The food was tasty. The side dishes came at different times but at least the wait difference for our potatoes wasn’t too long. Flexibility and service was not great. I requested the bar burger as I can’t eat raw meat, our server told us she wouldn’t even check because the answer was no… disappointing. A place I would recommend but won’t return in the near future :/

Morton's in SF is my personal favourite Steakhouse, especially if you are a larger group. At Entrance you will find a nice restaurant and in the basement some amazing private dining rooms, including private Bar, restrooms, etc. Food is about surf and turf in all kind of variants including delicious side dishes (such as spinach, aspargus), special sauces (I love the truffled butter) and some amazing wine. A highlight is the service, all very experienced, super friendly and fast. Price to value; every dollar spent is a good investment to a great food experience!

We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and I'm glad we chose to do it at Morton's San Francisco. Our server really made our fist experience very special, she walked us through the menu and timed our courses perfectly. Her personality really shined, we felt very comfortable with her. I believe her name is Shannon (I'm so sorry if I got that wrong) we visited 2/19 and had a reservation set for 5:45pm.

Every Birthday Dinner at Morton’s Steakhouse is Off The Chain!! I was surprised to hear they removed the 42oz Porterhouse off the menu but if you’re a Morton’s Steakhouse regular that knows that, they’ll likely find one. This time I tried The Tomahawk. It definitely didn’t disappoint. The only drawback was I was able to finish the entire steak!!! It was that good with Truffle Butter. Everything was Excellent including the wonderful wait staff who were all too accommodating like always. I’d highly recommend Morton’s Steakhouse for any Special Occasion!!!! Make sure to give them a heads when making your reservation up so they’ll know and they’ll make it Extra Special. Thank you Morton’s Steakhouse!!!

Server Juan was amazing, very nice and professional. I have been going to many steakhouses for a long time and this ranks at the bottom. My 1st steak that came out tasted Burnt/charcoaled. My 2nd steak came out and it was not cooked correctly as it was still rare. The other steak we ordered was not even cooked correctly. We asked for the manager and he never came. He sent the server to apologize to us. I would not come back here. They were nice to take my steak off the bill….

As every Morton's steak house, the atmosphere was cozy and private. Right next to The Union Square, so it's very convenient for tourists. We were welcomed by a lady that I later discovered she is the general manager, she is such a classy lady 👏. Our Waiter Joseph was so friendly with a constant smile on his face. He made sure we got the smallest oysters they had, which I think is an extra step, so thank you for doing that. Also, lady with a blue jacket, Arielle ( My apology for misspronunciation) was so friendly and polite. She helped me out with our bill adjustment. Overall, it is a good place, quality food and private atmosphere, and definitely coming back.

We were a group of five and went there for dining. We knew that the prices were very high. But for this kind of price, the service was really bad and we were very disappointed. We were also really surprised that we didn't have a choice for the tip. To sum up : really good and very (too) expensive steak with an horrible service.

As you walk to the restaurant you are greeted and lead in with a smile. Service from start to finish was excellent. They make sure you are please with everything. Food was well made, no complaints. A really good steak house among other dishes.

Morton's is one of the best steak houses in the country. I didn't say the best I said one of the best. Good:. All (4) of our steaks were cooked perfectly. The seasoning, temperature and the extras all done great. Our two family style sides hit the spot and again cooked well. Myself and friend each had french onion soup. On this night not good. French Onion soup should have a beef base the first half of the crock we had tasted like Minestrone. We did bring this up but never really got a response. A small dish of raspberry sorbet for dessert complimented the meal

Special thank you to the staff at Morton’s Steakhouse for making my 5th wedding anniversary dinner magical! From the warm welcome to the impeccable service and delicious food. Our meal was seasoned perfectly and everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and served! The entire evening was beyond perfect and we can’t wait to come back! To the distinguished concierge, beautiful hostess with the long locs, the talented Chef and our 2 servers (one of which was from Hawaii), you made our anniversary memorable, magical and extraordinary!!!! Thank you so much for an amazingly wonderful dining experience! Sincerely, Tashana & Quentin Hudspeth

Discover the renowned steakhouse in the United States and savor their exquisite selection of beef and meats. I decided to try the lamb racks, but unfortunately, they didn't meet my expectations. Despite ordering them medium rare, the meat was incredibly chewy and clung stubbornly to the bone, making it difficult to even cut through. Moving on to the seafood platter, it included oysters, shrimp, tuna salad, crab meat, and lobster. However, the lobster seemed to be overcooked and gave off the impression of using frozen lobster for preparation. The meat turned out chewy and had a tendency to stick to the lobster shell. The oysters were briny and had a strong mineral flavor. The shrimp, on the other hand, didn't possess the desired freshness and fell short in taste. Unfortunately, nobody informed us about the accompanying sauce that could have enhanced the flavor of the shrimp. On a positive note, the grilled lobster tail was enjoyable, although I personally would have preferred it slightly undercooked for a more desirable tenderness. Despite the disappointment with the meat, the wine provided a delightful accompaniment to the meal. Interestingly, my companions also expressed dissatisfaction with the beef, resulting in many of them leaving portions of their meat uneaten.

Fillet mignon is too simple taste. (There is no multiple taste like other steak) But I love the space here. Salad was great and wine was super great. :-) I ordered 1 salad 1 steak and 1 potato. It was too much for me.

