Amazing sandwiches, the Luciano on Ciabatta was spectacular. Lots of fresh meats and cheeses and pastas. Usually very busy but somehow still great service. Closed Sundays because food and service this good needs a Holy day of rest.

WOW!! Best Italian 🇮🇹 Deli in San Francisco. Great salami, prosciutto, variety of cold cuts & cheese for sandwiches. Deli has cold, hot & Gourmet Sandwiches on its menu. Also an assortment of Pastas. (Raviolis, Tortellini & Tagliarini) and home made sauces. Abundance of Italian dry foods for your home cabinet. Fantastico 👍🏽🇮🇹

What a wonderful Italian deli. From the authentic smells, sounds, and flavors, to the perfect location, this place is one that you must experience if you are visiting San Francisco. Highly recommend.

This is not JUST any old deli. This IS THE PLACE that makes their own salami that is so amazing it’s sold all over the country. This is the place who’s sandwiches are likely the reason you came but didn’t even know it. This is the place that imports amazing products from Italy that the staff can tell you all about. First- take a number Then browse and select your wine for the evening. Then select your sandwich (read which bread choice you want as it’s the first question they will ask you) Next decide where you are eating this delicious creation. TIP: Union Square is a few blocks away and if the weather is cooperating the view of the church is lovely.

So... I really wanted to like this place. I was super stoked to try it. It's been on my list for awhile. They do have a good selection of items for grocery shopping. I spent about $65. After my tip. I ordered a sandwich because of the reviews but when I got my sandwich it was ok. The bread was dry. I asked for deli mustard. Got regular old mustard. Which I don't like. I tried to pull the sandwich apart and put it on the focaccia I ordered for my house. In short. Good store. Not so good bread. Probably better to buy bread some place else and make your own sandwich. They do have the toppings in the store. Also they gave me no napkins. Using the paper to wipe my hands

Delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Loved the Luciano special and the eggplant parm. Enjoyed looking around the small shop while waiting at all the unique Italian food items

A must try when you are in the North Beach area 😀 😎 I've wanted to try this place for years but never did until now. It was absolutely worth the wait! Speaking of waiting, this place gets busy! Make sure to grab a number, or you will not get served. I had the Luciano sandwich, and it was terrific 😋. I also had the house made potato salad and stuffed peppers. The salad was really good and the peppers were fantastically stuffed with prosciutto and cheese 👌🏽 Sitting outside enjoying this meal made for an exquisite dining experience 😋 👌🏽 😌 ☺️

I love this San Francisco deli. It’s an original that has shined brightly since I have been visiting the City by the Bay. I love the Italian sandwich.

The food was good. Bread is high quality, they get it from ACME baking it seems. Meat was high quality. It's my 2nd favorite sandwich shop after Limoncellos in SF.

Love Molinari’s and they make super fresh sandwiches- made to order. I also found the Sardinian bread I’ve been looking for. Got so lucky to find a great deli in Little Italy. They also sell wines from Italy!

The workers seemed to enjoy what they do, which is always a good sign. There’s countless different options for sandwiches, wine, and more. You can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. I had the eggplant Parmesan sandwich and it did not disappoint.

How delicious! Asked for the south beach special sandwich made with grilled rosemary focaccia. Heaven! The basil pesto spread, sun dried tomatoes, and the artichokes are all so delicious with the warm turkey slices and the crispy focaccia bread. Highly recommend.

I mean this place is a classic. Get a real feel for north beach and the deli clerks have great customer service. Since Liguria had a fire we had to get some foccaccia and it was on point. Sandwiches and cheese and meats are plenty. Love this place.

If you want an old school Italian deli with unreal sandwiches in SF, look no further than Molinari. The spicy Luciano Special is outstanding. Grab a sandwich and head to the park nearby for a prime SF afternoon

Everything you want in an Italian deli. The folks who work the counter are working hard and seem to love what they do! Get your number when you walk in and be ready with your order when they call you. (Or better yet, order online and pickup.) The selection of other Italian foods and wines is also impressive. If I lived closer I might switch out my grocer for this place a few trips a month.

Sandwich dankness! Found out about Molinari after discovering their pepperoni in a local shop and then stumbled across their shop during the pandemic and have been wanting to go every since. This is the Molinari special with provolone on ciabatta: close to perfection. Grab a number when you head in and check out the menu until your number is called. Was a bit of a line, but they’ve got a great system, so the process was super smooth.

Absolutely lives up to the hype. Amazi g sandwiches from an Italian deli that also sells meats, cheeses, and many other imported foods including sodas and gelato bars. Amazing staff. Get your sandwich toasted!

Amazing sandwiches for a great price! We were quite impressed. They also have a variety of specialty cheeses and breads. The staff are super friendly and helpful too. We will definitely come back next time we are in the city. So good!

My partner and I are on holiday from Australia and wanted a great place to eat for lunch. This is by far the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. Would recommend. We recommend new comers try the Luciano Special.

Delicious but they left the arancini ball out of my bagged order which I was still charged $6.50 for (I just got a sandwich and the ball and dry pasta) 😢 I even tipped a couple bucks on my order but left before I realized a third of the order was missing. 5 stars for food but minus 1 star for not being meticulous with fulfilling the order. I was too tired to go back and ask about it given the crowd

Such a great deli. They have so many Italian delicacies, lots of different products I never heard of. Like 20 different sandwiches hot, cold, gourmet and specials. There was a line and you have to take a number. But there were 4 people behind the counter and it did go fairly quick. Worth waiting for sure! Only con, no bathroom.
