WORST MEXICAN AROUND. Ordered and paid $80 worth of food they have GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE and refuse to refund me or re make food. Got a refund with my bank later on. NEVER AGAIN. Employees are also clueless they do not know where they are

Ordered delivery from here. Huge mistake. Nearly $40 of food and not one stinking drop of salsa, hot sauce, nothing. The bean and cheese burrito tasted like fish. DISGUSTING. Threw it in the trash. Everything tasteless and horrible. Crispy tacos soggy and gross. Don’t even think about it.

This is a place for a quick bite to eat. The green salsa is a little spicy but delicious. The pico de gallo. The pinto/ beans were good 👍. The carnitas were not dry. This was a place for after a hike. To get a quick bite.

Gordo has been my nostalgic eats since the 90s. Go to has always been super burrito with carnitas (or pollo) with no beans and extra hot sauce. Comes out to around $8 Another one is the quesadilla is delicious the way they do it there it’s not what someone would typically imagine (if Taco Bell was the base) Though all the locations have the exact same menu and pretty similar taste… personally I feel the one on 23rd and clement is the best one despite being the smallest location. Parking in the 9th Ave area also sucks so you’d have to be in the area, take muni, walk or bike. Golden gate park is right there so you can get a burrito to go then walk and eat it in the park.

This Gordo is a place I’ve been visiting for a long time now, and while they’re not the best taqueria in the city, they’re still quite good, fast, and convenient. The burritos are, as per the name, hefty and tasty. The interior may not be the nicest, but as far as take out Mexican food goes, Gordo is my gold standard.

This Gordos restaurant on 9th Avenue used to be a nice friendly place many years ago. Unfortunately it has changed like a lot of places in San Francisco. The food is still good, but the staff at the front counter seem very rude all the time now, and that could be why I don't see that many people when I come in here. I'm not going to be coming back to this place anymore since it's clear to me that the good vibes are now gone.

Tacos here are amazing and best value. The cooks work hard, make sure to tip them, they deserve it.

Love love love this place. Not your typical dry burrito. There’s someone special about getting the grilled chicken burrito with extra pico de gallo. I normally do take out.

Eaten here numerous times. One of the best for Mexican cuisine in the Sunset. Close walk to Golden Gate Park. The taco’s are my favorite and they’re not expensive. But then again who doesn’t like tacos.

My favorite burrito in S.F., hands down! On a nice day, get it to go and eat on the bleachers at the baseball field in Golden Gate Park 👍

A great, no frills taqueria. I always get the carne asada and I love how thin their tortillas are. They are always stuffed just perfectly and the people are super friendly.

If you need cheap eats near golden gate Park, this may be the spot for you. They have pretty good prices. Go up to the line cook counter and order what you'd like. If you're dairy free make sure you specify right away or you'll get cheese on your items. Good standard chips.

Great neighborhood spot to grab a burrito for a picnic lunch in the park. Tasty fillings and great chips and guac for a moderate price. Nothing fancy, just good food.

My oh my... Such HUGE portions. Despite being fast food, this was good! Friendly staff, eager to explain what was in each of the preparations. Tasty food. Ridiculously large portions. Very good!

Small tables. Small stools. Carnitas meat was mostly dry & tough. Paper straws. Inaccurate order. Will try a burrito, next time. No parking lot.

Gordo has been my favorite burrito place for… omg.. 30 years. I’ve tried many others, but none have been as good as Gordo. Everything tastes fresh and I love the char on the grilled chicken, which takes the flavors up a notch. Great hot sauce and fresh pico, too. Highly recommend. :)

This place is so good! Open during the pandemic for to go orders (June 2021). I had the chilli Verde. The guacamole is superb at this place. We got 1 pint of guacamole. I would go back to this place especially because the staff was super nice and friendly.
