Have been ordering sandwiches the past few months and they are outstanding. Lucca is very consistent. The sandwiches always arrive just as ordered. I'm always angered when my food is incorrect. That has never happened with Lucca. The sandwiches are well crafted and always tasty; loaded with meats, cheese and condiments. They don't skimp on anything. Their sourdough rolls are scrumptious. Lucca is a sandwich lover's paradise.

There is a guy in there that's so fine and so sweet and he's very talented when ever I'm down which is most of the time all I have to do is look at his chalk drawings and they help me smile it's temporary but I love art in any form 😂

I love this place! I order the hot pastrami. I am KETO, so I ask them take out all of the meat of the sourdough bread and just use the crust it is absolutely amazing!!!! I'm back again & I still love this place! The macaroni and potato salad are super 😋 Today I picked up a Pastrami and Cheese Lettuce Wrap mmmmm crisp, fresh and bursting with flavor!

I just ate an amazing sandwich, out of this world good. Best secret in San Fran! Beer selection is good and even the new guy was friendly and polite. I love it so much in this community. It wouldn't be the same without you guys!

Visit this place daily. They have amazing sandwiches, great variety in product (lots of it locally made), and an awesome staff of friendly people who are a joy to visit. Lucca is the best convenience store around. I wonder what happened to that girl Felicia who worked there? She made the best sandwiches I ever had.

Excellent deli variety at unbeatable prices. Great Italian sandwiches for under $9. Along with tons of other sandos. In addition, store is stocked with beer/wine/booze and other convenient store items.

Top sandwich shop in SF. Pastrami sando is for sure a highlight on the menu. Decent beer selection too including a few locals beers. Went here easily over two dozen times for work lunch over the last year

I go here all the time as I’ve lived nearby for over 6 years. The place is always clean, the employees are always nice, and they have a good selection of items. Can’t really ask for more! Remember: you can tip when you check out. The employees put themselves at risk of COVID, so, yea, tip. :) :)

I've been sporadically coming here for years for mostly small grocery items, but while walking to get some pizza, an enticing smell emanated from outside Lucca's, prompting me to order a roast beef sandwich instead. Suffice it to say, I'll be coming back for the food here again! Oh, and they also sell Asahi beer, which may be 1 of only few places in The Sunset that does.

Pretty decent sandwiches. Had the pulled pork with provolone on Dutch. Only reason for the rating is because the gentleman got 1 of the 4 sandwiches wrong even though you check the boxes on the order form. But the employees were nice and the store has a pretty decent variety of drinks. Can’t miss it since it’s right on the corner. Great location because you can explore a few other shops.

Stopped in for sandwiches with my daughter. Best sandwiches in town. Spicy Italian with gouda is my favorite. Fresh sourdough roll and fresh produce. We ate outside at the sidewalk table. Will definitely visit again soon. Thanks Lucca's.

I can't believe I never tried Lucca's sandwiches when I lived in the Sunset circa 2013. What a miss! We recently moved back to the Sunset and wanted to continue our Friday sando + boba lunch tradition we sustained during the pandemic. I've gotten the italian combo and veggie sandwich, while hubby has tried the meatball sandwich. All of them are delicious and the prices are great! I also love that it's a family run shop and the owner couple are super nice. So glad we have a go-to sandwich spot!
