Don't do it. I'm literally writing this as I'm at the hotel. I feel duped. Online the pictures look great and about all this hotel has going for it is the location. The room is spacious and the air conditioning works. The bed is old, the pillows are rock hard. The room is dated. The bathtub is teeny tiny and dirty. There is literally no attention to detail. We used our points to book this thinking it would be a treat because the price is so high...what a waste. Dirty and dated. Feels more like jail or something.

We purchased our stay from Travelzoo and were surprised to receive a hotel branded bag with water, wine and popcorn upon arrival. This hotel does not have a view of the water but the location is great. 1/2 block to a nice grocery store with full service deli and a great salad bar. 1 block walk to Main Street restaurants and the Angel Island ferry. Purchase ferry tickets online in advance. Room 315 was nice. Vaulted ceilings. Comfy bed. Mini fridge but no freezer. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash mounted in the shower. The hotel has signs of aging but overall it was nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Parking is free.

This was perhaps the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I do not write reviews, but this was so bad, I wanted to make sure others do not suffer similarly. Staff was simply indifferent to complaints of noise, desire to move to floors where noise would be tolerable. Calling the front desk in the middle of the night to complain of drunk guests stomping around and yelling and laughing yielded voicemail 2/3 times. Lip service was paid to complaints. Fire alarms went off the following night at 10p and 1a. No explanation. No apologies the next day. Clear false statements of being "fully booked" when fire alarms are going off in "empty rooms". Asking for towels yielded bath mat rags. Really? Do yourself a favor, pick a hotel anywhere else and drive into Tiburon. The location is not worth it.

It was fine yrs ago for after a Corinthian yacht club event, but now really? 250 for a glorified motel, when i can pay 100 more for waters edge with all their amenities and VIEW? Or 200 more for mill valley inn, perfection. And i lived in marin 20 years. And all the others offer senior rates/aaa rates as well.

Very nice enjoyed the stay. Only a short walk to the Angel Island ferry. I highly recommend there cruise or a trip to Angel Island. The crew is the nicest and most Hospitable ever. We did the sunset cruise and had the greatest time for our 49th wedding anniversary.

Bed VERY comfortable. But no microwave. On site restaurant ridiculously expensive, 2 tiny scoops of ice cream cost us $25! Small menu and completely out of our budget. Disabled parking SHOULD be closest to elevator. If food prices are not an issue, then it's a very nice place over-all.

Good location, clean, quick and easy check in/out. I can see that this would be a nice spot for company retreat or off-site meetings. Shower water pressure is one of the worst I've experienced - no pressure at all, reminds me of some of the cheap hotels in 3rd world countries. House keeping needs to be requested, which is understandable given current situation but they didn't provide bottle water.

Location is everything. Stay here and you can walk everywhere - try the salt and pepper for breakfast. Free parking is nice, check in staff was great. Rooms are bland but clean.

Free and ample parking. EV Chargers. Clean room. We were on the 2nd floor with 2 Queen beds. Family friendly. Dog friendly. My kid enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Close to SF. Great location. Close to ammenities, stores and restaurants. I requested a bassinet for my baby but it wasn’t provided but it wasn’t a big deal. Wish the room had a microwave for my baby’s food but it wasn’t a deal breaker as my husband was able to use one at the lobby. All in all highly recommend.

Great hot tub, nice outdoor fireplace, nice happy hour. Rooms are average but who wants to stay in your room when you are in Marin County. Lost I watch there not recovered

stayed here 2 nights, pleasant and very comfortable sleeping, room we were allocated was spacious, clean had basic amenities w plentiful free parking. Was cautious though, wooden floors, I imagine footsteps would be quite obvious to guests on the floor below.. otherwise a very pleasant stay indeed.

Not a very nice property, extremely mediocre. I heard a kid in the hot tub refer to it as a $300/night Motel 6...pretty accurate actually. I booked through Expedia, then 3 weeks after my stay the Lodge charged me $85 that they claim is the resort fee. I wasn't notified that they were going to do that, they essentially just helped themselves to my credit card nearly a month after my stay. Then I had to call 6 times asking them to email me the invoice for that charge. The area is absolutely stunning but honestly this lodge is trash.

Essentially an old motel, but kept in excellent shape. Very nice staff and a very good small bar that also serves an excellent breakfast. If you are sensitive to noise, you will hear other guests passing your room. The beds were comfortable but the rooms are basic.

Great customer service - I love the whole staff: Jeff, Orlando, Javier, Manuel and Kathy are super friendly and are always eager to help. We enjoy the pool, hot tub and beautiful rooms. This is our favorite place in Marin county.

