Been coming here for years but when it comes to brunch it’s gotten a bit overpriced. Chintzy portions that take way too long and will leave you needing a second meal immediately after. The menu was completely lackluster with little to no options. On the positive side; there’s an extensive cocktail list and great service. The restaurant is a SF institution, just sad that it’s pretty far removed from being anything close to one of price to value during brunch anymore.

Great experience, pleasant service, really delicious food (interestingly the food quality went up since pre-pandemic and the menu is better as well!). We had a very nice chicken soup and a great scramble. Nice outdoor terrace with shade. Definitely recommend!

Had the Flat Iron Steak. Food was great and flavors complimented each other. Live band was present today. Friends orders Brisket and Herb Chicken, and were throughly impressed as well. Would recommend as a nice outdoor spot in the Presidio! EDIT: Came again for the clam bake and lobster pasta. Super great. Dessert was also very tasty

THIS PLACE IS A MUST. Celebrated our 12 year anniversary here for brunch. Food was outstanding and service equally exceptional. Patricia and Edwin were very attentive and pleasant. The manager even gave us an incredible slice of cheesecake to celebrate.

The only thing that wasn't muddled at Presidio Social Club Saturday night was my Old Fashioned - and that, in fact, should have been. The ambience of this tucked away spot set the tone for a great meal but it wasn't to be. The meal started with two of the four people in our group ordering Old Fashioneds. There were no cherries, there had been no muddling of sugar and bitters, and it tasted like a mediocre glass of bourbon. When we politely asked to have the bar try them/remake them, we got new ones in two minutes (far faster than two new drinks could have been properly remade). They were still bad. One of us kept it and the other decided to stick to water. When our appetizer of ACME levain & Valley Ford HWY 1 “cheese toast" for $17 arrived, we had to ask for small plates. A minor oversight but consistent with the service - we were never offered a second drink, no manager ever touched our table to check in or ask us how our meal was as we left, etc. The bread came with olives as advertised but strangely four extremely spicy pickled birds eye chiles and two under pickled okra. The steak ($45) came as requested, as did the burger ($28) and scampi ($32). The swordfish ($38) came as two seemingly beaten cutlets rather than the traditional steak style and was tough and slightly fishy. The dessert was enough to send us running to a local bar to rinse our mouth out. The special - stated after we'd ordered other desserts - was bread pudding which two of us switched to. For $12 you got a dense, dry cake with a dry kind of brownie situation on top and it was all cold. Similarly the brownie came cold and dry instead of in its advertised sundae delight. For $318 after tax and tip we left disappointed and underwhelmed. Nothing about the service, drinks, or food felt special or worth the price for 4 people.

Classy Mother’s Day at the PSC. Great crowd, cold drinks, delish food. Pic is of the decadent lobster scramble. Yum!

Duroc pork belly porchetta wilted greens with house chile vinegar dip; Oak Ridge Ranch beef liver roasted with onions and potatoes, always a delight.

The food was excellent, an upscale, American dining experience. Attentive & upbeat service. Although it's been updated completely, the interior is simple, which is consistent with the buildings former purpose which was the Presidio's officers club. It's nestled by the landscape and has outdoor dining. This lends a relaxed feeling. I'm sure former officers who went to the club to blow off some steam, would agree.

Great service, cozy and attractive atmosphere, and really good (but pretty rich) food. The pistachio and honey burrata and the squash and mushroom pasta stood out to me. They do have espresso but not decaf (they do have decaf coffee).

2-26-2022 - Went with a few friends after a hike around the Presidio. The outdoor seating space is lovely. The food was ok.

Was pretty decent. Flavors were good. A little slow on the service, and maybe a tad pricey, but would return if in the area.

Beautiful bar and restaurant. Large white marble counter to have drinks or dinner. Good selection of wines. Beef liver was delicious.

There are only wonderful things to share about Presidio Social Club. From the tasty variety of eats to the entirely smashing bevvies, I’ve never visited and left disappointed (or hungry). I was fortunate to bring three longtime friends who’ve always wanted to dine at PSC. Needless to say each of them loved it. One of the women in our party is vegan and she was so pleased to find several dishes to choose from and was thrilled over her selection of Rigatoni with cheese and truffle oil. In fact, it was decided that the next time we visit we’re ordering a whole plate as an appie to share since all four of us were noshing on it. We were lucky to have a table side visit from the talented and entirely welcoming owner, Chef Ray Tang. I live about an hour north of San Francisco and I can only hope that Chef Tang will be enticed to open another fabulous eatery closer to me. But until then, I’m more than delighted to sit in the warm sunshine out on the deck with a cool San Francisco breeze, cocktail in hand, and grazing on savory bites!

Food was pretty good but very limited menu. Have a reservation or good luck getting a table. They seemed to be low on staff as everything took fairly long otherwise I would have given four stars. Outside seating is dog friendly. I had the challah bread French toast, which was really very good.

The Presidio Social Club was a wonderful surprise. The exterior is unassuming, but what happens in the kitchen is superb. Sandwiches, salads, soups, dessert - all delicious. I will definitely return!
