences.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to Embarcadero where you will enjoy all the major attractions San Fran has to offer. Most of those will be a short walking distance while some you will have to drive. The beds were amazingly comfortable. I got a great night rest. Rooms are sparkly clean. I mean really clean. Sheets crispy fresh and of high quality. Inside, the hotel has such a modern vibe. Loved the capsule elevators. It’s quiet as well. Bathroom has a nice shower. Loved it!

Excellent option for a stay in downtown SF. Location is incredibly convenient at the beginning of the trolley line, across the street from the ferry building, and the street car stop allows for easy access to anywhere in the city or the surrounding area. The building itself is a bit of an architectural marvel as well, the main lobby is immense, and provides for an open and welcoming space. The services are excellent both breakfast and the convenience location are well stocked and have friendly and helpful staff. Concierge and transportation assistance are also available throughout the day. The staff throughout our stay were incredibly friendly and helpful. The views from the room are beautiful, and the balconies provide a nice tough to the room. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms very clean and stocked with everything you need. The rooms are beginning to show a little bit of wear, as the shower floor had some peeling, and the door would stick a bit. However, the benefits of this location are far too many to have minor issues like this detract from staying here. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

Stunning property located directly across the Embarcadero from the Ferry Building. We stayed for one night and had a great time. The rooms were incredible and clearly have been refurbished lately. The architecture of the hotel is gorgeous. The atrium is eye candy and just taking the elevators is a trip in itself. The staff were extremely friendly and the onsite restaurant and shop were very nice, and pricing is what you would expect these days.

Great hotel and location! Was here for a conference. Staff so friendly and accommodating! I’ve been a member for a few years and I got early check in and a late check out-so fortunate for my flight times! I have to give a special shout out to Hazel who was my looked after us from the moment we checked into our room and gave us extra coffee and cream. Saw to ALL of our needs. Nadine at concierge desk gave me such amazing advice -my colleagues gave me HUGE kudos for her suggestion for our night out. Room cleanliness and the bed…so comfortable like sleeping on a cloud! Online room checkin and quick and easy telephone check out amazing! Excellent air quality in rooms and hotel. Thank you Hyatt for a great stay!! Hydration stations on every floor by elevator. Only negative was far distance of ice machine. Needed to ice my knee from all walking around the city it’s a huge hotel so if you have mobility issues ask for room near elevator. View from ice machine was gorgeous! Made up for the hike!

We enjoyed a brilliant 5-night stay in this hotel. Top service, spacious, modern room and ideally located for everything we wanted to do in San Francisco. The main lobby area is spectacular (just going up and down in the lifts is an experience) and we made use of the bar, mini-market and gym too. We didn't eat breakfast there because it seemed expensive, but there are plenty of places nearby and/or cheap options in the on-site market. I would highly recommend the hotel and stay there again if I'm ever in the city.

Very surprised by the 4.4 star rating! Though friendly, the staff all seemed to display a “rushed” attitude as if they did not have the time to listen. Being a Hyatt member, I usually feel the rewards but did not at this property! Accommodations were made to change my rooms when requested but again, no urgency or emphasis on fixing issues that I complained about! The restaurant at this location’s restaurant is/was only open weekends which made having dinner IN the hotel challenging! Nice location, friendly Housekeeping and Valet! The Hyatt Orange Grove location continues to go above and beyond EXCELLENT service each and every time! I would not stay at this particular location again!

The best view hotel of the bay and historical ferry building. Location is perfect for tourists since it’s between Fisherman’s wharf(sightseeing) and Soma(great restaurants). It’s in financial district so streets are clean and felt safe. Well equipped amenities like Dry bar dryer, handy steam iron and nice pod coffee maker. Also remote controller was covered in plastic, V sanitary. We booked King water view room. The best view for sure and the room seems recently renovated. It’s small space but efficiently designed. If you want to book this room, book it via Hyatt official website since the hotel offer best rate for this particular room.

