Even calling it mediocre would be generous. The tile floor in our room was cracked, the furniture was barely held together, the toilet seat was coming off, and the bathroom light would go out randomly. Our night was spent listening to the screams of other guests running through the halls all night and sirens from the busy city street below. The only up side would have been the wifi info that the desk manager provided us with, but that was also completely nonfunctional.

Omg, if i could rate this place a zero stars i would. first hours of clocking in after our reservation. which was made with an agent on bookings com they said this was a perfect fit. which was not at all. i have recorded a video of a man scouting through peoples windows. made me disgusted since i’ll be staying here for a few weeks. anyways, that made uncomfortable to even be here alone without my man. be safe, look at reviews before you do anything.

Loved the room setup and the service was more than bargained for. The staff was very nice and the service for self care was very appreciated. Honestly, I'd love it if somethings were appreciated like the staff should be here. 2 starts is a little low for service like this.

2.5/5 __ From a females perspective , I'd say Honestly it's not the best but it's something. Stayed twice because it's within budget and I haven't had any major issues. Yes lots of homeless people are around but they don't bother you. Loud, yes sorta? I'm from an area like this in FL so I wasn't phased much.. be aware of yourself and your belongings and you'll be ok. Check your room out, inspect beds and towels and easily replace them if "dirty". Good places to walk and eat atleast. Ask for a receipt once checked out and keep for records til you get your deposit back. Don't make a scene it won't work i promise you.

I got the COVID, and this is where they decided to isolated and quarantine me at... The rooms are nice and spacious the beds are really comfy.. my room also had a mini fridge which was nice... The only small complaint I have is the toilets are really low to the ground and I'm very tall, it kinda makes it a little awkward to sit sometimes....

It's not a nice place to stay at, the only positiv thing about it is the staff and maybe the beds, but it's looks really bad and dirty, the homeless sleeps just out side the room

Spent a night here. Downtown SF so great location. Price was satisfactory at $100 for a two double bedroom. TV easy access. No complaints, would again.

Definitely don't leave ANYTHING in your car! There was a surprise $100 deposit that we didnt know about prior to booking. The room was ok, smaller them I thought it would be, but clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! NO BREAKFAST unfortunately.

Very poor experience. The only thing that justifies the price is the location. Otherwise, most aspects of the room are disappointing. The A/C is broken, the lamp is broken, the wifi is slow and inconsistent, the walls are thin enough that you are disturbed in your sleep all the time and the bed isn't comfortable.

I didn't have any issues while staying here, don't believe all the things people say until you experience something for yourself. I stayed for a total of 9 days it's the most affordable in the better area compared to other cheap motels to the same degree in San Francisco, the service from the employees was good and had no issues. The rooms were clean and everything worked. Didn't have a vehicle so didn't have to worry about parking, overall I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again if I had to stay in a hotel in the city again.

It's not the building that google shows when you look it up, it's a broken down Travelodge, for $200 a night it's only worth it if you have no other options

I would give this MOTEL zero stars but it gets a couple for the following reasons. Pros, Customer service was decent and they seemed to be accommodating if you have special requests such as arriving early and needing to park and/or store luggage. Cons, shady people lurking around the property grounds. Looking like they are getting ready to do a drug deal, steal, or get into a fight with a stranger. The rooms are very old, not so clean, with paper thin walls. I opened the bathroom window for ventilation and it almost fell to the floor. The floors were dirty and the bed was very lumpy. I could clearly hear normal conversations of people in other rooms. The location is both a pro and con. Close to the Metro and practically on Market street but the neighborhood feels unsafe to walk around in day or night. If budget is the issue I'd recommend saving up a little more for an actual hotel in a better area.

Old style motel rooms. If you pay to park there just be careful it's near the bad part of town. Don't leave anything shiny or valuable in your car from what the cops told us downtown. Also if your looking for a lady of the night this is the place to stay. You don't need to look very hard.

Someone at reception "lost" (read stole) our $100 cash deposit, thus we needed to wait 1.5 hours at checkout until they figure this out internally and return us our deposit. Only pay deposit with CC and take recipe.

