Great cafe to grab breakfast or lunch. The service made me feel like I was family. Great local diner with stools to order and eat at. Outside dining is available as well. This cafe provides the atmosphere and kind service that can turn me into a regular. I especially like the grill is right there so you can watch them cook your meal right in front of you. They were attentive to my coffee as well. My cup never ran dry. This is the kind of place San Francisco needs to hold on to and locals need to support. Thanks for the great service and amazing meal.

Stopped here for breakfast before visiting golden gate park and I’m glad I did!. Seating is limited to only counters/stools - I have long legs which made it difficult to sit, but I made due. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were large. I had the cinnamon French toast, 2 eggs and bacon - nothing fancy, but all tasted great. The staff was all very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended. I’ll be sure to stop by again the next time I visit SFO

I have to start this review with a photo of my cleaned off plate because that has been my experience every time I’ve been to Arts. YUM. From the pancakes to their legendary hash brown sandwiches, Arts hits the spot every time. Since moving here, I love that Arts has given me a local spot feel with the rock star family that runs the place. And I’m not the only one, other sf locals have been sending arts postcards from around the world for years. You have to go here! Pro tip is to try to go in off hours on weekends if you’re super hungry since they are in high demand and have a small space (you get to watch them cook everything!). Otherwise, take a seat, have some coffee and take a gander through the many memories arts has to share on postcards sent to them over the years. By far my favorite spot for breakfast in SF. 20/10!

One of the hidden gems in the inner sunset. Some of the best breakfast or brunch in the area. Seat is limited and they only take cash but it’s charm is all worth it. Not only that but you can get American or Korean breakfast. You can come for a brunch or to get over a hangover abs soo many choices to choose from.

Stumbled upon this little family owned dinner style place- and was served the yummiest food 😋. Everything is made to order, this family works very fast and hard....I had eggs over medium, pancakes and bacon was great, the hash browns were ok). I'd definitely recommend and will be back!!

Great breakfast, VERY friendly and kind service, charming old school diner that's family run. The space has a counter of indoor seating and some tables outside. Complete parties seated only, and at brunch time the wait can be a little long. Before 9, seating shouldn't be a long wait unless the weather is particularly lovely and everyone wants to be out. The staff are very sweet with kids in particular. Also very important: Hashbrowns are crispy and never soggy.

Good breakfast place in the sunset. Wait can be a bit long due to high demand. Recommend coming early. We had the hot link scramble and eggs + pancakes combo. Food and coffee was good. Server was friendly.

Mom and Pop joint in Inner Sunset! Staff was friendly and made you feel at home - you could tell a lot of people that come in are regulars. Their banana French toast was great! Classic diner food for a great price.

I take my kids here on regular basis for breakfast. We go about twice a month. It's run by a lovely family: parents and their 2 kids recently out of college. They're very nice and considerate. And they treat kids really well. The food is always good. This is a great neighborhood restaurant. They have traditional American food like pancakes and hamburgers. There is also Korean food, which I haven't yet tried.

Breakfast was fabulous, fresh and hot. We sat inside at the counter, and it was like seeing a show at the same time: the space between the grill and counter is small, but the staff (family) makes everything look like poetry in motion as they're making food. Very short wait to get in and there's a small (paid) parking area half a block up (plus street parking). Definitely would go back!

Amazing fresh down home cooking. But true to San Francisco there is a Korean flare here that can’t be beat. Only seats 11 so don’t wait long. Great people and great food!

The bagels were yummy and very friendly service. It’s a cute little cafe. The coffee was so-so. The latte was more a cappuccino and the mocha was more a hot chocolate. No seating inside and a bit cold with limited seating outside. Definitely would recommend for a quick bagel bite!

Love this little neighborhood diner! My partner and I occasionally come here for breakfast but sometimes around 1ish to avoid the rush. The hashbrowns here are the best - they're thin and crispy! Pancakes are also good - nice and fluffy. I haven't tried the Korean food yet but one of these days I will! The family who now runs the place are great people - def swing by! :)

A must visit for breakfast when you're in SF. The hash brown sandwiches almost convinced me to move to the city 😁 Our server was super friendly and funny. We sat outside and it was a great experience. I would return if I'm anywhere near San Francisco.

One of our favorite breakfast spots in the sunset. Spacious outdoor area, we eat here most weekends with our toddler. The hashbrown sandwich is a must!

When I saw a choice of one of my breakfast sides could be steamed white rice... It was OVER. I love rice my daughter loves bacon, rice, egg whites, with soy sauce. They had it, never been anywhere else where it just all worked out. It was delicious too. This is just a hole in a wall type setting so we ate outside. Our server was also awesome. Forgot his name, but he had glasses. He was very genuine so I really liked that. Would definitely recommend and come here again. Large portion for cheap prices.

Be prepared for long wait on weekends. Didn’t quite enjoy what we ordered as they were overly done. There are some interesting and appetizing menu items.

Art's Cafe is located on the Parkside neighborhood of San Francisco. The Cafe location is located near Golden Gate Park on 9th and Judah. Art's Cafe is a small 10 seat counter top diner. I particularly appreciated the fact that Breakfast is served all day as well as Lunch. However, all day means 3:00 pm closing. I ordered a BLT sandwich with crinkle fries and i enjoyed the sandwich. The sandwich ingredients were fresh and plump. The crinkle fries were crunchy the way I liked them. My friend ordered a Hot Link sandwich that was topped with Mushrooms, Onions, and Tomatoes. The coffee was commercial grade and tasted grounded. I recommend a visit.

I just had my first breakfast at this wonderful little diner. The first thing I will mention is the customer service. The people that were behind the counter were so friendly and polite. Then came my meal. Wow. Everything about it was great. The hashbrowns were crisp and the sausages were juicy and the eggs were cooked perfectly.. I truly fell in love with this place today.

Small family owned diner serving great American Korean breakfast staples. I’d say it’s great hangover food. If you love diner food, this is the place. Love sitting by the counter and see the chef cooking delicious portions of bacon and hash brown while sipping coffee. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I have been going to this diner for a couple of decades. It is my go-to place for breakfast at the Inner Sunset. It's also where I've developed my love for hash browns. Besides the one row of counter seats inside, now there are outdoor seatings at the parklet. I last went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. First come first served. Thankfully, there were open tables at the parklet at the time, so we were seated right away. Service was great. The server even gave me a fresh cup of the tea to-go since I didn't finished the one at the table. 😀
