Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life visiting the Zuckerberg hospital. Had high hopes since I live 3 blocks away, the convenience. I came in for what I thought was a trivial problem and an easy fix, a small fragment of contact lens stuck in my eye since Saturday.(yes I tried the recommended remedies, they usually work but not this time). The doctor (not an eye doctor by the way) kept asking "did you visually observe a broken contact lens coming out of your eye”? I said “no, but there’s a small broken piece of contact lens stuck in my eye”. Then she went back to the question again. “did you visually observe a broken contact lens coming out of your eye” I said “no, but there’s a tiny fragment of contact lens stuck in my left eye.” This went on over and over, until I humored her and said yes, I observed it. Then they threw me out or the hospital. What the F is wrong with American hospitals. 😡 And yea, still stuck in my left eye. Hope I won’t wake up partly blind tomorrow. I WILL sue.

Update: 20 July 2022; Monkey pox vaccine being offered but long lines! Call before you go! We heard that this hospital was offering "booster shots" for anyone receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine so we made the trip. It's a beautiful hospital and very busy with construction going on for a new addition.  The wait was over 2 hours but worth the wait before the big rush to get the booster.  The staff here is friendly and helpful.  We were treated well during our visit. Not a fan of the person who's last name is listed for this hospital. July 2022: Once again this hospital steps up to provide monkeypox vaccines for people who need it. August 2022: vaccines for monkeypox in short supply but have requested more from supply chain!

Saving lives is a God-sent gift. When ones life ends unexpectedly under medical care, this can incite anger, confusion, blame and grief. Zuckerberg medical staff did all they could. And my loved one still transitioned. 2 neurosurgeons 2 blood clots Severe stroke Pre-existing medical circumstances all came to a point where life could not be preserved. Every medical person and chaplain and social worker was Compassionate. Affirming. Accommodating. Communicative in layman's language and medical professionalism. I was waiting on a miracle from man's hands. I was waiting on a miracle from heaven. I was waiting for a clear & outstanding signal to comfort my disorientation. After I tearfully and anxiously read the 200+pages medical record my spirit was confirmed they did everything to try to save my loved one's life with as little and as much invasiveness allowed in hopes my loved one woukd have an expedient and hopeful recovery. The doctors even preserved not sharing how quickly my loved one was slowly becoming more illed. I saw the liquids changing color, and the Docs didn't want to psychologically influence me to make the most difficult decision a family member has to make. Machine living with no life. Or no life. And God spoke. From x-rays, to treatment, to invasive procedures. Man did what man could. And God did the rest. And my loved ones soul is resting. Like mine. Free from distraction of "what if's", "maybe's'" and "do more." "Words are our breath. When you speak, use your breath to speak words that inspire the life force of another's soul."

I went to this hospital this morning, and the treatment that I received from this African American mixed young female doctor was a total disgrace to this hospital. First of all a little history of myself. I was born in San Francisco Ca in the 1950’s at this same hospital. I have always been proud of this city and always felt like SFGH had the most educated, loving and caring doctors ever until it all changed in a manner of 6 hours today. I had been throwing up since last month with only two day break. I listened to people telling me to go and get checked so I did. I went in at 9:45 thus morning. Seen her one time in the 6 hours and all I needed was a cat scan which was never performed because it was never ordered to be done. So as you see nothing was done and as I was leaving the building, who do I see walking back and forth on the overhead ramp that goes from building 25 to building 5, that same doctor who never even bothered to one back to finish treating her patient, but had more than enough time to be on her phone texting. I am reporting this because SFGH -Zuckerberg will never be the same hospital it once was because it has become a business now, so if you are expecting to go there because you are sick or have medical problems, then you might as well prepare yourselves to die in the Ghetto, that’s just what it is now. You better believe I will not be dying in that ghetto which they call a hospital. So embarrassing to even tell anyone I was born there, totally disgusting and a shame to call this place a hospital

study the surveillance. surgeons come in from countries with bias. this affects surgery outcomes and post surgery care. they do not bring in medical professionals from countries with better training (Finland etc) or more developed societies so the organization is not aligned with their politics or values. it only adds more obstacles due to the hiring decisions technology is not accurate and creates violations or encourages bias. some staff seem ostracized. sfdph directors can insert false statements which protect their performance record but is not true. their failure to call on time for remote appointments is noted as the patients fault. despite phone records to prove otherwise (that the patient was waiting and md never called in time)