Perfect location and quality for the price. No faults at all.

It is a hotel with scams and absurd reasons to rob you. At the time of check in, the man in charge told me about the 100 USD deposit I had to leave. Without any problem I gave it to him because it is his insurance in case of any damage to the room. I told the same man that we were 3 people, and clearly I asked him if I needed their passports to register them, and he replied that it was not necessary, that only mine was enough. It turns out that the reservation was between October 22 and 24, I had a flight at 23:59 on October 23 and I left the hotel at 21:00, my brother and my dad stayed at the hotel to leave on the 24th as the reservation was. When they were leaving the hotel, the lady at the reception denied them the refund of the 100 USD arguing that I was not present. This is something absurd, when they are people from the same room who are leaving after me, people with the same last name and absurd when I tried to give the passports to the gentleman and he said it was not necessary. I need my money back as soon as possible. I will go to the last consequences, whatever it takes.

Its not the best of the best but its a Pretty decent room, Ac, Microwave, Tv, Mini fridge and its very close to everything. the price is low compare to the other hotel, Except for not having shower curtain, lol. I Definitely recommended especially if you do short term stay, also pay cash instead, so you get your security deposit right away when u check out. πŸ’―

Comfortable room. Left plaque asking for maid service and they never cleaned my room. I was there for four days. They charge for parking so my bargain hotel wasn't such a bargain afterall. If you don't mind paying for parking and not getting maid service, it is a great place to stay

This hotel is disgusting. Doesn’t look anything like the photos. There are bugs in the room, the only outlet that works in our room is the bathroom. You have to pay for parking which is fine, but not stated when I booked online. Walls are paper-thin. I can hear conversations in the room next to me and everything outside. I am literally debating on sleeping in my car in the parking lot instead 🀒

Liked the location and how quick and easy the transaction of getting my room was but once I got my room and turned the heater or fan on, it started making a super loud sound every 40 minutes or so. Kept waking me up so I went down to ask for a different room for that but the worker told me they don't have any other rooms available till the next day. Was going to check out the next day but ended up staying and got my room changed later the next day. My advice is to ask for a room that isn't a corner room when you are just getting your room . I believe all the cornered rooms have this issue with the heater/ac because I remember this happenening to me last time I stayed here aswell.

This hotel is filled with majority locals who don't have a permanent living situation. Because of this, it can get pretty noisy late at night and early mornings. The staff here is very friendly and understanding of people's various needs.

One star is generous. Rooms are old and smells moldy. The electric plugs don’t work well. If you wanna work with this wifi, forget it. The upload takes forever. The location is nice though. You get what you paid for.

Don't expect nice. It's bare bones basics. But parking is safe. The neighborhood seems very safe, at the point where Civic Center meets The Lower Castro, and with The Mission to your back. Nice staff. But we don't regret paying $110 for a room that sleeps 5 tightly, that was very conveniently located, 1 block from Muni trains, 15 minutes to the Embarcadero, and an easy safe 25 minute train ride to Oracle Park. Remember, you get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for, and this hotel is "cheap" compared to the rest of the city for a good reason. The walls are paper thin, the neighborhood makes you fear for your safety, the windows won't lock, you'll have to fight for your deposit back. This being said, it's near a lot of public transport.

Nice clean rooms. Really nice bathroom looks like they were just remodeled.

Decent room rates, small deposit, rooms are basic but everything you need. Maybe not the best option to stay with family/kids… parking on property is a plus

Keep everything inside your room. It was great to see they have 24/7 security in site.

Just have to give β€œJ” at the SF Central a great big thank you!!! He helped my husband and I out tremendously. Awesome customer service skills, professionalism and overall courteous and kind business ethic. Kudos to you β€œJ” (didn’t want to put his full name on here), but grateful for human beings like him that still care for customers professionally and still shows kindness. It helped us more than you know. Thanks again!!!!! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ™Œ I will always recommend this place to stay and they offer parking too! πŸ‘