You can tell it's an older place. Stayed on the third floor, you could hear it creak and pop when you walked around. Wasn't bad for me, but I wondered what the room below us thought. Went down to the restaurant, was promptly seated and given a menu. Waited about 15 minutes and still no water or waiter to take our order. Finally got up and went back to the room. I tried to order a pizza for delivery, but no one delivered to this area and the only pizza place nearby was already closed. Just settled for snacks out of my back pack and settled in for a good movie.

We stayed here to visit family for Thanksgiving and had the most amazing time. Jeff was the manger and he was the most amazing host that I've ever experienced in the hospitality industry. I would stay anywhere that I knew that Jeff was working, he is the best. He kept us warm with the gas fire and was extremely attentive to any need that we had while we were staying there.

Overall, a great stay! The staff are on it and everything you need is within walking distance. Food next door at the tavern was amazing! Rustic, but renovated. The only thing that bugged me was the first night, there was a family in the room next door and since our rooms had adjoining doors it was easier to hear. Otherwise, lovely time!

My wife and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend. The staff are very accommodating. Having an electric car charger was a big plus. The room we rented was very spacious and had a nice view of the hillside and gave us a couple nice sunsets. Would love to stay here again.

Hotel is right next to the water but not on the water. Short walk will get you to a beautiful park that right along the shoreline. Also a great town with a few shops.

Easy check-in/check-out, very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located, easy walk into downtown. Nice lobby and attached restaurant. Didn't use the pool, but looked nice. The gym was limited.

Bed was very uneven and uncomfortable. For the price of $ 370 for the night I could have purchased a air b n b . But the motel/hotel was recommended by a friend so we stayed, other than that the location was perfect.

Fantastic place, they let me stay and get warm inside around 2am because i was freezing while waiting for the ferry to arrive in the morning back in 2014. We stayed till morning there, the receptionist was nice he said it was supposed to be an hour, anyways i thanked him and said you said my life and we went on our way. thanks

I love everything about the Tiburon lodge and while the rooms are not cheap every single stay has been absolutely wonderful. It has a beautiful seaside feel to it with low pile indoor outdoor carpeting, outdoor pool hot tub and super comfy beds and they pet friendly!! Over the years they have welcomed both of my big dogs to come stay with me . The Tiburon tavern has such amazing food and sometimes live music and a neat outdoor dining area . For me coming from a rural area Tiburon itself is an oasis of peaceful calm in the middle of the crazy busy congested Bay area, and that alone is worth the price of admission. One time we were there over Christmas and they had a very soulful hometown kind of sing-along caroling tree lighting event downtown that was cool. Now you may like to always pick something different to do but Im the sort of person that likes doing what is familiar and only feel happy if I get to stay at the Tiburon Lodge whenever I travel to the San Francisco Bay area and I recommend all my friends stay there too. I have so many great memories there over the years and if you have time you can go walk along the bay or go visit The hippy swinging tree on the top of Tiburon, we've also hopped on the ferry right there and gone over to Angel Island for a day it's a great hub point for different activities.

Room smelled like mold, air conditioning didn’t work well. They’re under construction and started hammering next door at 8:00am… not much of a peaceful getaway especially when you pay extra for a balcony so you can sit and drink your coffee in the morning in peace…nope!!! Very disappointing and too expensive for such a bad experience. Woman at the front desk pretty much said “oh well!” Horrible service.

The Lodge at Tiburon is a very nice and convenient place to stay while visiting Angel Island. Very close to downtown and the ferry. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Review is specifically about Manuel, who saved lovely evening fireplace. Somebody put stones into the fireplace, and it started to dangerously crackle. Manuel turned of the fire, removed all of the hot stones, and turned the fire back on - after ensuring that every last piece was removed. This allowed us to continue to enjoy hot tea, Moroccan mint, by the fireplace.

Nicest room I've ever had in my 74 years!!!!! Big, clean, lots of windows, room on floor, and clean on floor, to do my exercise routine. It had the space and grace I need when traveling.

Booked a quick last minute overnight at Tiburon Lodge. We stayed here 20 years ago on our wedding night, and wanted to visit again (actually our third visit) for our anniversary. We arrived earlier than check in (by 2 hours) because we were hopping the ferry to SF, we popped in to ask if it was ok to park there before we left. Our room was actually already ready so we checked in early, which was nice!! Everything was great, but especially the BED!! Without a doubt, the most soft, cushy, comfortable bed I've ever slept in!! The bedding was so soft, the mattress and pillows were perfect- I wish I could have taken it all home with me!! Absolutely best bed ever! Everything was great, lodge is close to the little downtown, and just a 5 minute walk to the ferry. A perfect quick getaway!

A+ location, right in town, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff was very nice and helpful. The hot tub was clean and hot. All that said, this place is a remodeled old motel, not a luxury resort as it might lead you to believe from the website and pricing. I give the architect who devised the remodel mad props as they do a darn good job disguising the property with wood and stone facade. I enjoyed my stay, but was quite amused at the tacked on WineCountryLux decor.