This was the worst hospital experience I’ve ever had. The staff is ridiculously unprofessional - I thought to myself, this must be the wrong industry for these folk. ER staff was huddled around one staff members phone for about 15 min while I was in my hospital bed waiting for assistance. The nurse who finally assisted me was extremely rude and was clearly experiencing compassion fatigue, while another mandated I have a mask on when he himself wasn’t wearing one, and I was the patient… in the ER, long after the mask mandate was over (???). Highly suggest going to any other emergency room rather than this one - if possible. This specific trauma center is a disgrace to the medical industry.

Worst doctors in the emergengy, no competent, they lacked knowledge and experience or they are unwilling to make an effort to diagnose the issue. They rushed me to go home without providing any answers regarding my health issue after some blood tests. They simply told me that I didn't have anything wrong, but a week later, I discovered the underlying reason for my health problem after consulting a different doctor.

This hospital will do everything possible to steal your money. I have an insurance coverage and got a small cut on my foot (~1.5 inches). Not only that they charged my insurance around ~$8000, they're going after me for an additional $2,000 for a simple set of stitches and terrible service. STAY AWAY!!!!

I don’t recommend this hospital, I lost my first baby at 36 weeks and 5 days (stillbirth) because lack of prenatal visits, even though I was a high risk pregnant women they gave me appointment with one month to 5 weeks gaps in 5 M women health centre at ZSFG hospital. I had to call many times to get prenatal visits and my baby died inside me and I was almost full term. They are very careless in 5M women health system, I don’t like anyone gets my bad out come please take care of yourself and your baby.

I was waiting in line for a blood test at the Phlebotomy lab when two older women walked in after me. There was a limited number of chairs, so I stood up and suggested that they sit. Apparently that means giving up your place in line. I was told that because I was standing and not in a chair (which they did not have enough of) that I forfeited my turn and had to go to the back. This is after waiting behind at least 7 people, and now I was meant to get behind 3 more than came in after me. Was told it was a form of organization. Sounds like there needs to be a change in organization if they can't keep things straight for themselves. Thanks for nothing!

I took a friend of mine to the emergency room and we waited for 2 hours, then there was no doctor, but he will come in 10 hours. It's like a joke, you are going to the emergency room at night and there is no doctor, then why are you in that hospital? Doesn't anyone control this hospital service? sleeper control unit where are you? We cannot find a sick doctor in the hospital. Is this a service to humanity? pity pity

In my emergency visit Left me in a wheelchair without any guests because of "covid" for 6 hours. I had to hop on one foot to get the the bathroom (since the wheelchair isn't for the user to use but for a 2nd person to use) staff wouldn't get anyone water or anything even though we were all literally immobile and in severe pain. Then they had the audacity to charge over $4000 for 2 ibprophen pills, an orange juice, and an Xray. They didn't even wrap my foot in a brace, they gave it to me and said you can do it. Charged my bill for a moderate complexity visit even though I saw the doctor for LITERALLY <2 minutes. Very complex for them I guess. Don't go here. Better off driving all the way to oakland and going to alta bates. Trust me.

I was seen at the emergency on Saturday night I’m from out of town and chose this hospital on a whim I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital the wait time was pretty fast, the staff was excellent everyone I came in contact with they made me feel like they cared and they were very nice from the beginning to the end these are the type of doctors, nurses etc that belong in this field of work. I’m glad I chose this hospital out of the rest. Nobody likes being in a hospital, they made my experience that much better. Thank Zuckerberg San Francisco hospital staff for being so kind and caring to me.

Very expensive government hospital. I was at ER for like two hours for high blood pressure. They did EKG, Xray and blood work and the result was okay except for the bills/charge amounting to $13, 745.00.