We had a fantastic stay here and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a very nice hotel at a fair price. The room was updated with all the latest in convenience (including motion-sensored path lights next to the bed where you walk). The service was perfect including Pedro at the breakfast buffet and the lovely lady who checked us out. When she asked how our stay was and I said it was awesome - her reply was “you are awesome” which made us both laugh and made my day.

This hotel has the most amazing view of the Bay. It is extremely close to public transit answer and to fisherman's wharf. The inside the hallways are very strange but kind of cool all at the same time. The front desk staff and the concierge were both wonderfully staffed and very helpful. Their eclipse restaurant has pretty good food but it is kind of pricey. Their regular market the breakfast is very good the dinner not so much but I guess it depends on what you get.

Howdy! I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco and it was a mighty fine experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The atmosphere was sophisticated and inviting, with a grand lobby that made for a great first impression. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. But what really stood out was the quality of service - the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure every need was taken care of. Highly recommend for a luxurious stay in San Francisco!

A great hotel right in downtown. The lobby is amazing, the restaurant in the hotel is actually pretty great. The rooms are clean and very modern. Water pressure was the only issue we had with the room. I'd gladly stay here again though.

First time staying here, but it brought back memories as a kid many years ago visiting here and watching the elevators go up and down. Too bad they do not have plants hanging off each floors anymore. Food at the club lounge at the top was okay, but the view was nice. Our room was okay but feels a bit too empty and sterile.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean. The shower had a nice rain shower head. The balcony had a great partial view of the bay. The staff was so nice and friendly. The gym is HUGE and has the newest equipment. I would 100% stay again. The area also feels very safe.

Fantastic service, excellent rooms and great location! All the staff are extremely friendly. Fantastic breakfast buffet with many vegetarian/eggetarian options. Room service everyday! Easy access to cable car, street car, muni, Bart and bus. No need to take out your car at all.

Stayed here 2 nights. LOVED the location. So many transportation options steps from the front door. Room was very clean and spacious. The beds were SUPER comfy. Our only downside to the stay was the shower was hard to control with temperature and the breakfast buffet was pricey so we ended up not doing it. Overall a really great stay and would stay again.

I stayed this hotel with my mom and dad on mid-June. First of all, I want to thank Mr. Andy for his great service-minded. He offered me an upgrade to a bigger room with Regency club access for just 100$. The room is perfectly fit with my family. There are two bathroom, one king bed, and one sofa bed with balcony access. We enjoyed a fabulous view at Regency club on the top floor. This hotel will always be my first choice if I have to stay in San Francisco.

Stayed at the Hilton Regency San Francisco, overall pleasant stay on business. The front desk representative was helpful, 6 professional in assisting us after a 4 hour delay arriving. Unfortunately, my bed linens were unsanitary (please housekeeping change those sheets and pillow cases). Room was nice and I enjoyed my stay. Would stay here next time I'm in San Francisco. Gym was great as well. Housekeeping, please do better.

Amazing hotel & location. Lobby has fun games for the kids/adults with relaxing seating areas. The architecture alone is outstanding to look at. Food in hotel was great. I highly suggest the fondue fries. Beautiful view from very comfortable room. Great hotel choice for a visit in the city.

Had a wonderful stay, for three nights, it was a nice area, the location was great to go everywhere. The only down side was that one of the receptionist was a bit more curt than I expected, maybe had a bad day. The other thing was that the parking is paid parking, so if you plan on driving there and leaving a car that's another expense you'll have to think on (no it's not a pass so you have to pay every time). The view from our room was fantastic, also very quiet at night so you can't hear others, the waiting area at the lobby was also a nice area to take pictures at. Over all a great time and a wonderful place to stay.

This Hyatt establishment is quite impressive, boasting a favorable location and offering decent views depending on the room. Its direct proximity to a historic building across the street adds to its allure. The true reason behind awarding this property a 5-star rating lies in the exceptional level of service we experienced during our stay. Every aspect was executed flawlessly. Although we encountered a minor concern with the Regency Club, the management team promptly addressed the issue, demonstrating their attentiveness. Without hesitation, I would choose to revisit this establishment and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Our stay was perfect. The Garland manages to offer upscale luxury while maintaining a feeling of home. Michael Mercado at the front desk should be the gold standard for customer service. We would highly recommend.