I recently dined at Morton's The Steakhouse in San Francisco and I must say the food and service were remarkable. The "great service" as I'd call it, is truly commendable. The staff made sure our experience was nothing less than perfect. The "top quality of the products" was evident in every dish we ordered. The Bacon-Wrapped Scallops, which I tried, were simply the best I've ever had. The savory bacon complemented the delicate flavor of the scallops, resulting in a mouth-watering feast. Their "outstanding wine list" needs a special mention. With a wide array of choices to complement their exquisite dishes, it's a wine lover's dream. Now coming to the star of the show - the Filet Mignon. Cooked medium rare as requested, it was incredibly tender and just melted in my mouth. However, the prices do seem a bit over the top. Even though the quality and service were exceptional, I felt the cost was slightly on the higher side. It's for this reason that I'm taking a half star off. Overall, a visit to Morton's The Steakhouse in San Francisco is a must for any steak enthusiast. Just brace yourself for the bill! I give it a solid 4 stars out of 5.

Came here with my wife for our anniversary with high hopes considering the reviews. We placed a reservation for 7pm server was really friendly but took so long between orders that we didn't get our food until 8:30pm (we actually saw 2 tables go in eat and leave) we thought maybe they are really busy then I realized they close at 9 pm and we were the last 2 tables, all we herd was the kitchen staff cleaning and saw the staff cleaning up. We rushed to finish out steaks because we didn't want to be in the way ,expecting a great steak it was chewy tasteless and dry. I really hate to describe it that way but my first reaction was "wow" and not in a good way. Good thing i ordered the sauce because i just drenched the rest of the steak. I don't mind the 200$ bill at all its just the feeling of not being worth the hype. Overall I can't comment on their consistency but our experience was just average. Also heads up if you're planning on going this month, Christmas in the park floods the streets with hotdog vendors and they all have super bright light that are next to the restaurant. I changed my sitting position to cover the light on my wife's eyes, I'm sure it's not the restaurants fault just something to consider

It was a whole wonderful experience. We made a reservation in advance as you need to with this restaurant. We got a booth which my wife likes to enjoy. We chose the special 36oz steak dinner. It was well worth it. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tender indeed. The finishing touch was the peppercorn sauce we put on top. Great tasting! The tomato balsamic salad with some fish eggs was delicious, too! Not to mention the wonderful corn souffle as a side dish. Since this was our first visit, we had a lava cake dessert. All's good here. The staff was very friendly and made you feel right at home. The atmosphere was just what the doctor ordered. Great food. Great place. We will definitely come back again when we're in the City again!

Great food and great atmosphere. We dined here on Christmas day - it was rather busy but the service remained great. The prices are fair so I would happily recommend Morton's for a date night, or any special occasion. Location is great too, being so close to Union Square.

This Morton's is the furthest one away from us, but we LOVE it here and will drive the extra distance. Curtis, the assistant manager, is wonderful. He is always happy to stop and talk with us to make sure we are being provided the best experience possible. At our last visit, Devon and Santos took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. We are looking forward to our next trip out there!

1st time at the Mortons steakhouse establishment. Arrived 30min before our reservation (game3) sat at the bar then around 8:27 got to our table. I bought their version of a Tomahawk steak. The streak was de boned I'm ok with that but it was already cut in strips. I've never seen that done. I just ate it that much faster. The loaded baked potato OFF THE CHAIN DELICIOUS 😋. The overall experience was good. Just caught me off guard with the de boned and already cut in strips steak. But it was a hood meal.

Booked a reservation and waited about 20 minutes at the door to be seated. Hostess was not pleasant. Took about 1.5 hours to get our food. Ordered filet medium rare and received it blue, only to be told that it was medium rare. Sides were really good. Server was very nice but clearly waiting too many tables. Very slow service. We might have felt differently if we weren’t paying $150+ for dinner. But at this price I expect better.

My wife and I did our reception dinner here last week and it was hands down the best choice we could have ever made. This place had it all, great service, perfect atmosphere, and most importantly, delicious food. Before I talk about our menu, I need to explain how amazing it was, start to finish with the staff here. From the beginning, my wife was working with Manda, who set everything up for us, to include our own private room along with different menu plans and recommendations. Manda was able to relay to the manager and kitchen that I *really* wanted to have lobster tail at my wedding and they were able to accommodate that request. Next up, the server staff and bartender. We had Juan, Diana, and Avery as our serving staff. They were incredible. Not once did anything come out of the kitchen cold unless it was meant to be served that way, the server team was fast and efficient. The bartender Kevin was whipping up drinks for our party of 20 and had charisma for days, he was also very generous with his shots…if you’re reading this Kev next time I wish you’d do some tequila with us! Cynthia was the manager that night. Cynthia tended to all of our needs from the second we arrived. She was on top of everything. The most important part of this review that I need to stress is how AMAZING the food was. It has been a week since we got married and had our reception there and my family is STILL talking about that filet mignon. In addition to ordering the filet mignon, like I previously mentioned was the lobster tail. I grew up on a small island in the Bronx called City Island which is known for its seafood and I gotta say, the lobster tail at Morton’s steakhouse absolutely put anything I’ve ever had before to shame, it was that good. Lastly, it was awesome that Morton’s allowed us to bring our own cake, but offered a variety of other desserts that everyone loved. Next time I’m in San Francisco I 100% will be back here. I tip my cap to the staff there, if I could leave a 10 star review I would. You earned a customer for life.