The nurse at check in at the entrance for the intensive care unit was horridly rude and a nasty attitude overall. I was not reciprocating her demeanor, I showed up a couple of minutes before visiting hours ended. And without a further explanation she simply yelled out and repeated “11 to 6!” About three times before her coworker stood up from her seat and walked closer to the rude employee, again I was asked what I was there for, I answered to visit, and that is when she went to raise her voice at me and communicate in a unprofessional manner. Please put someone at the front check in and or reception desk that can tolerate or doesn’t mind providing customer service without taking out their frustrations out on patrons. I believed my friend when he said some nurses who had helped him where nice and worthwhile mentioning but I could not believe what my friend had told me about the nurses who are outright incompetent, ignorant, rude and vexing. This isn’t the only hospital to have employees like this, not particularly saying this hospital and this hospital alone has bad employees but one I have visited myself and now this one are on that list

i have never had a worse experience with rude nurses at any other hospital in the country. we were in the ICU today (6/5/2022) because my partner was a victim of a violent crime, and when i asked if we could get a wheelchair to get him out of the hospital when he was released (they tried to release him naked, and with absolutely no wound care instructions) a female nurse of indian descent angrily told me “you’re not the only one we’re working with here” which is not only an unbelievably insensitive thing for anyone to say to the family of a crime victim with a stab wound, but for a nurse to be that rude was just unbelievable. she also wasn’t even his nurse. she peeked in from the room next door to be that unreasonable toward us. and that’s just the most ridiculous and rude thing to happen. not to mention it is a CORE VALUE in nursing to give verbal and physical discharge instructions, which we didn’t receive. i understand they have a difficult job .. especially now with covid, but there has to be some compassion for those of us who have had the worst couple of days of our lives and end up at the mercy of these people. to that nurse specifically, you work in the INTENSIVE CARE UNIT, for pete’s sake. grow up and do your job or find a new one, because you are terrible at being a nurse.

I went to the ER here about 4 months ago due to fainting. At the time I didn't think much about it since this was the closest ER to me. I had a quick minor surgery there. The experience here was excellent, but the price was ridiculous. I'm thankful for the treatment, but in hindsight I really wish that I went to a different ER. I was charged around 95K for a laparoscopic surgery that should've costed far, far less. I had two insurances, yet the two only paid around 21K so I think I still owe over 70K but am not quite sure. And communication with the hospital has been really complicated. I've asked if the price can be reduced, and they've said vague things like maybe if I send more of my insurance explanation of benefits results they can reevaluate, but that so far hasn't gone anywhere.

I had a fantastic experience in the ER last night and wanted to share. The nurses were super kind and even took steps to make sure I was seen as quickly as possible. They went above and beyond by coordinating with other departments quickly and everyone who spoke to me was nice and doing their best to help. From the folks doing registration and triage, to security, to nurses and providers it was an all around good experience which is rare to say for a busy city ER!

Posting about my personal unpleasant experience in the emergency department of this hospital. The article is a bit long. Thank you for your patience in reading it. First: On April 28, 2020, my husband suddenly suffered a stroke and went to the emergency room of this hospital. They did not return the phone. Second: At about 7 a.m. on December 30, 2023, the 911 emergency personnel sent him to this hospital again. In the emergency room of this hospital, some medical staff were very rude and played with their mobile phones. His family asked her when someone would call her. Let me tell you about the patient's current condition. Because my husband can't talk or walk and has a low IQ, the medical staff who was playing with his mobile phone at the door of the ward was a foreign woman and answered me unhappily and told me to wait and someone would be here soon. , I waited for about an hour and a half, but no one paid attention to me and my husband. When I asked her for the second time, she said unhappily that she would wait a moment. She was still playing with her mobile phone there, and another half passed. A few hours later, a Chinese woman who spoke Cantonese came over. I told her that my husband had not eaten or drank for two days and should I give him some salt water. She said that he had been given three generations of water, but I saw that there were indeed two bottles hanging on the shelf. The third generation saline solution was not used by my husband because his blood pressure was very low at the time due to lack of water. I asked this Cantonese-speaking Chinese woman, you have given her an intravenous drip of three generations of saline solution, why there was no urine in the small bucket he was urinating in. She told me that it was because my husband was severely dehydrated and had absorbed all the urine. I was confused at the time. He was so dehydrated. Why don't we give him some saline drip now? She was unhappy (the Chinese woman) and told her manager that I was harassing her. The patient has been in the emergency department of your hospital for a day without telling his family what happened. The family members went to the hospital emergency room and waited for two or three hours without being attended to. Instead, they complained about harassment. After a while, a foreign woman came over to me with her hands in her pockets and told me that I was harassing their nurse. I left immediately and talked about a lot of topics that had nothing to do with work. She said that their hospital was run by the government and only treated gunshot wounds and serious patients, etc. She kept the government brand on her lips and said, this Do you want to demonstrate to your family members? More than an hour after she kicked me out of the door, one of my husband's doctors said that my husband was very seriously ill. When I went there, I already discovered that my husband was severely dehydrated and his mouth was chapped. He could not speak or ask for water. I asked them to transfer me to another hospital immediately, but they disagreed. Anyway. I have completely lost trust and affection for individual medical staff in the emergency department of this hospital. It's very rude and irresponsible. I hope the management of this hospital can read this article and carefully observe whether the individual medical staff here work seriously and responsibly. The hospital is a place to treat patients, not...

