Nordstrom’s is closing down ; and so on a SF City Guides tour of Tenderloin , esp the superb area around union square , I took these photos to capture an era of empty storefronts within astonishingly good architecture downtown.

I had an outstanding shopping experience at Nordstrom. The store had a vast selection of high-quality products, from clothing to home goods. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to assist me in finding exactly what I needed. The store's layout was well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find specific items. I highly recommend Nordstrom for a seamless shopping experience.

It’s so sad to see this store closing for good, especially after Stonestown’s Nordstrom closed a few years ago too. Given the the store is closing two days from now there really isn’t anything worth seeing here. The store is half empty with barriers and layouts unchanged from the anniversary sale (except for the fact that most racks are empty) I’d say it’s worth showing up for old times sake but not to shop

This place is amazing. The bathrooms are clean and they smell good. The fitting rooms are very clean and fancy and I really enjoyed trying on the clothes. I also like the couches inside the Nordstrom they are very comfortable and good for reading my book.

A shopping center that is very clean you feel at home when shopping here. The place is has a very good ambience and the staffs were very friendly and respectful. They have very interesting products, and can make you return for more. The guards and other staffs are super accommodating. It observes health protocols standards since it's pandemic. The parking space is not so crowded too. I love strolling here at Nordstrom. I will recommend this shop to all of my family and friends. Let's shop.

I tried shopping for fragrances here. Everyone who uses a lot of fragrances knows it doesn't make sense to purchase a full bottle after just one sniff. The salesperson told me they only carried full-size bottles and that if I wished a travel spray or a decant, to order online 🤷‍♀️ I followed her advice but I'm not sure how Nordstrom profits from that business model? Clearly if I have to order samples from luckyscent I might as well order the full bottle from them too. The no samples policy doesn't even make sense economically given that the price per ml on samples can be set much higher than on full bottle. Fragrances is such a great way for dept stores to stay competitive against online stores, and yet they're completely butchering it.

Good store with selection depends on in store deliveries. One day they have a lot of options on other barely a few. Despite this fact, worth visiting. I was there many times in the past and never had a problem with anything, checkout was fast and professional, security was friendly, fitting rooms are clean and tidy. Overall my impression was positive, would recommend to someone who is looking to be dressed-up and leave a nice impression.

I had only been there 1 and that was a while ago. I bought perfume there and I found out it was the wrong one. I went back the next day to return for another kind, the manager on duty, was so rude told me that they can't return. I asked her, if I could speak with her boss or a number I could call. She told me she was the only one. I left the store , the receipt did not mention that perfume could not be returned. I still have the perfume , and I never went back to Nordstrom since. Nordstrom is no longer at this location.

I heard recently that this Nordstrom and the entire Westfield Mall will be closing down in the near future. It was very sad to here as I have been coming to this mall for years. This Nordstrom location boasts a curved escalator, which are few and far between in the States. I truly hope that this mall will stay open.

Don’t have any pictures of the store itself, that would be a little weird walking around taking pictures in the store. However, I have to say it is one of the best I’ve been to across the US from DC to Chicago this store is 4 stories, very well laid out, staff amazingly friendly and very clean. Surprisingly in an expensive city like San Francisco found some amazing deals.

Sales people were nice, very helpful, place was clean, expensive, crowded. Need shoes for a meeting on friday and found the perfect pair. I hope they're durable because even wingtips will be out of style before I finish paying them off. I miss tassels.

Quite literally the worst Nordstrom I’ve ever visited. Security followed me around the entire time and staff continually approached me in frequent intervals even though I said I didn’t need help. Their selection of men’s clothes is very limited and only cheap stuff (no SLP, Balenciaga, etc).

There are some helpful employees at this location, but there are also enough hip and self-interested ones to make the shopping experience less than great pretty frequently.

I wouldn't say I liked this place. But many luxurious stores and natural stores, and food courts.

Cool location- the spiral staircase is really incredible. Note that this is a shopping center- so the building says Nordstroms, but Nordstrom itself is on the top five floors. The bottom three are other stores.

I want to start off by saying I was walking through here and the amount of discouraging looks I got based off of what I looked like was crazy. I want to thank Yana S. who works in the Fine Fragrance section. I had been to different parts of the mall and other stands in Nordstrom and they couldn’t help me like she did. Everyone got tired of me not liking what they were presenting and she made sure to not let me leave without having something that I LOVE. She is amazing her customer service was impeccable and she was so non judge-mental. She made sure take care of all my needs despite what I looked like. (Which was nothing crazy I had on work attire) and made a sale in the process I truly appreciate her. Thank all employees like yana🤗 you make stores like these safe spaces for non flashy girls like me.

Average selection for a dense city location. It's clean and spaced out nicely considering all the floors. With heat rising it gets warm in here, maybe it's just me? Service was non existent on my recent visit outside the mandatory opening of a fitting room for me to try a shirt and getting checked out. No suggestions, or cross selling but I got a compliment at the least. In another department tried looking for backpacks but again no selection for what I was searching for.

Thank you Paul L. At the MAC make up counter for your services. Paul color matched my niece and treated her like a princess. He even listed the items he used on her for when we need to get more make up in the future. Not only does he know everything about MAC products but he also knows a lot about fragrances and was able to tell me about the Tom Ford, Chanel and other fragrances in Nordstrom. I ended up leaving with more new fragrances to add to my collection! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This Nordstrom location has a solid collection of clothes, and a very diverse one at that. There are brands and pieces to match any sort of style, and the employees are always able to assist you in finding something specific. Be prepared for decently high prices on some brands, and more affordable prices on others.

Do not rent from them they have horrible service they said 10 days and we can get you a new size unfortunately they couldn’t get us anything they sent us something six size bigger and it came in a wrinkle bag pictures to follow…Nordstroms black tux company don’t ever rent anything from them they’re horrible their customer service is horrible they shipped a tux in a plastic bag all wrinkly we just got it today and it was the wrong size we have to ship it back nobody from The Blackboard Tux is helpful at all I’ve called several times I’ve sent emails please if you want to have a good wedding friend from somewhere else

I don’t usually bother to review businesses that I visit on Google, but I had to make this a first. I booked an appointment with a stylist online, and while there was some confusion at first as to who would be helping me, the staff at the store were very eager to help me eventually find my way to Nick (who, as it turns out, emailed me to introduce himself prior to my appointment, but I missed it). Nick was incredible! Not only super professional in helping me find an outfit that I liked and felt comfortable in, but friendly and kind and a blast to shop with. I’m definitely glad I chose to use this service at Nordstrom.

There are various stores to choose from, very clean and you definitely feel safe shopping here. The place is very beautiful and the staffs were very polite and friendly. They have very nice quality products, that every person can return back to. The guards and other staffs are friendly. It observes health protocols properly. So, I enjoyed shopping and eating here.