Great downtown location. Nice room. Cool view from Bay Bridge to Salesforce Tower. Excellent service. Drop off and pick up in front of hotel was busy, and staff kept things moving smoothly. Lots of good food and drink nearby and at the hotels restaurant.

I stayed here for two weeks on a business trip. Great experience! Rooms have charging ports, are clean, multiple lighting options, complimentary shampoos/soaps, look nice. They’re good about getting the rooms cleaned and there is always someome ready to help. If you prefer not to have staff in your room, they’re good about respecting that as well. They even have free umbrella rentals if you don’t come ready for the rain like I did. The only things that kind of suck are the elevators - super slow and get packed, and also the destination fee thing is weird. It’s a $15 daily charge that you can use at hotel or shops nearby. I asked to have it applied the one time I used, but it didn’t happen. It’s the reason why they’re getting 4 stars, weird fee and they should make it optional or respect its application more. Other than that, it’s a nice stay in San Fran.

Perfect spot for a weekend stay. Just after the mask mandate lift with walking access to many restaurants, coffee shops, and city specific spots to enjoy. Every movie costs $20 from the room. Definitely would go back with good deals. Great hospitality and the inside is spectacular to see.

Beautiful hotel. Comfy beds and lots of room. We had a Bay front room and the view was limited but not bad. The location was great. Clean and safe. If I came back I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Beautiful lobby and room. Loved the toiletries. Disappointed with convenience store and restaurant in lobby, prices and limited selection. Friendly staff. 10 days since I checked out, made several calls to Hyatt and my credit card company, $200 hold still not removed. Frustrating! I've gone back and forth with both and tired of it.

What a delightful interior architectural design. The lobby is on the upper level, where you’ll find the gym, wide open space with an oversized color changing sphere. This open space offers plenty of seating arrangements for any seating preference. A very artistic combination of beautifully arranged circular mosaic white floors, with beautiful dining area (a small grab and go cafeteria). Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to visit the other features of this hotel. But this is a perfect place for a business meeting.

Beautiful hotel with many stunning architectural details. The rooms are comfortable and very tasteful with amazing views of the bay and Embarcadero. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly and made our four legged family feel just as much at home. The location is great and right next to the BART and Muni so all of SF and the Bay Area is right at your finger tips. We will definitely stay at this location again.

The lobby was spectacular and the staff was very friendly. Pros: Clean common areas. Comfortable rooms and very beautiful lobby with lots of room for socializing. Cons: Huge hotel and took long to actually enter or leave the hotel and get to your room. The selections at the deli and bar were limited but that's not a big deal.

This Hyatt is rated four stars. With my experience at this hotel, I would rate it five stars for its helpful staff, location and luxury and grace. Located just outside the hotel is a cable car stop that will take you to the nearby Chinatown. I was directed to the concierge desk for help with securing payment over my phone for the ride. The concierge gave me very valuable advice about protecting my financial information. A short walk from the hotel you can walk through the Ferry Plaza Building, with all its shops and places to dine. Not far away, Pier 39 is another great destination. Depending on how much time you have, this Hyatt Regency is located in the heart of San Francisco with countless options for enjoying your stay here.

This is a beautiful hotel. Every detail has been thought of and the rooms are both modern and artistically decorated. Tub and shower with rain water shower head. Huge bathroom vanity with tons of counter space. Globe light fixtures throughout casting warm light in the room. Sofa, coffee table, writing desk and balcony with bistro patio set - perfect to sit out and enjoy a view of the sun setting on the bay. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful, as were security. I arrived by uber and was promptly given directions to go up two floors to the lobby to check in. All employees were gracious, extremely professional and helpful. Truly exemplary customer service.
