We came here to celebrate my birthday the staff was so nice & the lighting were we sat was dim & romantic I couldn't take to many good photos because of that but everything we ordered tasted amazing! We started with the Brussel sprouts they were perfectly cooked & seasoned. Then my husband chose the pork chop for dinner & he said it was probably one of the best pork chops he's ever had not too much fat and cooked to perfection! I got the salmon & omg it was yummy! It was a nice big piece & cooked to where the skin had an really nice crisp to it! For dessert we chose the cinnamon apple cobbler & it came with vanilla ice cream! Since it was my birthday they gave it to us with a candle! Even that was delicious! The iced cream paired so well with it! I will definitely be coming back next time we're in town!!

I had the roasted chicken with an amazing lemon oregano sauce, potatoes and a course of pasta. Everything was exquisite, including the vegetables which I am notoriously against. My partner had the pork chop and some amazing white wine. Our favorite meal in SF so far!!

Loved Frascati! We’re traveling from out of town and it was the best meal we’ve had…and the service was impeccable and the owners gave a special touch for my husband’s birthday. I highly recommend the gnocchi, the watermelon salad, the steak and the pork chop. Everything was so tasty. This will be our regular spot when we are in town.

We happened on this restaurant. It was a lovely experience. Shared 3 appetizers, delicious Brussels, bread basket, cheese plate.husband had seafood chowder, fantastic! Two of us had the roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes, spinach ,carrots and the most delicious sauce. Both loved it. Other two loved the fettuccine with bolognese. Then the best apple crisp and a decadent bread pudding. Homemade icecream superb! Best of all was the fantastic charming waiter , would not hesitate to go again !

Booked Frascati after searching for a special restaurant while in San Francisco. Frascati did not disappoint. The local, small-town, home-owned feeling was evident right away; no doubt they have regulars. We sat downstairs and could see the trolley pass by. We had the Octopus Salad, which was amazing and the Fresh Fettuccine with Bolognese. It was THE BEST we have ever eaten...Fresh, flavorful, delectable. Thank you for a night in San Francisco we won't forget.

Very cute spot on a very cute street. Loved the fig jam on our burrata. Gnocchi was very homely, pappardelle was alright.

What a fun night! This was a repeat visit since it was so warm, welcoming and delicious the first time. They did not disappoint on this return visit. It definitely is a local favorite on Russian Hill. How fun to be a local for the night. Food was spectacular and wine choices divine. Don’t miss out on a true Italian experience.

This has been a favorite SF food establishment for 18 years for us. We loved coming to Frascati when we lived here. And returning after a decade of not going did not disappoint. The pork chop is still perfect, the risotto excellent, and the halibut was full of flavor and flakey light. And my wife got her long time favorite chocolate bread pudding.

Totally awesome. Quaint and quiet neighborhood restaurant. Yelp said no reservations were available but we walked in and there was lots of seating. Sidewalk was a great outdoor spot on this hot Saturday. Had great wine, delicious bread, superb garlic gnocchi and excellent lamb pasta. Many small restaurants like this serve good food but this one was outstanding. Deserts look good too but historic Swenson's is just up at the end of the block. Just saying.

We had the salmon dish and the duck. Both were cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our dinner and we will be back.

Went for dinner and ordered the scallops and brussel sprouts as appetizers. The scallops were amazing with a nice and perfectly soft texture. The seared halibut and fresh pappardelle mains were both really tasty and filling. But the service especially was outstanding - the highlight of the experience above all else.

Great little gem of a restaurant in a local neighborhood right on the Cable car route. Husband and wife owners in business for 17 years! That alone should say a lot about this restaurant in these Pandemic times. The food is outstanding, service attentive and knowledgeable by professional staff.

This is easily in the top 5 best meals I've had in my 30+ years of existence. Everything in the roasted half chicken came together in a perfect symphony that spoke to my soul. The meal had me soul searching, wondering how things like how do you get a potato to taste like *that*? Truly amazing food. But that's not all. The staff was superb - welcoming and friendly. There were great conversations that didn't interrupt my dinner but showed they were human too and cared about what they were doing. We were able to speak to one of the owners and you can truly tell it's a labor of love. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for an enlightening good experience in a comfy and welcoming atmosphere.

While walking in the streets on Russian Hill two weeks ago I came across this little place Frascati which immediatly got my attention. Later in the day I got a booking for a table and in the evening we enjoyed our dinner served by our Swiss-compatriot waiter from the Wallis with French conversation! The food, in particular the Risotto was cooked to perfection and starter and desert have been delicous. A nice and small local place in a off-touristic area, to recommend!

Came here for a light dinner and had a very enjoyable time. The restaurant has some character and good but intimate vibe. The gnocchi starter was delicious. I also tried the octopus salad, which was nicely prepared. Service was attentive.

We were very pleased with our experience! We shared the cheese plate, a salad, and a main course, which ended up being the perfect amount of food for two. The wine selection was great, and our server was attentive. The atmosphere was upscale yet cozy, not snobby which was great for a birthday dinner for two. Since we live nearby, we will definitely be back!

Frascati is absolutely amazing! This was our first time out since January of 2020 and Frascati did not disappoint. The appetizers, main course and everything was outstanding. Don't miss your chance to dine at Frascati. By the way, the cable car stops in front of Frascati. Being at Frascati is like being in a movie, only much better!

The most authentic Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the service is top notch. This little restaurant is so quaint but also so fancy it give you the freedom to enjoy a high scale meal without the stuffy atmosphere. If you want to eat like the locals, you need to eat here.
