It’s a mall designed by Renzo Piano - the same architect that designed The Shard in London and The Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. Not to mention portions of the Chicago Art Institute, which i used to frequent when I lived nearby. So - in my book worth checking out for that reason alone. As an added bonus, there are some cool places to eat - such as Curry Up Now - and some decent places to shop.

Great new city center. Every weekend this month they are having holiday celebrations with Santa and a beautiful Christmas tree. Because of the way they are opening, some stores aren't ready yet but every month new stores will open up.

Hard to rate because only a quarter of the stores are open. Currently the only food options are Starbucks, Boba Guys and Fieldworks. Slanted For is supposed to open by the end of the year. There are 3 stores open on the second level and 5-7 open on the first level. There is a rolling schedule of restaurants opening with the last wave not scheduled to open until the end of next year. I understand why they might not want to open everything at one time but a whole year later seems rediculous. It is a nice open space but I cannot rate the parking. Valet parking is available.

Here from out of town and staying in the nearby San Ramon Marriott for the week. This place was my go-to destination for coffee, lunch, or dinner - it has it all. Great seating areas and atmosphere. I had a rental car but didn't hardly need to venture further than City Center, which is a lovely walk from the hotel. The shops are women's boutiques, home furnishings, and kids stores. Nothing too exciting, but the dining options kept me coming back.

This is very popular place to have a lunch. It is also a very attractive place to look at. Most favored places to eat are Mendocino farms sandwich market and World Wraps. Recomend!!

This center is a bit weirdly laid out, but I think still worth visiting. There is a cute and fun park-like setting in the center of the buildings, which is nice, but almost seems like it doesn’t belong there. Still, helpful if you have a parent watching the kids play, while another parent shops. The parking is not completely intuitive, which is what prevented me from even trying to navigate it in the first place. Once I figured it out, it was okay. The movie theater in the center is very posh, with a pretty nice dining area, that includes a patio for patrons only.

Nice little mall type area. I wish we had something like this where I lived. It had ice skating, lots of cool shops, boba, and a beautiful center. Everything was pretty pricey but it was a nice place to window shop and have a drink.

Best mall in NorCal hands down. Really great experiential retail with a really solid tenant roster. Worth coming out here from the City even.

Finally, a much-needed oasis in the area! Now locals don't have to travel into SF or San Jose to have a nice shopping center to hang out and shop at. Diana at the concierge is amazing and gave me a lot of great recommendations for lunch and happy hours. I like grabbing some cold brew at Philz and enjoying the sunshine with my new Cartier sunglasses I got from Azil at Optical Illusions. Michael over at Bamboo Sushi is a really genuine guy and helped me pick out some good sushi choices. There's so many events happening here every month, I'm excited for what else they have in store. Only bad thing is the parking, it fills up quickly, especially with the farmers market on Saturday mornings. I wish they did a better job regulating the EV parking area. I would say only about half the cars parked there are actually EV.

I went to The Lot movie theater and it was amazing! There was reserved seating, the seats were comfortable lazy boy reclining chairs. There was a full bar menu as well as a restaurant menu along with the standard movie theater classic treats. It's a classy way to watch a movie. I love the design of the mall and theater.

Cool place to hang out if you're a teenager because it was full of them. I like the layout because the parking isn't like a separate garage structure but it encompasses the shopping center and is very convenient to get from one side to the other. The storefronts are all glass and has a very clean modern look. Lots of popular restaurants but not really with the other retailers.

It’s a nice place to hangout, with lots of great outdoor seating options. However, the shops here are pretty limited, and it does get quite crowded.

We visited Bishop Ranch over five months ago. It's such a convenient place with a variety of stores and restaurants. Unfortunately we did not get to explore too much of the place. It would have been nice to have visited some of the other stores within but we didn't have much time. It's a pretty place during twilight as well with the trees lit up.

A beautiful developing outdoor mall. With some really nice family and kid friendly accompaniments like an outdoor play area for the kids I love how they have water effects and also boots that are there for the kids to wear. And also play toys. I do wish they had some more food court area options that weren't quite so fancy expensive but overall a great place. And it's beautiful

Parking is horrific. My why my credit union would choose this location with no ATM parking is beyond me

Parking sucks and people are way too aggressive in the parking structure, but once you get in, its a great place to hang out. I grabbed some iced coffee at Philz, bought a pair of designer sunglasses from Optical Illusions, new makeup at Sephora, just people watched for a couple of hours. This shopping center is on my weekly rotation.