I ended up at SF General for Surgery and follow up treatments. I have to say, I have been very pleasantly surprised by the candor, conduct, professionalism and friendliness of the staff there. I appreciate what they go through on a daily basis - truth be told - and I have been quite impressed with their candor and ability to offer as much care as possible to all their patients most of the time with a smile on their faces. The list is long of people I would commend, I know most by name but I would risk missing some if I list names. The list goes from the ER Team, the the 3M Team, to the 1M Clinic team, down to X-Ray and then the PT Team .... let's not forget those in the Lab, those at the front entrance in Both Buildings 5 and 25. Then you have the Surgical Teams, and the Recovery room teams. The staff I have encountered at General are truly a credit to the Medical Profession, in all the different capacities they work in. Bravo / Brava Team!

This hospital saved my life. I had a sickle cell crisis. My organs shut down, my red blood cells were attacking my white blood cells and I had a mini stroke. Somehow I survived due to God and the doctors and nurses that worked there.

I came to this hospital for my PMC, but they never did anything for me. 2 years ago is when I started here. I was only given 5 minutes to tell they everything that I was experiencing with my health. In the little time I was given, I was only able to tell them both of my knees needed to be replaced. They still to this day have done nothing about anything with me. I found out that White Nurse's don't treat Black female patients the same as they do others. It's proven that they will never help a black female, now I know why they have not helped me! I no longer can walk! Now I'm getting a Lawyer for these sorry white nurses at SFGH for POOR PATIENT CARE! THEY WILL PAY!

Went to get a check up for my pregnancy, a nurse asked me if I wanted to get a shot and I told them no. Ms Mary The Midwife came in with the syringe and gave me the shot on my shoulder so fast. She stated I know you said no but I am going to give it to you anyway because it is good for the baby. Never coming here again when a no means nothing to them

Hello, I'm sorry that I can give you only one Five Stars, as I visited your clinic a year ago, the service was good. They took an x-ray, put ice on my hands, let me go, said there was no fracture, and billed me for $489. I paid later. They told me that they could return this money, they approved it, but for almost a year they have been returning my money and leaving SMS, leaving messages with an address with a phone number.

OK. It’s back where it started 4 hours now for a minor head injury. They my friend “behind doors” for the head CT 1.5 hours in when I mentioned to the we were gonna leave for another ER and I guess to be compliant with health care/safety rules. NOW.., STILL we wait for the stitches and to be released. It’s a disgrace—the clientele leaves allot to be desired too SO IF YOU HAVE any insurance at all.., including SFHP.., go somewhere else. Trust me…

