Very nice restaurant with an awesome view of the bay. The food was excellent, the wine selection is extensive and well-rounded from a lot of different areas. The food options were a great assortment ranging from pretty low cost pastas to some really high-end steak and lobster tails. The food was cooked perfectly and I believe our large party had nothing but good things to say about it from beginning to end. They also know how to make a solid White Russian! You're looking for a great place to eat that has a great aesthetic, a really neat location right down by the water and near a lot of other iconic locations within San Francisco, this is a great place to visit.

Valentine's day special menu was excellent and a great value. The lobster was huge and tasty, made correctly as in not overdone. The stuffed salmon with shrimp and brie cheese was absolutely delicious. The views are amazing. You should arrive an hour or so before sunset to get the full effect.

Has seen better days but the calamari is still done right. Service is also good and the views are one of thes best in the city. The cocktails are very sweet and not enough alcohol kick. Our order didn't come out at the same time and thus I had to have my dish held back. The fish and chips was from frozen fries and stiff and fish was thickly battered. The cobia was hard and dry and generally over cooked which changed flavor and quality of food. Oysters are sold individually which is good to get a wide selection and quantity vs a fixed type and quantity. Parking is a huge challenge and parking lots is narrow and price and often does not work when exiting so u get stuck and have to dial operator. So print receipt and save in case machine tells you its a bad ticket like it did to me.

I had Salmon with roasted vegetables and potatoes that was good but a slight bit salty. Mom had scallops and linguini that she said she's had better scallops but they were okay. My sister had shrimp with linguini with a tomato kind of base? She violently was ill later that night🤑 so I don't think she'll want to go back. Very beautiful view of the bay and the sunset. Service was very good though.

One of my favorite SF Restaurants... located in Ghirardelli Square with spectacular views of the bay!! Relaxing ambiance and great service! Went here today after enjoying a matinee at Golden Gate Theater and it completed a fantastic day! Generous libations, delicious food and outstanding service. Our Server was Kim, and he was simply the best!!!! Would recommend this establishment wherever you want a laid-back, yet A-1 service and attention to detail!

What a magnificent view! The service by their host is the best! Such a welcoming warm man. He truly made a difference. The server was just ok and the food was also ok. They have a very good wine collection. I would definitely return to this place and recommend it. The location is perfect!

We regularly book a table there on Fridays with friends. The meals are diverse, the menu is updated frequently enough. Whatever we tried was of decent to delicious taste, but the way of serving had never disappointed us. Of the dishes we've tried so far, crab-stuffed salmon, Hokkaido scallops, and NY/Black Angus steak are the most appealing to us. The dessert options are gorgeous, but we liked those most: upside-down apple pie, pineapple pie, blueberry strudel. And Keoke and Irish coffee would complete the perfect dinner in front of the breathtaking views of the SF Bay.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and good food. We really appreciated reserving a nice window seat where we could watch the sunset. Amazing view. My only complaint was the prices were quite a bit higher than when we came a couple years ago.

Definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to in my life. Our waitress was super sweet and brought out everything very quick. And really, without exaggerating the scallops that I ate… wow, maybe the best meal I have ever had. It was so flavourful and delicious I can’t describe it with words. The seafoods tower starter was also very delightful.

Fantastic food views service. All around special place for special loved ones and special occasions or just because. The prices are unbelievably reasonable for the stellar quality of the experience

We were very happy eating here. Great view and great food! The crab salad was to die for. The salad was fresh with wonderful tasting crab. We even ordered an extra side of crab to add to the salad. The shrimp pasta dish had plenty of shrimp. With the great view of the bay, boats, clipper ship and Golden Gate bridge, who could ask for more. When you're hungry for good food and a taste for SF has to offer, come here and they will take care of you. The staff and service is #1!

The seating near the window was beautiful especially during sunset... The waiter was helpful and friendly.. I had the m & k Louie and shrimp salad... It was superb the dressing had a lil too much horseradish but overall I love the salad .. the mussels on the starter list was spectacular! A must try or have again for sure... The lobster bisque soul was good but a lil too salty.

Gorgeous views, decent food. TL:DR The beautiful views are the best reason to visit this establishment. Definitely not an economical meal - and honestly the food was not as good as the price would indicate. Still worth a visit, but perhaps not more than one. Details: We ended up here on a weeknight during a work conference. The hostess was pleasant and accommodating, and even without reservations we were able to get a table for six with a window view. Our server was pleasant, but the service was very slow the entire night. My friend waited more than 10 minutes for a drink refill twice, and when we asked about splitting the checks, we were told it would be another 20 minutes if we wanted it that way. The food was good, but I couldn't classify any of it as unforgettable. I do recommend the salmon steak, and one of our table said the prawns were very good. Overall, it was worth the visit for the view alone, but if you are looking to spend $40-$50 a person, I would lean towards another establishment.

The food was very good. My wife and I both had the Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon. This is served with mashed potatoes brussels sprouts. The serving size was good. I finished mine and my wife had a little bit left. Desert was the Cheese Cake. All of it was very good. Our server, Mei, was outstanding! She was there when needed, but otherwise let us enjoy the great view and each other. Our reservation was just before sunset, so we got to enjoy the experience of the sunset on the San Francisco Bay, which was great. The price was very good for such a great quality experience.

There is good and bad. The good: the service was good and our server was polite and professional. The food was decent... with caveats. I asked for a well done steak, it came medium to medium well. The bad - we felt like after thoughts with the table we were given. Placed in a spot between two rooms and across from the stairs to the bathroom. Not much for ambience when you spend your evening aware of the coming and going of every person to visit the bathroom and also very close to the door for the kitchen. It was also so cold I had to eat with my jacket on. Overall, the dining experience was lack-luster and the food did not live up to the price tag. I have eaten at many fine steak & seafood houses and this is not high on my list of ones to return to.

That. View. Whew. It's gorgeous. I'd definitely recommend if you are looking for a great surf and/or turf experience. It's beautiful inside as well. It can get a bit crowded so I recommend going for an early dinner 3p-4pm. We opted out of dessert so we could go to the square for some chocolate. They do offer kids menus with typical kid-friendly options like cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. Sangria 10/10 recommend. My husband had a mule, which was delightful as well. Over all, wonderful experience. Portions were a bit on the smaller side, but I didn't mind because they do not starve you of sour dough bread! It's fresh and warm when it is served, which 100% is worth it.

We enjoyed this restaurant for its excellent ambience. The view was fantastic and it definitely enhanced the dining experience. Disappointingly, all of the dishes that we ordered were extremely salty which ruined the taste of the food.
