Extremely unprofessional. Booked a reservation over a month in advance, got a confirmation and then received an email informing me they would not be able to honor my reservation a week before check-in. Then calling their relocation services resulted in them trying to rebook me in hotels much further away or that were complete downgrades for the money I paid. Once the operator realized they could not find a good replacement, the call was cut and further attempts to call the relocation line were promptly disconnected as well. I understand a hotel being overbooked, but canceling a reservation made over a month in advance seems like bad service. Do not book here unless you want to potentially stress about finding a replacement later. They clearly don’t value their reservations, and are willing to cancel if their price-per-room increases later.

Excellent hotel. Staff is great. Rooms are nice and very clean. Free breakfast is really good. Nice bar in the lobby and a terrific bar on the roof. Terrific location right across the street from Oracle Park. Also, a terrific sitting area that is outdoors, but covered, and has three gas powered fireplaces that are really fun to sit near.

I took my kids on a road trip and stopped overnight in San Francisco for a Giants game. I had my disabled son and his caregiver with me and even though the parking situation wasn’t great the woman checking me in went above and beyond to help how she could. She was so thoughtful with which room she put us in. We were apparently in a room near the area where it would stay loud for a while following the game which I never would have known to ask for accommodations to avoid this. She moved trash cans to help me get my son out of my car and basically unloaded my car and escorted my sons and caregiver to the room while I parked exactly where she suggested I look. It was a game night, but $80 parking wasn’t in my plan so that stung a bit! The room was super clean and nice and the breakfast in the morning was the best we had all week. It was overall a comfortable and welcoming visit to San Francisco starting with the hospitality of one exceptional employee and a beautiful hotel.

No matter what the pros and cons of this hotel might be, it is without doubt the staff that make it a wonderful experience. Michael, Genevieve, Saoirse and all the front desk staff are amazingly warm and welcoming, and an absolute breath of fresh air after a long drive and day. They are friendly, courteous and will go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. And it's all done with a huge smile! :) The hotel was built in 2019 so everything is new. The rooms are not large, but well designed and insulated - didn't hear a sound! A nice touch would be a small built-in night light under each bedside table, as the rooms are pitch black and light switches are hard to find. Bathrooms are modern and ergonomic - love the deep counter behind the wash basin. My only complaint is bedding. Great mattress, but the duvet is super thin, and there are no spare blankets in the room. The hotel took this as constructive criticism and will hopefully make changes as appropriate. The little I know the staff, they will ensure this will not be an issue in future. Bravo everybody at Hyatt Place San Francisco!

We had an amazing experience at Hyatt Place San Francisco. The staff, especially Merry and her colleagues at the front desk was excellent and extremely helpful. They had a team of welcoming staff members standing in front of the desk, ensuring everyone felt safe and taken care of. The service staff was also fantastic. Our room was clean and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the staff's welcoming smiles and courteous demeanor made us feel at ease. The hotel's professionalism and efficiency during the check-in process were truly remarkable. Overall, we loved our three-day stay at Hyatt Place San Francisco.

The room was beautiful and big. Great place for having guests at your room. Parking is $50 a little expensive, we actually found a spot on the street and was able to park overnight. It was a risk but I hate paying for parking. The lobby is beautiful and I loved the pineapple infused water. Management was friendly and helpful when we checked in.

We spent two fantastic nights at this hotel. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a super cool roof bar with nightly events. Near by the ballpark and many restaurants. We'll be back.

Stayed here for my daughter's college graduation. The room is a bit small, but otherwise tidy and clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Nice little corner sofa. Really enjoyed the ability to completely black out the room with the shades. Location was perfect, as the graduation ceremony was being held at Oracle Park which is just a quick two minute walk down the street. There's a fun dive bar just a couple of doors down the way called The Stick. Plenty of options for food nearby. Overall a pleasant experience.

Very nice hotel. Price is good as hotels in San Fran are expensive. Right opposite Oracle Baseball Park if you like to see a game. 10 mins on the bus to Union Square, or 20 miss on the tram. Rooms are a great size plenty of room. Breakfast is OK, have had better. I recommend staying here.

