Absolutley amazing. One of the best Indian food places I've been to both in terms of food and price. The food itself is really great and it's all for a pretty good price. I've ordered delivery from this place many times and was happy to finally go in-person. This is for sure my go-to Indian place.

Good food with decent prices and good portions. It was self service and pretty clean at dine in. We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and Tandoori Chicken leg. The Naan was more like bread and crisp rather than soft and buttery. So keep than in mind while ordering. Overall decent experience, will go again when in the area.

Tried biryani and wrap. The food tasted very bad. Wouldn't recommend for any one who likes to try authentic Indian.

Ordered chicken biryani, lamb vindaloo, seekh kebab. Loves the chicken biryani and the seekh kebab. In fact, went back the next day and ordered more biryani and kebabs. The lamb vindaloo was okay. What I didn't like: 1. The prices on their online website menus weren't up to date. The website says $12.99 for the chicken biryani but they charged $14.99 both times. 2. Every other place that I've eaten biryani, it was served with raita but this place charges $4 for raita. Wth! 2. This place is self service. You place your order, pickup your water and glasses and silverware from a separate counter, and collect your food when it's ready. I would expect a little more.

It was our first time trying this place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Their masala chai was good just what I needed that time. We tried chicken biriyani and masala dosa. Chicken biriyani was very flavorful. Masala dosa was kinda dry from outside, better when paired with their green and tamarind sauces.

Amazingly delicious food!!! Surprisingly affordable prices in SF!! Their appetizers are so yummy! It’s a self service place which is good anyways!

This is the first restaurant we visited during our 1 week visit to SFO. Were super hungry and this place was just walking distance. Was surprised at the self service format here and was not very excited about it. Had to get up multiple times, to collect orders, to get silverware, water, drinks etc . Liked the hot roti. Kiddo loved his kabab. Chicken curry was ok. Samosa was also ok. We also tried vegetable biryani, which was also ok. So overall food is ok but nothing to be excited about. Masala Chai was too sweet. Would recommend for casual eating and probably only for Kabobs.

Everything we had was spot on amazing! My husband and I ate here twice during our two week trip to San Francisco, and we don't like eating at the same place twice during a trip! We tried their cheese naan and their regular and loved both. Their mango lassi is SO good! And their chicken Tikka masala is also top notch! My favorite sauce to add was their green one (sorry, can't remember the name!). It's very much self service with drinks and tableware, but I loved that, too as it was so different than I'm used to. Superb! Highly recommend!

Food had great taste, but wished the chicken tikka had bigger chunks. Self-serve format pretty convenient even if you’re not an introvert as you don’t need to return plates and was told to just leave them on the table.

Overall a good choice for Indian food. Service is good and food is good too. The menu is not huge but you can find several choices. I tried a little of everything we ordered: veggie samosas, lamb, chicken, cheese nan. I do not give them 5 stars for one reason: everything in the menu is spicy without the possibility to order a mild food. Many other restaurant offer the choice to pick the level of spice (1 to 10). I asked the gentleman at the cashier if it was possible to order any dish from the menu without spices (mild food) but he said it was not possible. I did my best to finish my dish but it was too spicy for me. Despite this concern it was a good experience to eat in this restaurant.

Enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, saag josch (lamb and spinach) and samosas. Everything is flavorful and naan has nice varying textures (pillowy bits and thin crispy parts). Prices seemed reasonable for the area. Utensils and to go boxes etc are self serve.

Always busy with locals (a great sign), we ate here TWICE during our visit (that says everything). One of the best Indian restaurants we've had, and we try to find a spot everywhere we travel! Great naan bread, great tikka masala, great tandoori chicken, great mango lassi, great pakora, and great dips. Seriously, all great!!!

Perfect for appetizers!! Really tasty food because it's prepared in coal oven/tandoor. All Tandoori items are absolutely recommended and one of the best I've had in Indian restaurants in the US. No need to go anywhere else. Lamb chops take 20 min to prepare. Tandoori chicken is very tender! The mint chutney is really really good (don't overeat that though). The only thing I regret is they don't make seekh kabab rolls with roomali roti (very thin roti) and they have everything to make those rolls. Tandoori roti was also perfect. Samosas were perfect here. Exactly how they should be. I ordered goat curry here but it wasn't that tasty, so try curries at your risk. They have a few tables outside where you can sit. Also, one of the staff here is from Delhi and he has a lot of experience working with real North Indian style food, so you can say Hi to him if you're from Delhi. This isn't a fast food place, so you have to wait for your food, specially all tandoori items take minimum 15 minutes to perfectly cook, so please be patient as they won't hurry for you. Parking is a little difficult here but you will find on the street in the same block or around it. It's worth waiting for parking to eat at this place.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Curry Leaf! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent suggestions for dishes that perfectly suited my taste buds. The food was flavorful and aromatic, though it leaned a little towards the spicy side. However, upon my request, they happily prepared a non-spicy version that was just as delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for its warm hospitality and mouthwatering Indian cuisine. Can't wait to visit again! The garlic naan is amazing.

Absolutely flavorful Indian food right at walkable distance from Ghirardelli factory. The chicken kebabs were tender and juicy and hands-down one the best ones I've eaten. We also ordered other vegetarian dishes like biryani and eggplant bharta which were equally flavorful. Only downside is limited seating.

Ordered Seekh Kebab, Lamb curry, Paneer Tikka Masala, Naan and Veg Biryani - All the dishes were freshly made, tasteful and sufficiently portioned. Pricing was moderate. Enjoyed my food. Self service was a really good idea considering the restaurant is fast paced.

Great little place with good size portions. Season well, Chicken ya for was amazing. Chicken Marsala was very creamy. Very friendly staff. They were packed with to go orders so be patient. I would go back again if you enjoy great Indian food.

One of the worst place i have ever been, ordered a goat curry, and it came out Approximately 2 days old even the taste was little rotten. Apparently the curry color was blackish then original. Will never recommend this place. Idk why these Desi restaurant always serve old food to Desi people may be because they know we won’t report to food inspector but next time i will. Here is your curry pic could not even ate half by 2 people.

Such good food! We got the Chicken Biriyani and the Garlic Naan. Self-service was awesome because you can just get everything you need super quickly.

Excellent Indian Food. Was the first time for my kids, and although it was a bit spicy for them, they really liked it.

The best price I've found for good quality Indian food in SF. The lassi is only 2.99 (premade, you just pick it up from the fridge), the paneer tikka masala is 11.99, the pakoras are 3.99 for 8 pieces etc. The menu is concise unlike many other places that try to do too much - there's a handful of options for each category. The samosas are medium sized and taste great. The curry was flavorful, but the paneer quality was ok - good not great. Their breads taste good (i had the aloo naan, garlic naan and paratha) but note that they don't have some traditional north Indian favorites like bhatura.
