Classy venue with a mid-Century vibe. Bartenders in uniforms who make good drinks and a restroom attendant! Be sure to have some bills to tip him!

~This is a great venue to see shows, but some of the most petty power tripping individuals work the door here. It makes it really hard to want to spend my hard earned money to go see some entertainment whenever the doormen get off on power tripping. Pretty sad. Definitely not as cool as the other classic venues like the Great American Music Hall, The Fillmore, The Warfield, Slims, etc......... Lot's of room for improvement.~

This was a great venue! I went here with my friends to see Donny Benet live and it was such a fun show. The venue itself is really nice and rich with history from what I was told when I visited. I hope this place sticks around for many more decades and adds to its already grand legacy.

One of the "coolest" clubs, I have ever been to. Attended Brian Jonestown Massacre concert. Friendly staff, in black tie attire. A lot of history!!!!! Close to "little Italy".....Before the show, make sure you walk around and see/taste amazing food, in the neighborhood!!!

One of the classiest venues, totally unexpected! Sound and lights were fantastic, fully enjoyed the show here. If you get a chance, definitely see something here.

I went to Bimbos’s to see one of my favorite artists, Wallice perform when she was opening for JAWNY. I think it’s one of the best venues in the city, because it combines this old school field, with very new contemporary artists. The drink selection is a little limited, but the acoustics and the closeness you can get to the stage more than makes up for it. I would love to go back here and have a meal sometime, because it is such a cool venue. If you have a choice to see any show here, I would jump on it, because it’s one of the funkiest venues in San Francisco.

I hadn't been in 14 years and forgot how great this venue is. Plenty of space to dance or sit. They are really smart to strategically place bars around the venue. It could maybe use an update but it serves it's purpose well. So glad that it is still around and going to look at going to more shows there.

Very nice venue with seating and a standing area in front of the stage. The sound system is great, with the levels during around 105db near the stage. I found street parking easily and there are restaurants and bars nearby for pre or post show activities. There is also a coat check and bar inside the venue.

After many years of passing by this venerable San Francisco nightclub, we finally made it in. What a great time we had. Their dance floor was quite large in comparison with other similar clubs. We loved that they had bars sprinkled throughout the venue. At the bar we chose to frequent most, we enjoyed the antics of a witty bartender who took great care of us all night. The only downside, drink prices were on the pricey side. That said, we still can't wait for our next visit back, cheers!

Intimate venue, okay acoustics, friendly staff, did send a drink back because it was not made right. Otherwise great!

Great venue. Nice seated area with tables as well as a standing/general admission area. Had a lot of fun. They even brought in some snow to have in front of the venue to make things feel more like the holiday season.

Bimbo's is always great, the facility is beautiful, the employees are really nice, and sound is perfect (not too loud.)

Great venue for music and a show. Drinks are okay and the food menu is limited.

Saw Sigrid and Ber here! They were incredible and the venue was super cute. In the men’s washroom there’s a man who helps you with soap and hand towels.

Famous S.F. music venue. Amazing bar area with equally amazing cocktails. Bathroom attendant?! Good sound. Great place to see a show or just have a old school cocktail.

Great venue for live music - very classy, reminiscent of old-fashioned "ballrooms".

We had our company party here and I was impressed with the venue overall. Would def recommend for for very large parties and events in the area. Our party was Saturday night fever themed and the place fit it perfectly. I recommend it for larger events and parties.

Loved this place. Came to see a concert, really love the seating and floor set up. Drinks were good, and reasonably priced. Coat check attendant was great, and friendly. Bathroom attendant was awesome. Crackin jokes, hella friendly, and great service. If there’s a concert here, def come check it out.

The venue is beautiful and the sound system is good. The drinks are TINY so go for the beer selection instead. I tried to pay in cash and was told "we strongly prefer cards". I usually give 20-25% tip but after that remark, I did the minimum of 15%.

One of this 25 yr SF resident's favorite venues for live performances. Great drinks, not too large, friendly scene, nice stage and great sound system. And nestled in one of my favorite SF neighborhoods - North Beach so only 2 blocks from great restaurants and bars. I go there anytime I can.
