Amazing small boutique hotel that exceeded our expectations in every way. Fantastic complimentary breakfast and evening wine receptions, as well as nightly turn-down. Fabulous views from Pacific Heights in a beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommended!

The Hotel Drisco is a wonderful hotel with an intimate, European feel. My wife and I were in San Francisco for a 2 night stay to attend a wedding . We did not want to stay in one of the larger, chain properties and found this wonderful property in the beautiful Pacific Heights neighborhood. From check in to check out, the staff was very attentive and helpful. The property is gorgeous and very well maintained. Every single staff member we encountered (from the front desk, the servers, room staff and Eduardo the head of maintenance (who stepped in as a tour guide) were friendly, gracious. The room we stayed in was well appointed and very clean. The morning breakfast is very well done and the service was excellent. We regret that we were not able to attend the wine reception held every day. All in all a wonderful experience and will stay again.

Hotel Drisco is a top notch hotel with exceptional rooms, service and food. Don’t miss the wine and cheese evening offering. It is the best I have ever experienced. Breakfast is fantastic too. This hotel puts the customer experience first in every way.

This hotel gets five starts plus in every way, including service, wine & food substance, style, and the endless list of amenities. If it’s not on the list, just ask! It’s likely doable. Thank you to all of you. You made the week amazing, and the pacific heights Halloween displays, and lovely weather, just added to the experience.

Hotel Drisco absolutely MADE our stay in San Francisco. From the moment we checked in to the time my wife and I (reluctantly) checked out we enjoyed every second of our stay. The hotel and room itself was just as beautiful as the Pacific Heights neighborhood it is located in and our view from our fourth floor room provided an amazing view of the cityscape and the bay. The staff was incredibly inviting and helpful and no detail to the visitor experience was spared. Our room was as clean as could be and the attention to detail added to our experience. For anyone looking to stay in San Francisco and avoid the hustle of the wharf/downtown area, look no further. Hotel Drisco will be my wife and I's first choice for every visit to the area from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Old world elegance and customer service. Professional, courteous and the staff really cares. Everything in the guest rooms is extremely well appointed and first rate. The sitting room is classic and serves fabulous coffee on china and the breakfast and happy hour is not to be missed.

Great location in the beautiful neighborhood of Pacific Heights and centrally located to many great spots in the city. The rooms are standard with some nice touches and amenities. Unfortunately, this is all you are paying for. The front desk staff was terrible and did not make us feel welcomed at all. After staying three nights, we didn't even receive a thank you for staying with us. There are much better options in the city that offer a more inviting experience. Sadly, we will not be returning.

The Hotel Drisco is one of the top hotels in the city. The place is comfortable in a way that is hard to describe. It’s beautiful and most importantly it’s quiet, as it’s away from the bustle in the city. The rooms are inviting, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The wine and munchies in the afternoon are not to be missed, as is the breakfast. A pro tip, order an omelet. We didn’t drive there, so we can’t comment on parking. We asked out of curiosity, and we were told that they would have taken care of our car, so don’t worry about the parking. The hotel is on top of a hill, so if you’re interested in walking, you can get a wide range of challenges. The Presidio is reasonably close and interesting. All in all, the place is highly recommended.

Another stellar stay at this hotel in Pacific Heights. This place never misses in providing the highest quality experience! From the moment I arrived to my early departure, I was well taken care of with literally all of my needs attended to with great kindness and yes, efficiency and style. I'll continue to choose this as my preferred hotel when visiting San Francisco on business AND pleasure.

Our vacation stay at Hotel Drisco was the most impressive and outstanding hotel stay we have ever experienced anywhere! Every aspect of our stay was exceptional! This is a world-class hotel that may well be the finest hotel in the United States! The location, the beautiful hotel suite, the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept on, the wonderful breakfast buffets and evening buffet and wine receptions, the cleanliness and great housekeeping, and all of the excellent and welcoming staff members made for a memorable stay!

I absolutely love this hotel. I think I would put it up high on list of all time favorites! Great guest services, comfortable rooms and beds, delicious breakfast and evening wine and appetizers, and then all the details that I never see in other hotels from providing lip balm, filtered water, to little bags of goodies for your flight (and lots of tea!). I will be back!

