This place was beyond delicious! From the salad bar with fresh paella, arroz, beans, corn, mango salsa, and soooo much more. To the stars of the show, the wonderful multitude of meat cuts from top sirloin, filet Minton, ribs, etc; everything was delicious at this espetus location! I’ve been to Fogo multiple times from CA, to GA, to DC but this Espetus beats them all out in meat quality and salad bar! As far as the drinks, my party ordered multiple passion fruit caipirinha and a passion fruit mojito and they were all strong yet sweet and masked the alcohol well. I left filled to the brim and wondering why I over-ate to such a degree. Will definitely make plans to come back again soon!

I love Espetus! As a brazilian myself, I’m very criterious when it comes to my country’s food, if it’s not good or if it’s mediocre, I’m definitely not spending my money on it. Espetus, however, delivers a true authentic brazilian barbecue and cuisine experience while having amazing service from their staff. I feel at home and transported to a typical sunday in Brazil, with plenty of delicious food and great barbecue. You’ll have the opportunity to try a good number of different cuts of meats. Picanha tends to be everybody’s favorite, the ribs here are amazing as well, along with the garlic steak and the flank steak. To sum up, everything is really good. The hot bar has great side dishes, definitely try their feijoada, that on its own would be worth the price for the rodízio. Desserts are also very delicious, and they have great caipirinhas. Try it all, you wont regret it. It is on the pricier side but quality is guaranteed and is all you can eat, so to me it’s actually very worth the money you spend. Its a great place for your birthday, your anniversary or any other special occasion that you want to celebrate. Also would like to shout out to Saul and Fragoso, you guys rock!

Visited after a short tour of Alcatraz. We did a an early dinner and it was a quick trip with the local line and perfectly accessible. They had a special summer offering which discounted the meal but the experience was phenomenal. We received attentive service and the food was well cooked and quality. We had visited a handful of Brazilian steakhouses from different states and this one left an impression!

It's really amazing grill restaurant. Since you turn the wheel on the table to request delicious grill foods, it comes faster. I pike the foods there and perfect service.

Always an amazing experience! The waiters (for lack of the real name of what they are called) are super nice and have a good sense of humor if you can get them to crack a smile. Food was absolutely delicious as always. Ambiance is amazing, with tables nicely spaced. Definitely worth the money for lunch since you won't have a need for dinner anyway.

I wish I could’ve taken better pictures, but I really enjoy this Brazilian steakhouse. I’ve been here twice, and both times I’ve been satisfied with the food. The experience is worth the $70 for such high quality meats! The side dishes are also good, but try not to go to over board since you’re mostly paying for the fancy meats. I had to learn that the hard way the first time. Definitely a yummy and filling dinner!

We enjoy Brazilian Steakhouses and try to go to a new one when we travel. Based on the reviews and were excited to try this one. We called ahead to ask about the attire and we were told it was business casual. We know what that means, but still asked if we could wear jeans. The employee seemed offended that we asked and said “Sure, wear jeans if you want” in a sarcastic manner. Once we got there, it was clear business casual attire was not required. A better approach to this would be saying business casual is preferred, but not required without the sarcasm. While the salad bar had a variety of items, there were more starchy items (lasagna, french fries, etc) than expected. There definitely could have been more salad, vegetable, and fruit items offered. We were offered approximately 14 different meats within 45 minutes. There was inconsistency in the meat flavor. About 30% of the time the flavor was perfect. It was bland at times and too salty other times. The leg of lamb was very tasty. We were surprised ribeye was not an offering. Shrimp, however was, which is something we have seen more as a salad bar offering. There were major temperature issues with the meat. Very few pieces of meat came out hot. They were all just sorta warm. We have never experienced that before at any other Brazilian Steakhouse. Overall, the experience was average. This won’t be a restaurant we add to our definitely must go to list, but we would try it one more time to see if it was just an off night for them.

It is very pricey, but you cannot ignore the fact that you can eat all the amazing meat you want, plus buffet! Service is really great too. When you want to treat yourself and friends/family, this is an amazing spot for the carnivores!.

We made reservations and were seated quickly. We were directed to the salad bar. I liked the beans and salmon. Thought some of the food was a bit on the dry side. We sat down and spun the wheel to green so the meats could start coming. The chicken hearts and lamb were my favorites. Others really liked the bacon wrapped filet. Cheese bread was also good. Appreciate the mocktails. Brazilian mule was also good.

Delicious, lots of options of savory bead fresh off the vertical rotisserie they slice off for you. Also, the buffet for non-meat items was full of great options like fried bananas and fresh fruit and vegetables. Whatever that cheese bread is called that they drop off for you is amazing.

Still my favorite Steakhouse to go to. The one in San Mateo is also great, but this one was equally excellent. The pork belly was a new addition and it was delicious! It's expensive, but worth every penny.

Our go to place for Brazilian Steakhouse. The seasoning on the meat is the best of the local restaurants and they have the wonderful grilled pineapple. It was a little over done the night we went, but it still was a wonderful counterbalance to the rich flavor of the grilled meat. Service was very good, only issue was we could have used more drink refills. The gentlemen wandering with the meat were exceedingly attentive with keeping our plates full if not overflowing.

Espetus is a tried and true winner on the SF dining scene. I’ve eaten there at least three times and the experience is always the same. The salad and appetizer bar is well stocked. The meat is well prepared and comes out fast and furious. All you can eat. And the service is thoughtful and responsive. Even the restaurant manager looked in on our table of ten to confirm all was in order. It was. I never hesitate at the chance to eat at Espetus. And we ate there mid-week when the prices are cheaper than the weekend. It’s a hard to beat value. We will return.

