Hard to say if it fell off during the pandemic because I've only had takeout during pandemic and the recent dine-in. Dragon Beaux always had a good reputation so I took some extended family here when they visited (party of 6). Unfortunately, it wasn't to their liking. They said it wasn't bad but they had better for the price. Well that's a fair take from them. I prefer seafood so I'm obviously going to recommend their lobster e-fu noodles and or their golden egg yolk dungeness crab! We did have an issue with the lobster but the server was quick to address it. We felt he was pretty attentive and receptive so he saved the overall experience for us. The peking duck ended up being really salty. The skin part was doable, but the meat were low-key struggle. Overall 3.5 but rounding up to 4 stars!

Recommendation: jumbo scallop shiu mai 珍宝带子烧卖 (deliciooooous), pan sealed daiken cake 萝卜糕(they use the shrimp oil in the sauce), mango tapioca pudding (杨枝甘露布丁). The recommendations are the dishes that could be the best among the restaurants I have tried before. This restaurant also provides five guys xiao long bao 五彩小笼包 (dude I really like the translation of menu in this restaurant). Its appearance is more attractive than the taste. They have soup but not much. The holding for the dumplings is not easy to use though. I would suggest them to change it to paper only. We also tried other dishes like shrimp rice crepe roll 大虾肠粉 (the skin is a bit thick), black bean sauce sparerib 豉汁排骨(recommend to be smaller size and cook more), steamed egg yolk lava bao 黄金流沙包(the best one I tried before is at 敦城 in flushing, NY), and a special dish of cod 姜葱鳕鱼 (a bit oily). These dishes are at the average level that they are good but not amazing. Overall, great food and I had with plenty of joyness. I would recommend it to everyone who love dim sum. :) Note: If you visit there for lunch, please come before 2:45 p.m. They close at 3:00 and close kitchen at 2:45. You can order before the kitchen close and enjoy your food even after their business hours.

High quality food with excellent decorations. Service is super good. There is a waiting line on Saturday so you better make a reservation. One you are in and place the order, you will get what you ordered almost immediately (for Dim Sum). They have a way to manage the order and service efficiently. Highly recommend the Bass Dumplings.

Probably hands down my favorite dim sum spot in the Bay Area. I would prefer this over Koi palace any day! The food is delicious, you can order on the paper menu and they also come around with trays of special dishes (so leave some room in case you see something you like!) Service is great, the lines can be long on the weekend but it does move quite quickly. You can put your name on the waitlist to make things faster, there are no reservations. Highly recommend the lo bac go (radish cake) with XO sauce. If you haven’t been, definitely worth a try! It’s also one of the nicer, cleaner dim sum restaurants in the bay.

Pricey but really delicious stuff. The jumbo shumai really surprised me by how good it turned out to be. The sand storm spare ribs seemed kinda gimmicky but it tasted good at least. They close at 3pm and we showed up at 2:30pm but they were still nice enough to seat us and get our food to us really quickly. I recommend this place!

We stopped here for a quick lunch while touring SF. We had a mix of items including chicken feet, congee, durian dumplings, regular dumplings, and some fried okra. All of the food was vary good and in particular the okra. It wasn't something we commonly order so calling it out as something different.

A premium choice of the Dim-sum in the area. The traditional Southern Chinese Dim-sums are fantastic, the tea, the pork rib, the chicken feet, the dumplings, the fried things are fantastic. It's so busy during the weekends' rush hours as local families are gathering here to have chats so that a yelp reservation might be necessary. The staff are welcoming and highly efficient.

Legit spot. Went on a Saturday morning. Very crowded with a ton of families. Recommend having a reservation. There’s a parking lot on the side (paid) if you’re in a rush for parking. Recommend the signature eggplant dish.

We enjoyed our dinner at this place. No wait time to be seated. We came to the place the day after Thanksgiving. Once we placed our orders, food started to flow. We started with dimsum, and we devoured everything! Dinner was a great experience! The service was excellent. Will definitely come back.

The food was tasty, nothing, yet nothing stood out from other restaurants. This may be because I did take-out. The dinning at Dragon Beaux enhances you into an interesting experience as there is hot pot, a bar, and dim sum displayed in front of you. Good service, clean atmosphere, yet if you have a budget don’t come here.

Amazing roast pork. Amazing food. A bit pricey but well worth it! Pretty crowded when we got there. Will definitely be back! The XiaoLong Bao were delicious too!

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 4.5/5 compared to other Sf options Ordered all your traditional dim sum dishes with a group of 6. I believe the quality is as good as harbor view or better. In my mind it beats cityview. The salted egg yolk bun is top 5 I’ve had in my life. Would definitely come here again.

Very well rounded and delicious food. This place takes extra steps for good presentation compared to other popular Chinese restaurants I've been to for both the food and the design and decor. I've been here several times and the food never misses! Staff are friendly and quick.