This hotel is just perfectly elegant and comfortable and the service impeccable! The breakfast and wine reception are worth the price of the hotel. The location is wonderful and the guest rooms are kept so clean. The little amenities like fresh water, ice and evening cookies are icing on the cake!

It was an absolute treat staying at the Drisco. Despite a little scaffolding set up outside the place for painting and repairs, the staff was accommodating and on top of their game. The Drisco excels in the details: heated towels on our arrival, a pillow menu, and even a little gift bag on our departure. Even the continental breakfast and wine happy hours were excellent. The Drisco is a quaint old hotel, set in a quiet neighborhood with excellent views of the city and bay. Just a quick walk from the Presidio as well.

Will definitely be back! My sister booked this for me and now I am spoiled. Will be tough to compare this to anywhere else. The breakfast and wine reception are fantastic. The amenities can't be beat. Only five block walk to Fillmore st shops. Thank you for great service 😀

This little gem is a jewel to behold. The staff is absolutely tremendous. They get it done. The word “no” is not in their vocabulary. This first class too shelf establishment is run under the direction of premier management and an incomparable GM. From the beautiful service car to the exceedingly clean rooms it’s a wonderful experience. We enjoyed every second of our stay. We shall return! Thank you for your professionalism courtesy and kind consideration. APlus. 5 star. Highest rating. The best.

This was such a wonderful experience! In a quiet peaceful part of town that is easily walkable to amazing bars and restaurants. The accommodations and service are impeccable. The breakfast is fantastic! The heated floors are phenomenal. The customer service makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. They have seating in front of the hotel and it’s a beautiful spot to have a morning coffee or evening tea, drink. I highly recommend staying here if you’re staying in San Francisco, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The only place I like to stay when visiting San Francisco- too many reasons to enumerate in full but the short list is great service from warm and delightful staff, lovely rooms, very quiet location, fantastic wine hour, wonderful continental breakfast... it's like a small top-tier European hotel. Truly a home away from home.

A beautiful, luxurious, incredibly accommodating boutique hotel in a posh part of town. Complimentary everything, super comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with custom coffee and omelette’s. Hotel fits right in a movie

Luxurious boutique hotel in beautiful Pacific Heights. There are numerous thoughtful touches that make a stay here special: Tea/coffee all day in the sitting area (don't miss the biscotti), the extravagant free-of-charge happy hour and breakfast, the use of a car service within San Francisco, the filtered water in your room, and the free use of hotel bicycles (including two e-bikes)! The staff were all kind and personable. I was extremely spoiled and hope to return!

Outstanding experience! Possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and definitely the best in San Fran. Located in the gorgeous Pacific Heights neighborhood, Hotel Drisco is a refreshing escape from downtown. My new husband and I stayed in the lovely city room suite, which has the most breathtaking views. The room itself is exquisite and no detail is left overlooked. Even the bathroom floors have a mechanism that keeps them warm! The complimentary breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese service is exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The entire staff is professional and welcoming. Bob, the front desk manager, was so helpful and kind. Eduardo, the bellhop, couldn't have been nicer. Definitely a 5 star experience. A few things to note- this is an old, historic building, so the walls are thin and the floors creak. However, it wasn't a problem at all because they have a strict, no-noise policy between certain hours. The hotel is located in a busy neighborhood and parking is tricky, but they do offer to park your car for you, which is very convenient. Finally, I would NOT recommend this hotel to people with young kids under the age of 12. It's definitely more suited for adults, especially couples who are looking for a romantic getaway. I mention this because there was a family with 3 young kids staying at the same time as us, and they were very rowdy and obnoxious. Kind of kills the mood a little! Overall, my husband and I loved staying at the Hotel Drisco and we're looking forward to returning next year. Is it pricey? Absolutely, but if you're looking to treat yourself, it's well worth it.

Simply lovely. We enjoyed easy street parking and help with bags. We were warmly greeted by all at this charming, beautiful and spotless hotel. Elegant but not stuffy at all, and the reception and breakfast were great!