We took our son here to celebrate his 19th birthday and it was outstanding! We’ve been to several Brazilian steakhouses and none of them compared. The food was excellent, the drinks were delicious and the waitstaff was top-notch. The restaurant itself is really beautiful with lots of great artwork to enjoy. When we are back in San Francisco, we will definitely be back.

It was my second time - the food quality is still good (some cuts are better than others, but the overall quality of meat is good for an AYCE), my issue was that one of the staff made the experience very annoying, started with hard push/upsell on drinks and was followed by pushing too hard to flip the table, barely after not even an hour of service (pushing dessert order on half of the table when the other half was still eating) - just not acceptable at the price point they are at (150pp) The experience was saved by one of their waiter. Without him I would not consider going back

Went for Dinner, and did not have the meat I went for, even though they advertise it on the website. I addresed to the manager and he came out with a nonsense excuse, saying that the meats are not guaranteed, and are subject to change🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ This place is also a nightmare to find parking, since it's street parking🥴🥴 If you love caesar salad, Do not even come here, cause you are not going to find it. I found this place overpriced for the quality. Not recommended!

The place has a good location but unfortunately the food is average!!! The staff don’t seem very happy and they don’t have a good variety of choices at the salad bar/meat selection. They invest a lot in ads but forgot to focus on what really matters: food and people. Price is around the same as any other steakhouse in SF and the food is really average. I understand that a 3 star may hurt some feelings but I’m being very honest with my review. 5/10.

They don’t allow wheels on the floor which is very absurd policy. We have our 10months baby sleeping in the stroller, they made us detach our car seat to put in the swing and took our stroller away just so the wheels are not on the floor, we were served to the table with the stroller and detached the car seat by the table, technically the wheels already on the floor anyway, I don’t understand why the stroller couldn’t just stay there? Totally baby unfriendly place. Definitely not going to visit again.

I've been to a few Brazilian meat places but this one has to be top tier. The staff was all completely friendly. The restaurant is super clean as staff members are constantly roaming to check in and take plates. Also saw a bunch of people celebrating their birthday and the staff sang a super cute song

We wanted to try this out since it’s closer then the San Mateo Brazilian stake house. We did love everything in this place. Definitely going back here again! Food were amazing so as everyone there!

We had lunch there and everything was very good. We especially liked the steak in red wine sauce, and pork belly (very crispy). Grilled pineapple was tender, sweet and juicy. Great salad bar has lots of choices, including baked salmon. Service was prompt and friendly, ambiance was nice. Will definitely go back again.

This was an incredible first experience for my wife and myself. We really enjoyed having different cuts of perfectly cooked meat. It was not only fresh but it just kept coming! There was never a moment where we felt like we needed to get the staffs attention. It was great. Their wine menu was also perfectly complimentary to the menu. Great place. We need to make this an annual visit.

Decided to take my dad to Brazilian steak house on a Friday night for his first time and he loved it! The staff made us feel so comfortable and our plate was never empty. We were so stuffed we shared a tress leches desert and it was delicious also. Big shout out to Espetus Churrascaria for the great food.

Excellent meat here! We enjoyed several of the cuts here, in particular the sirloin steak. The pork with parmesan cheese was also great. The buffet had a lot of nice options, though we all know that you come for the meat at this place. The service was great and our waiter recommend us to try the house Bordeaux red wine. We liked it and bought the bottle.

  • 5/5 Mascha G. 1 year ago on Google
It was delicious! The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. It is a Brazilian Churrascaria, and as such they come to your table with fresh meat on a gigantic skewer that has been seared over an open flame 🔥. Depending on the meat, poultry, seafood, or sausage, they ask you how much and from where you want to have a piece or two or three ... Even pineapple from the BBQ was served. This was new to me and I enjoyed it. You can also select from a huge variety of salads and other warm and cold side sides. The quality of the food was very good, especially the meat, very delicious - at least we liked it. We also had a bottle of nice red wine that we enjoyed a lot.

I've been to Brazilian Steakhouses before and this one is top of my list. The quality of meats, variety of sides and unmatched customer service are why. The Gaucho style serving team is a well oiled machine and you feel so cared for from Statler to finish. Proof of vaccination at the door made us feel safe and relax in order to enjoy out feast. We love Espetus!

This is one of the best Brazilian steakhouses in the Bay Area. The salad bar has fresh ingredients. The service is excellent. I enjoy seeing the different meat choices. And the servers will walk around several times. You can ask for extra cheese bread.

DELICIOUS! I don’t know where to start. The location was perfect the setting/ambiance was nice. All the waiters were nice. We came here for my birthday. It was my first time dining here and I’m happy we came. All the meat was so nice and tender. My favorite was the beef rib and top sirloin. My significant other loved the filet mignon and we both LOVED the shrimp and grilled pineapple. This place is Goodt! Can’t wait to come back.

Great Food!. Great location. Enjoyed our experience. Wish we were better informed on all food and sauce options we had before eating... Loved our Valentines datenight here.. even tho we were limited to 1.5 hours, the staff did not push us out ❤️

Lunch with friends was great. The food here was amongst the best steak and seafood I ever had. The service was top notch. The only draw back was the SF location. However, once inside the restaurant.... all was well worthwhile. Definitely will go back again soon!!!