Great Hyatt! Not so big, but still all the amenities of a Hyatt.. We had to walk everywhere to find food, and parking across the street $25!! They even let us leave our car out front, while we went to the room, unloaded, and sat down for a min, which really helped, because we got in later than expected. I'll definitely stay here again! πŸŽ„

Pros: proximity to the ballpark and Muni light rail station. Cons: cleanliness of the rooms; there was blood stains on the blanket and stains on the bathroom wall and carpet. Plus some random hair in the bathroom as well. I asked for a late checkout and they said any late checkout past 12 pm would cost $30 - the hotel is not busy so it seemed odd they would charge if you wanted to check out beyond 12 pm, I just wanted to checkout at 1 pm.

This is a hidden gem in my Hyatt Place San Francisco / Downtown . Honestly I would drive from anywhere to have my shoes repaired at Deluxe. In fact when I buy new shoes, first thing I do is take it Sam for him to protect it. Reliable. Efficient. Highly recommend checking them out.

Stayed here for a concert at Chase. Hotel is one of the closest to the site, maybe 1/2 mile. The rooms are a bit worn, black out drapes were ripped and you aren't able to turn off the bathroom fan. Beds are comfortable. The front desk staff were amazing.. very helpful. Limited parking below hotel at $79. Fairly good buffet breakfast.

Everything was going good until I left my necklace in my room, I remember exactly where I left it. When i noticed it was missing after the cleaning service went in. I called to to let them know it’s missing and they said they couldn’t find it. I’m disappointed on how you can’t leave personal stuff in your own room never thought it would be stolen. If you have important stuff and cherish it I recommend staying at a different hotel. Don’t stay here unless you want your stuff stolen.

Great location and very comfortable hotel. Very close to Oracle park for a baseball game and walking distance from Chase Center if you're in town for a Golden State Warriors game. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only thing that didn't make this the perfect stay was that there is not that many options for restaurants in the area.

Great hotel in a really central location of the San Francisco downtown area. Rooms are modern and well designed. Even the bathrooms are really nice (with stand-up showers) and well lit. Free hot breakfast is available every morning - although the inside seating area is small (we used to sit outside most mornings). Parking is also advertised - the parking was full when we got there, so we had to park at The Beacon parking. This worked out really well as they have a Flat-Rate of $30 and it's opposite the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall we had a really good stay!

I really enjoyed staying here! It's very close to public transportation, the hotel is in great condition - very clean. The breakfast was really nice and exceeded my expectations - the breakfast area was a little cramped but that is my only complaint. Friendly staff and great facilities - I would stay here again without a doubt.

Wow wow wow. Absolutely incredible hotel. The room, very nice. Room had a large TV with plenty of channels, bed was very comfortable, and the shower and bathroom were awesome. Service was great as well. Free water bottles at the front desk and staff always seems happy to help. The location is convenient for just about anything you would like to do. Oracle Park is right down 3rd St, a bus stop a few blocks away, and multiple shops/businesses in the vicinity.

Great location convenient to Oracle Park and many restaurants and bars. The check-in was super fast and easy. Rooms are large and nicely updated. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Clean linens. Free breakfast. Best of all, we got a room with a great view. It's a good value large chain hotel, but it delivers on all points. We prefer staying in Japan Town SF, but this will be our first choice if we are attending a match at Oracle Park when in SF.

Perfect hotel for a stay in San Francisco! Clean, convenient, wonderful and welcoming staff, and located near the ballpark and plenty of restaurants. This is definitely my favorite place to stay!

I absolutely love this hotel. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are pristine, and the lobby/bar is spacious with lots of seating! I had a conference at Moscone, which was an easy walk, and I preferred this location to the cluster of hotels closer to Union Square. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and grocery shops nearby.

Genevieve is an all-star. Me and my wife had one of the best weekends of our marriage staying at this location. Genevieve was beyond helpful and accommodating. I hope she gets a raise and the ones in charge understand what an asset they have in her. Thank you so much Genevieve for the juices and chips while we waited. Those saved to the day no joke. Be excellent

View was great. Hospital staff was awesome and very friendly! Simon was super nice and helped us with check in and informed us about the free continental breakfast. Alicia allowed us to use the bag check while we explored SF. Definitely will come back again!

