    1) Vada Pav is bland (no salt). Nothing close to mumbai vada pav. - Vadas are refried multiple times to make it crispy. 2) Drink water avoid Masala tea 3) Deep’s frozen samosas from Indian Grocery store are way tastier than “Bun Samosa” at Curry Up Now. Very disappointing taste over all.👎🏼

Vegetarian Food Review: I was so happy to find this place on my last day in SF. I wish I had more time and an empty tummy to try other things. Alas. Loved the pani puris. The puris were really crispy and the pani was lovely. Of course I paired it with Thumbsup. I look forward to visiting it again to try other things.

Such good food. I love this place and their creative food. The Tikka Burrito is delicious, as are the Deconstructed Samosa and Pani Puri. Also, if you eat in house, they have free chai with your order!

Fast and friendly service, well priced Indian spot. Many options, including a Indian pizza creation (very good) and a couple of solid vegan choices. Recommend stopping by if you’re near Valencia St. in the Mission.

This Thali would probably be my death row meal. Such a flavorful variety, such a good deal (two meals for the price of one), and sooooo quick! And great music! Will definitely be back :)

Fun vibe, friendly service, and huge menu of tasty food and drinks. Great for groups and casual dates. We easily found space for 8 on a Friday night around 9pm. We enjoyed the vada pav, papdi chaat, deconstructed samosas, ghee butter makhni paneer, death by the tikka masala, and house made mango lassi.

First time trying them out and I can honestly say the food is delicious. 🙌🏾 I order the Meat Sweat Thali. I choose to have mine with the tumeric rice and the flour naan. They have plenty of vegan options as well as cauli rice. I ordered mine to go and it was all ready in less then 5 minutes. Very cozy environment if you are interested in eating in. They also have a nice bar and delicious drink options. Need an event catered don't worry they also have a variety of choices available for catering. For families they have family entree's to choose from as well as a kids menu complete with chicken tenders for those picky eaters. Definitely worth a visit. Update went back this am for more. I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala rice plate and the Chicken Kadhai rice plate to go. Came with free Chai. Delicious 😋

I haven't been to Curry Up Now in two and a half years. I used to visit the food truck on Stevenson Street weekly when I worked downtown. I was in the Mission and finally visited the brick and mortar restaurant. I got my usual, a paneer tikka masala burrito, and it was just as delicious as I remembered it: packed with flavor, spicy but not overpowering. It was large enough that I had plenty for another meal. I also had the complimentary chai, which came with two cookies. It was very satisfying. Service was fantastic. I'd just wrapped up my burrito and a staff member came over and asked if I'd like a box. That was very nice of her, and I certainly appreciated it. The atmosphere, at least at 2 on a Saturday, was quiet and low key. There are several booths at the front that are great for people watching, some four-top tables around the walls, and a large table in the center that would be perfect for groups. Overall great experience here. I'll have to come back with a group to try more of the chaats and other menu items.

When I went here, I got the tandoori fried chicken sandwich and it was very juicy, well seasoned, and had a nice crunch to it. The pickled onions were a nice acidic touch, but I felt that it could’ve been a bit spicier. However, the fryums that the sandwich came with were a little bit disappointing, as they were a bit greasy. Overall, it was a great experience and a special fried chicken sandwich. I would recommend trying this place to anyone in the Bay Area.

Hella vegan bowl was delicious! Expect to pay more than you initially think because of some "employer mandate" that's added twice (!) for some reason. Not a pleasant surprise. But the food was good.

About the Indian Restaurant: My experience at this Indian restaurant was nothing short of disappointing. While the lively ambiance, adorned with paintings on the walls, initially caught my eye, the overall taste left much to be desired. The place seemed promising but fell flat in execution. About the Food: The hakka noodles were rather lackluster, failing to impress in any way. The samosa chat, which I was looking forward to, turned out to be a major disappointment. Among the dishes, the dessert daal halwa was the only saving grace, offering a decent flavor. The lackluster taste across multiple dishes left me feeling very disappointed. The experience was far from satisfactory, and I can't help but give this Indian restaurant a two-star rating.

food is too spicy and not authentic, only the interior and menu design is authentic so it's a weird combo

We had really nice lunch here. The food is really good with options for all, especially vegetarians and vegans. Good number of starters and main course make it a perfect place for any meal of the day. We really liked the ambience too. Best dishes from the Menu: Kathi Roll and deconstructed samosa.

Perfect Taste for Indo-Chinese food. Best Hakka Noodles ever I found in the Bay area.
