This review is based on takeout pizza and not on staff. We got 2 pizzas, 1 gluten free, the other normal. Toppings are irrelevant, but the pizza is barely edible. I'm not sure what people are talking about how it's so great or when they recommend it for Brooklyn transplants. It's nothing like Brooklyn, it's nothing like Italy, it's American mush. It's also quite expensive. Disappointing on all fronts.

My family has been going here for over 30 years and the inside looks the same!! Due to COVID, they seem to only be offering takeout but you won't be disappointed. Top quality pizza and such a friendly staff! Leftovers are so appreciated when heated up to the crust crispy for that crunch! Thank you for still going strong

Nice place, clean, charming. Price is good. No parking. Two things made me not want to give five stars: 1. pizza is good, but there were too little pepperoni on it; 2. the knives don’t cut.

This place was my favorite pizza. Been here for years serving the community and spreading their fine food and good cheer. Place is always busy with the locals and a popular spot for the younger kids as well. Love that they do a different thickness of crust to order!

I cannot put into words how delicious this was. I honestly only stopped here because I went to a place for some fresh pasta noodles in the area and saw there was a pizza place close. Knowing it would be late by the time I got home I picked up a pizza. I am SOOOO glad I did. I will drive all the way from South Beach for this pizza. The sauce, crust, toppings, topping selections, it was all so good.

Giorgio's is a childhood restaurant we ate many pizzas at since it was around the corner from our house. It has been condensed in size to allow for delivery and take out service which was very busy. Not many tables so we waited for about 15 mins to wait for a table for 7. Some of the dishes were spaghetti and meatballs, Mediterranean salads, garlic spinach, pepperoni pizza, vegetarian lasagna, and the Divisadero calzone. A great way for family to get together. We will be back again.

TLDR: New Yorkers and Italians beware - these are not traditional calzones… 😅😅😅 Positives: customer services hospitality, work ethic, atmosphere all great for a no frills spot. You can tell everyone worked hard especially in the kitchen! so kudos to that!! My husband and I are from NY but have been in SF for a decade. We finally tried this local spot expecting food and service quality like at Gaspare’s— mom and pop feel, no frills, home style dishes. ❣️ Sharing my honest and personal opinion. If you love this spot then yay! 👍🏼👍🏼 We felt misled by the other reviews on here so I’m hoping others will find this helpful! Honest review: 1. Their take on calzones are unique; multiple sizes, you basically get a folded pizza, turned into another pizza? (pictured) 2. Pizza sauce was okay — we tried a classic pepperoni pie. It tasted like a Lunchables or frozen pizza. 3. Dough is fine. 4. We shared a baked penne and it lacked ricotta but overall was tasty. Nothing crazy. 5. I think the server could be more knowledgeable or caring about advice; we asked her about the calzone and couldn’t really say much i.e size recommendations. Finally, it’s very pricy!! For the quality of the ingredients, overall taste and execution… shocking. But i get it - times are hard. Interesting that people say it’s family friendly?

We had a great night out! My parents use to take me to this place as a kid the atmosphere was the best part. The place was closing soon and they let us sit anyway. Great service great people great food. We will definitely be back. We will go earlier in the evening, next time.

We had half a Hawaiian and Pepperoni pizza which was ok but not outstanding. The G Mediterranean salad was very tasty. The service was fast. The ambiance was a bit loud and had a burnt smell since we walked in. We decided to stay since we were tired after having visited the Legion of Honor museum on a Sunday afternoon, but would only visit again if I’m in the neighborhood but not make the trip there on purpose.

The pizza was good, it tasted good, it could've been crunchier and cooked a bit more but that's how I like it.

Finally they reopened their dinning in , used to to come to this place a lot then pandemic hit and they were only take out for soo long , love the food fresh as usual friendly servers, parking is kind of harder to find around but it’s SF just park a block or two away and walk , was there on mothers days many families and kids friendly with warm atmosphere, clean remodeled restrooms , will be cool to have some Italian music played i think to make it feel more authentic atmosphere, happy to be here again and miss all my goodies

I was visiting from out of town and had a late lunch with a friend. We shared a personal pizza as an appetizer then each had a main dish. Food was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. A casual pizzeria type atmosphere. This business seems to do a lot of take out. We enjoyed our visit. A great choice for Italian.

The BEST pizza I’ve had in the west coast so far!!! Coming from someone that used to have NY large slice pizza everyday for lunch. This is one of the best yet! Freshly made pizza where the crust is in between soft and crunchy. The ingredients (chicken and green pepper) also tasty! Staff is nice too, came around to ask how we thought of the food 👍

10/10 restaurant. Everything tastes amazing, and i love the small family owned feel. Everything has thought and care out into it, and I can really tell. Also great gluten free options!! (Both Pizza & Pasta! Will definitely return.

Fantastic pizza! House made sauce, crispy thin crust. Great service too.

Good quality pizza. The cheesy pull of the freshly baked pizza is to die for.

while this has been one of our staples for delivery during the pandemic. it's only recently that they have reopened their dining room with a revised menu, which provides a very simple method for creating your own pizza or pasta. selecting size, ingredients, sauces and toppings. have always worked for pizza. worked well for pasta too. service was delightful and the food was as always stellar

“I was taking a walk around Golden Gate Park with some friends and we decided to try this pizza spot. We couldn’t have been more disappointed. Almost $40 for a pizza that was soggy, undercooked, and lacking in toppings. The staff kept lying to us about when our food would be ready. Floors were dirty and sticky. Definitely get the sense that workers are mistreated and understaffed here by the rude manager. My recommendation is to try anywhere else other than this overrated and overpriced pizza joint.”

Giorgio’s has good no thrills pizza (typically). Pizza has been delivered less than warm the last two times (bummer because i’m 8 blocks away and it not cheap with a tip etc). It also hardly had sauce on it the last time. Other bummer is that they use packet ranch now, but what can ya do.

Wow i was surprised! We went there only because it was close by and we didn’t have anymore time however it was pretty much full but luckily we were able to sit down. I didn’t have much expectations as it looked a little like a glorified franchise pizza place, but I was wrong. I got the fussili pasta with a rosa sauce and it was prepared pretty much like what I would do at home served “al dente” and the sauce was perfect! My daughter ordered pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It wasn’t quite like a pizza you might have in Italy or in the south Switzerland but it tasted so good...in between thick and thin. I don’t think I would go there to get an elaborate salad and I think they could improve their drinks making maybe homemade lemonade with mint or something a little bit more modern but otherwise it was great.

The gluten-free crust — I got a large — was really quite excellent. It wasn’t too crispy, and it wasn’t soggy. That’s a hard balance with GF crusts. Their order time estimate was also spot-on, and I wanted to eat my entire pizza sitting on the sidewalk as soon as I got it.

We've gotten their pizza for pickup about a dozen times this past year. Always hot, always fresh, great thin crust, thin, chewy, perfect. Out of 12 or so visits, we've never had a problem with a lost order. No complaints, would recommend!

Went to grab spaghetti for lunch, online order said it would be done at a certain time but the food wasn't ready for another 30 minutes. Just advise when the food is ready and don't try to estimate the completion time if its going to be that wildly inaccurate. Never mind the fact that my order came with no utensils or napkins to eat with at all and that it was quite possibly some of the most bland spaghetti I've ever had in my life. The pizza may be good here but I don't think I'll ever come back to find out.