Everything was so good! They had interesting dishes that you don’t see in other dim sum places (e.g., the soup dumplings with 5 diff colors). It’s very crowded but if you make a reservation in advance you can get in pretty quickly. Will definitely visit again!

We went to a family dinner with the kids, 8-10 years old. We really enjoyed it! Lots of dim sum types and the salt and pepper fish was great. The noodles (Hong Kong) were meh. Wings were a bit over sweet and very meaty. Best dish was the 5 colors soup Dim sum.

I thought this spot had some wide section of dumplings and noodles. I appreciated having the choice of the dumpling sampler and really loved the leak and pork one (the green one). The rest of the dumpling were 3/5. We ordered the mushroom and beef noodles and LOOOVEED the different styles of mushrooms in the dish and the tenderness of the beef. Would highly recommend it. We also got the eggplant in garlic sauce and thought that was 4/5, veggies were cooked well

Fun dining experience with a large menu, including daily special items. Friendly and attentive servers and the food arrived quickly. We tried a lot of things on the menu and everything we ordered was delicious.

Finally…a fantastic dim sum place. Ever since we lost Ming’s in Palo Alto we’ve been searching for a new go-to place. Service and food were really good. We had a wide variety of dumplings, noodles, vegetables and steamed buns. We highly recommend checking this place out. We will be coming back.

My friend recommended this place to me so my family and I went to try on the day after Christmas. We got lucky we got seated right away (my friends said normally, if you don’t come before or right when they’re opened, there’s always a line and they only take reservations for 6 people and more). Everything in the menu looks good and made us want to try everything. We ordered a bunch and liked everything we ordered, especially the crab dumplings, baked bbq pork bun, congee, fried rice and the Portuguese custard tarts. The service was also good even though they were very busy. And the price is reasonable. We’ll come back here again.

This is definitely a high end restaurant and the locals seem to frequent it often. The food was delicious. 😋 They have several items to choose from and they also offer an all you can eat hot pot option. We enjoyed the complimentary, flavorful jasmine and green tea with our meal. I will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco. 👍👍

Extensive menu of din sum and traditional Chinese dishes. Everything we had was extremely fresh and flavorful. You order by marking your requested items on a paper menu. The server then takes that menu back, places the order in the computer, and places the slip back on your table. Items are brought out as they are done and crossed off the slip. Get ready to stuff your face because it is all tasty. Highly recommend the garlic green beans as they are as addictive as crack! Good amount of on street parking. Definitely worth the trip and can't wait to go back

Went here with big family (party of 9) for dinner on Friday night in summer. Parking was tight (few street parking spots & some paid parking spots on the side of the restaurant). Fortunately, they had a big table for us and we were seated immediately. We ordered bunch of food. The portion was generous & we even had leftovers. - Roasted pork belly: DELICIOUS! super crispy skin & perfectly cooked pork belly - Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce: perfectly cooked - Spicy eggplant in spicy sauce: generous portion & good - BBQ Pork bun: my kid favorite! Soft bun & delicious bbq pork filling - Wild mushroom & black truffle fried rice: good fried rice but lack of black truffle flavor - Sand storm spareribs: everyone favorite! the meat was tender & the seasoning was on point. Each rib was huge! - Peking duck: the duck meat was perfectly cooked & flavorful. The skin was crispy. The bun was soft. PERFECTION! Overall, the food was delicious & the portion was generous. Service was good (the server checked on us several times to refill the hot water for tea). Will definitely come back for more!

    1) We had AYCE hot pot here. It was super good, but definitely pricey. The value was solid though, you could taste it in the meat quality! 2) Beef was really tender and marbled beautifully. They had lots of options for hot pot. 3) Service was excellent, we had a big party and they were very accommodating! We definitely gave them a lot of work to do but they were so great.

We had a long drive from San Francisco to Pleasant Hill so we were skeptical about doing take out, but so glad we did! It wasn’t too crowded on a weekday after 1:30 pm. We ordered our food when we got there and it took about 15-20 minutes to be ready. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant and we avoided paying parking fees by waiting at our car until the food was done. Took about an hour to get to our destination. The food was still warm enough to eat so we dug right in! My aunt ordered the Malay Okra and Wasabi Chicken and Pig Stomach. She enjoyed these dishes. We both loved the Mixed Mushroom Abalone E-Mein Noodles. There was surprisingly a decent amount of pieces of abalone. The Sea Bass Dumplings were my favorite! I’ve never had them before. The 5 Guys Xiao Long Bao was more of a novelty dish, but considering I ate it an hour later it was still delicious. It was fun to try the different wraps and fillings. The Durian Custard Bao was soft and creamy - a great way to end the meal! We don’t have dim sum like this back in Hawaii so it was worth the splurge and we would definitely go back!