Great hospital, incredibly compassionate staff who go above and beyond. Everyone here was very kind and timely with my CT scan, and my tests. I felt comfortable and very well taken care of here, all my needs were met, all the Doctors and Nurses and tech and staff were wonderful. Just very nice people, which is sooo necessary for this profession. “Do No Harm” is the first part of their oath! And these medical professionals really practice that! They gave me an IV medication to help with my stomach pain and about 3 minutes later i had a horrible reaction to it so i crawled out of bed and got my nurse and could only utter “i feel weird… and hot…my heart is too fast…” she calmly layed me back in bed while she immediately got ahold of my ER Doctor and he ordered IV Benadryl to counteract the allergic reaction, and it worked almost immediately. I felt immensely better. Im very sensitive to certain medications so i told the nurse to stay somewhat close after administering it and she did! She was amazing, all my nurses/doctors/techs/ALL STAFF were just wonderful people. Even though i love the care and treatment i receive at this ER, nobody wants to have to go back, but unfortunately my symptoms have been worse, 2-3 months later im just worse and haven't gone back yet bc I've had such bad experiences at other hospitals. It gave me a sort of PTSD about ER’s, but this last visit at San Francisco General really gave me hope and faith that the good Nurses and Doctors exist still. So, i will be back soon, i just am hoping it will be the same great experience as last time (as great as an ER visit could possibly be.)

Surprisingly amazing experience with the ER for my stepdad. I had heard stories about SF General ("you're going to be with homeless addicts ODing, gunshots and stabwounds..."), but they were proven wrong! We were seen literally right away, the doctors and nurses were extremely competent and kind, they talked to me throughout and were strategic, friendly and patient centric. Everyone seem to care so much, from the nurses to the docs, to the amazing financial services person who saved the day. I have been at the ER at UCSF and at CPMC, and this was way WAY better on all levels! what I appreciated most: ZERO condescending attitude towards patients or caregivers - I felt like I was a decision partner at all times. Who knew! thank you so so much and keep on being amazing humans :)

Pelvic fracture => surgery (bolt driven): IMHO, excellent job! Properly medicated for next 2 days recovering, then discharged with meds terribly deficient! After 2 days back n forth beseeching humane allotment while my bones would heal, their continued denial results in me going strictly business direct route to diacetylmorphine, proving wonderfully effective in managing the pain, @~$2 dose. No big habit. Here now , 4 years later, Significant habit. Received no reasonable responses at all along the way, in spite of efforts. Along with habit comes numerous other complications, none fun. Since then I avoid GH like 'twas a Chinese wet market. Several other tales of GH disappointment from other times; I will spare this page. I support education, and of course, think that's a great place for insurance money's to go; you know, like University of California!!

WARNING!!! DO NOT GO HERE. They will try to rob you. I went to urgent care for a grand total of 5 minutes, recieved little care, went home, and was charged $1300. They billed me for the wrong thing and even for what they billed me for, they overcharged. California releases a chargemaster for each hospital and I compared the rate i was billed at with the bill they sent me to confirm. In summary, this hospital does not care about health, they're just a scam center disguised as a hospital.

I went to the hospital with severe back pain due to my accident, and after taking the x-ray, they told me that I should wait and they would call me in order. I waited for five hours and could neither see a doctor nor a hospital employee who could explain why I had waited so long. I had to return home from the hospital in pain at midnight with no results.

The five stars rating is for the clinic physician, Lisa Samuel who called me to follow up With my situation and discussed about my treatment, prescription and the ultimate goal. She walked me through the whole process of a treatment that has been chosen or given to me by a doctor add the ER in San Leandro hospital. I think she listened really well, understood and suggest the best following treatments for me which I tremendously appreciate your time and knowledge that she shared with me. Lisa you are an amazing person and you made me feel like that you care about my health and well-being.

I visited this hospital three different departments: urgent care, radiation, and physical therapy. At each department, I was requested to present my insurance information, which I did for all three. I have Medicare, and AARP United Healthcare Medigap. Further, when I returned to the physical therapy department on 3/17/2022, I asked the clerk to check if both of my insurance information is in the hospital system, who told me yes. However, I received the bill from its billing department. Without processing my second insurance, the hospital billed me the remaining balance. Ironically when I called the billing department, with my secondary (AARP United Healthcare) insurance already processed payment, and the EOB on my hand, that department still did not have my secondary insurance information. Then I got a phone call from the billing department, a supervisor told me, even though three of the hospital departments each entered my both insurance information into the system, the billing department still does not have my secondary insurance information, which I had to verbally provide to them. In today’s electronic medical record word, the "reputable" Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, still does not have adequate billing process? I feel very shameful for it. I wonder how many patients have to go through my frustrated experience?