More of a 3.5 than a 3. Things are clean and seem recently updated. Staff was super nice. Location is phenomenal if you want to stay in that neighborhood. No real complaints just there's a few things that would really make it better. So here's some if they read this - Pillows are flat. Like, really flat. I put a towel under them. Plastic cups that are too small. Better to have decent glass ones. Constant bath fan, no way to turn off, the drone is pretty unpleasant and hard to mask the sound. Only one soap for both sink and shower. I mean, cmon. So if those can get fixed, this place could easily be a 5-star for me. I'll still go back.

Stayed here early 2022 and unfortunately they still had a lot of their COVID protocols in place which included no housekeeping to make the bed or tidy the room. That was a bummer and it felt like I missed out on a true Hyatt experience. I didn't have toothpaste or a comb so I called the front desk to request some but they didn't have either items available so I walked to Walgreens to buy both items. It really just seemed like a shell of a hotel, but maybe now with COVID protocols lifted, they may offer more services. The hotel is in a great location so it's definitely worth the price. I also really loved that you could black out the entire room. I was well-rested every day.

Yummy breakfast choices, good dining in and out, very comfy beds, clean rooms, lighting could be a better kind, good view from windows, they could have been cleaner but no big deal. The minus 2 stars are due to the following: the doorman questioned if we were guests as though he would have told us to leave. Lots of people coming in and out. When booking the room they didn't tell us that parking was first come first serve and possibly unavailable, so once there that left us with no time than to pay a price gouging amount down the road because of the game going on. We also were not made aware they would hold an extra $80 after the total. Could hear the chairs scooting from the restaurant above, they didn't tell us to use our doorcard to access a specific floor in the elevator so we went to 4 different floors in a loop before asking the rooftop lol - hotel customer traffic was pretty snobby but I don't hold that to the hotel, just to note.

Just an excellent place to stay, upon arrival you are greeted with nothing but smiles, both the day associate Simon and the night associate Vangish, both provided my family and I EXCELLENT service, the hotel was clean, modern and centralized to a lot of great restaurant all within walking distances. The roof top restaurant was fabulous, as a guest you don’t have to wait in the long lines. So definitely a 5 star rating for me !!!

Close proximity to SF Giants Oracle Park. The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, and great breakfast. Walking distance to stores. Parking is a bit expensive at nearby garage but super worth it. Look forward to coming back in future. The rooftop bar at night is great to unwind.

Staff is amazing! Location is good too, first time in San Francisco. Rooms are on the small side, but you can tell they use every inch of available space. Will stay again for sure. Everyone that assisted us was kind and courteous.

This hotel snuck in a 100% charge at the time of booking for a hotel room 2 months away in the future, then refused to give a refund. Then they cancelled the room but didn't give a refund causing a fun paperwork wild goose chase. Corporate Hyatt is not helpful, you are ON YOUR OWN if you book with this franchise. And doubly so if you book here. AVOID unless you like getting ripped off.

The walls are super thin you can hear everything. The maids started cleaning rooms hella early in the morning. And we expected 24/7 room service/ 25/7 menu as advertised on there website. When we asked for a menu they said sorry we aren't offering that.

Beautiful sight from the room, straight on Financial District. I fell in love with night view. Rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is very kind and smiling. I surely return here some day.

I've stayed at Hyatt places around the country. I "liked" it because of the staff and the location. The staff is excellent and sets a high standard for other hotels. The rooms are extremely small compared to every other Hyatt Place I've stayed in. In terms of San Francisco hotels the rooms are average size, but do not compare to other Hyatt Place locations so keep that in mind. It has a nice upstairs deck as well as a very cool rooftop restaurant. The morning breakfast very good, the coffee is always full and they always have fresh ice water available in the lobby. Around the hotel there is a grocery store a modern bowling alley, a Starbucks and of course the baseball stadium and basketball arena. Lots and lots of food choices in the area.
