Wish I didn’t even have to allow 1 star. NOT WORTH THE LOWER PRICE. Terrible neighborhood. Brawls and drugs in the streets all night long. Mold and roaches in the shower. Bed bugs and mice!!! When we tried to leave the staff was extremely rude and wouldn’t give a refund without “proof.” Do NOT stay here. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little extra to stay somewhere cleaner, safer, and more convenient.

Worst hotel experience of my life. I made a reservation months in advance, when I made it to the hotel they told me they had no rooms available. I wanted to record them confirming the hotel name and their names so I wouldn’t get charged, and one of them assaulted me. He charged against me, grabbed my phone and threw it on the ground. I will make a police report to hopefully get that criminal to pay for his crime

Stayed here for 7days; this is on my own opinion. The staff I encountered was awesome and friendly. I stayed here so I wouldn't break bank while looking for my own apartment here in san francisco. Neighborhood is shady since it's in the tenderloins, but one rule of thumb in any major city is to mind your business and you'll be aiight. I literally walk out at 2am to hit the corner market no issues. It is close to market street so you can catch bart (metro) and Muni (public transit) to your destination. Haven't encountered any types of bugs like the other folks that stayed here...... best part is they got 24hr service for the lobby (opening the gates). Office hours are normal hours. So about after 11:30pm. You'll see lights off in the office. I just got my apartment 2days ago and been setting it up. Almost done. Gonna check out and head to my new home.

The neighborhood is not for everyone and I wouldn’t recommend it for a female traveling alone, but for me a single male in his 40s it was perfect. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, enjoyed the pvt bath and the refrigerator that was in my room. You certainly get what you pay for l, even without AC the room was cool. The WiFi was very powerful and you can’t beat the price. I would have given five stars for more towels, was given one and another that wasn’t in good repair, comforter should be retired since it has a cigarette burn in it. The sofa in the room should be retired, it’s a bit worn and doesn’t provide much support. Would stay here again if visiting and need a bargain place to stay.

When I checked myself in, I found that these people were able to attend to me. I honestly loved the way they made sure that I actually had money on my debit card... Because people, these days... Aren't trustworthy. They made sure that I was serious about my money and checking in. Not many people like this kinda thing... But, I honestly liked the customer service representation I got here. You don't run into people like this lately! This place, I give 5 stars in to!

Two stars for the friendly and helpful staff. Besides that, the neighborhood is very bad, super many homeless and drunks. No bathroom in the rooms but the shared bathroom was clean. And oh yes, we caught a mouse in our room the first night... Recommended for adventurous couples or people who need a reality check. But not for the faint of heart. :-)

I'll be honest, by most conventional standards, this place doesn't deserve the four stars I've awarded them. However, everything is relative, right? That said, the Page Hotel is consistently the least expensive hotel of it's kind in it's area - for a room in the $50 range (that's $43 plus tax, if memory serves) without a required deposit, it's a steal. Sure, you have a few problems ... to be expected for the price, though. However, there's really nothing significant - minor cockroaches in some rooms, the place could be cleaner and slightly better repaired (fresh paint, repair furniture, replace towel hooks, etc - those kind of things). Note I have yet to see problems involving ... certain types of bugs not to be named. And that is very important in low-priced rentals of any type. The main problem now - availability. Since I've told everyone I know how good of a value it is, the place sells out fairly early in the day (okay maybe it's not solely due to my word of mouth, but I'm taking credit for it anyway). So you have to book in advance or rent fairly early to get a room. Seems like they could get away with raising the rates a little bit, but let's not tell them. p.s. I almost forgot to mention one concerni did have about this place - staff. For the most part, they're really great. However, from time to time it will seem like they're not being company honest when claiming they have no

The staff is great the price is reasonable you get what you pay for and it's worth it the area is kind of shady so be careful but definitely recommend if you're looking for a cheap hotel clean there's no bugs or anything visible

Friends from out of town stayed 1 night and I went and got them. Hotel is clean but it's the Tenderloin area in Frisco. No place for 2 out of town ladies to be staying.

EFF THESE PEOPLE! Staff is incredibly rude and doesn't know how to do their jobs and somehow that's the customers fault or definitely burden if anything.. wouldn't recommend, and I for one, will never be back.

Not the great neighborhood to walk around but a cheap hotel with private bathroom. Good for a night or two

You can't expect much for the price $50 honestly and that is what you get here the room I stayed in hadn't been cleaned there was a dirty needle in the drawer and cockroaches I spent more money trying to clean and sanitize and buying my own sheets and blankets and mattress cover to put over everything before I put my sheets on. I had to buy a mat for the shared bathroom shower and bulk size lysol and cleaning wipes and spray before I could use it. No microwave or fridge in the room or anywhere in the hotel. It is in a very bad part of the tenderloin. Now as for the staff they are all great and super helpful well all besides the person who works the graveyard shift at the desk that person (not sure if it is a man or a woman I honestly couldn't tell at all even after multiple interactions) is VERY unfriendly and rude. But I only have positive things to say about all the other people who work there but the people is the only ok thing about this place.

$50 a night no deposit … you get what u pay for and to be fair I’ve paid a lot more for much less so I’d have to say it’s defiantly a decent bang for your buck… just don’t expect it to be more than a 1-2 star place… also no bathroom in the rooms .. it has shared bathrooms on each floor like a lot of cheap SF hotels do.