Honestly looks sort of like a prison, but is worth checking out. However, don’t go if you’re a poor college student like me. A lot of high end stores with high prices. Boba guys is here so that’s a plus. Free parking is good, but can be confusing where since a lot of the parking structure looks the same. There is a neat area in the middle with artificial turf for kids to play and hang out. Be warned though, the mall is an open mall. If it’s raining, you might get wet. If it’s super hot out, it will be hot. Dress accordingly and you should be fine.

Love this new modern complex! The theatre is deluxe. Love all the healthy restaurants! Come here all the time to boba guys for a my boba obsession. The parking structure is a bit confusing. Wish it had more places to sit in the middle and an actual play structure for the littles would be a bonus. Maybe they can look at the Veranda for some Inspiration.

This place is awesome with a lot of great restaurants but the movie theater is extremely unfortunate. If you were to watch a movie be prepared for the waiters to interrupt you during the middle of the show to ask you if there's anything else that you need, handing you the bill during the climax of the movie, and finally trying to wave them down in the dark fot more napkins.

Why doesn't the Air conditioning work at Pottery Barn? Sunset Development needs to solve this issue immediately. It's SUMMERTIME for God's sake! That's absurd that a venue this nice can't get the AC to work at a flagship store.

I recently revisited City Center Bishop Ranch, and I must say, it has truly transformed into a vibrant and appealing destination. Initially known primarily as a dining center, City Center has now evolved into a well-rounded hub, offering a mix of retail and services that have elevated its appeal. One of the standout features of City Center Bishop Ranch is its ample parking space. It's a relief to visit a place where finding parking is hassle-free, allowing you to focus on enjoying your time rather than searching for a spot. The convenience of accessible parking adds to the overall positive experience of visiting City Center. The dining options at City Center are simply exceptional. The wide range of culinary choices ensures that there is something to suit every palate. Whether you're in the mood for a cozy café, a trendy restaurant, or a quick bite on the go, City Center has it all. The quality of the dining establishments and the diverse selection of cuisines make it a true food lover's paradise. In addition to its dining offerings, City Center now boasts a variety of retail stores and services. This expansion has breathed new life into the center, making it a more well-rounded destination. From boutique clothing stores to specialty shops, there is a diverse array of options for shopping enthusiasts. The inclusion of various services also provides added convenience for visitors. Another advantage of City Center Bishop Ranch is its prime location. Situated in a convenient spot, it attracts both locals and visitors alike. Whether you're looking to spend a leisurely day or are simply seeking a quick stop for a bite, City Center's central location makes it easily accessible and a desirable destination. Having revisited City Center, I can confidently say that it has evolved into an even better version of itself since it first opened. The growth in its offerings, including the addition of retail stores and services, has enhanced the overall experience. City Center Bishop Ranch has truly become a place I enjoy visiting, and I highly recommend it as a delightful and convenient destination.

I love this place for food options and women’s clothing. But just noticed there is no men’s clothing options. Just one store, not the style I was looking for. I was really hoping Gap would have adult clothing, but all they have is children’s. Would have to travel to Livermore or Oakland. Come on Gap carry adult sizes too. Why aren’t there more men’s options in the city center???

I love this place, my husband and I come here quite often and we can't wait until all the stores and restaurants are open and running. The star of the place for us is boba guys. We met with the GM and he's super nice!! Really cool place with big and modern movie theater and ample outdoors for children.

What a surprise! Where did this place even come from? We had the best time. Family friendly, great date night, pretty surroundings, lots of people eager to serve. Avoid Row A in the movie theater. Bring a little extra for snacks or you eat before or after in one of the restaurants. It felt like it closes down kind of early. By 10pm it was a ghost town.

We love City Center. Parking is easy. The Lot is nice. Seat Service at The Lot is slow. If you are planning on ordering food or beverages while viewing a movie, I'd recommend that you order before the movie starts. All of the shops are great, although there are still many empty retail spaces. I hope this place does not become over crowded.

Let me preface this by saying I don't enjoy shopping, however, I made an exception for heading to Bishop Ranch for the Saturday farmers market. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this place is set up for families. Parking in the garage was super easy and the family bathroom is amazing. Nursing rooms with stools and loungers, bathroom (with a stool for the kids), bean bags, books, toys. Our toddler loved it and and taking care of the newborn was super easy.

Parking is absolutely atrocious. We waisted an hour looking for parking and eventually gave up because we missed our reservation. What is the point of a multi story parking structure if they close it and say lot full, when the parking space available sign said there was plenty of parking? Don't have food stalls and a ice rink if your parking is so bad

🫤 They have T4 and one of those smaller "lame" Walmarts... but that's really it... The place is mostly parking lot and feels deserted most of the time. The worst part is the lack of street lights though. You'd think such a large space would be lit better, but it's pretty dark near the entrance.