Ignorant. Careless. Transphobic. Dehumanizing. So much more along those lines I could say but honestly just speechless. When they discharged me i confirmed with the nurse i needed to go to derry way in south san san francisco. Yet the taxi driver stranded me on barry street in the mission bay. They even asked me.. "oh like 'dairy'?" And i confirmed "no it's D-E-R-R-Y in south san francisco" but the taxi driver took me to berry street and said that's what was written and he forced me out for wasting his time. I just thought hospitals were supposed to actually help people? Apprently not. If you ever get taken here best of luck. This place is truly awful and completely disregards the needs of their patients.

I had the best possible experience in the emergency. All the stuff was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I’m very grateful to all the nurses and doctors.

Terrible place, opened by a terrible person. If zero stars were an option, zero stars would have been awarded. Anyone with half a brain knows this man is in it for money and not authentic care.

Years ago, I came here to be seen for issues. I had with my ears. the resident was dismissive, and said that I should see a psychiatrist, because it didn’t matter that my ears were ringing, but that I should try to cope with the ringing through therapy. now that I think about it, this guy was a total jerk, and I can’t believe that someone would actually hire or train or allow this kind of behaviour. What a horrible place.

My son was there and when I would call at first they were ok with getting me through but as time went on they were horrible with communication and letting me know he was there... After a two weeks of him being there and never having an issue of letting me talk to him he had to go into surgery and that night all of a sudden they told me three different times he was not there in the hospital. I didn't get a password from him and all of a sudden they did not let me talk to him... Was a horrible night... The receptions were very rude.

Went in after months of severe allergies. Google said it counted as an urgent care, and I was desperate to breath. So I went in, waited over 3 hours to be seen, then finally saw the doctor. I was told I have allergies and to keep taking my over the counter medicine. Less than 20 minutes for the whole interaction. I got the bill today. $910. Hc Exam/treatment Room: $567.00. Office/Outpatient Established SF MDM 10-19 minutes: $343. I know the US's medical system is broken, but it is still surprising when it bites you. Don't be like me and think you can just deal with it if you are not covered by your insurance. They will take you for every red cent they can. I can not imagine the bill if they actually HELPED me with something.

I went to the ER today due to chest pains and had an excellent experience, doctors, nurses and assistants were very professional and competent. I was surprised by their great level of service being a public hospital, nothing to envy from a private clinic. The place was clean and well organized, thank you very much to all personnel involved!

I'm not happy. They kick people out into the rain, saying that if you are not waiting for a doctor, they just locked me up in the hospital, I just took a taxi. I wanted to make an appointment with other doctors for myself, to which the family doctor said I made requests, just wait for the call, she didn’t even give me a referral(

You will literally be dead before you are seen extremely unorganized hospital terrible treatment horrible wait time even tho waiting area is empty they really do what they want here. Need to do a complete staff replacement with people that actually care about their patients last time ever coming to this hospital if you even want to call it that .

I love this hospital because my family and I are with Sfgh. But the ER for pediatric is very alarming on how care is given. Brought my daughter in twice same day. Let’s say they don’t want you there is my feelings and the nurses have really bad bedside manners. Except for one man nurse who kept us updated and informed about status. But overall very disappointing. Don’t go into medical field if you don’t want to be bothered really.

I like the hospital. It's a nice & positive environment. I only recently began volunteering on Weds through the Vocational Rehab Dept. So good so far. I also receive physical therapy services from the Rehabilitation dept and it's helping my knee get better. My hands go up to the physical therapists who are helping me get better. Thank you.

I was supposed to get wisdom teeth removal surgery at this hospital but they keep delaying the surgery date. The original surgery date was supposed to be in 2023, then it was pushed back a week later and then it was pushed back to a month later and now they are delaying the surgery date again! For a third time! Even worse, every time they delayed the date, they did not even bother to tell me what was going on. I understand there are more important patients with emergencies but they did not even care to call me or update me. Instead, I had to call them myself to find out! Also, when I called the hospital at one point, they picked up and then hung up immediately after. What is up with that?! Anyways, they promised that they would call me back the next day to confirm the next surgery date, but they never did! So I had my family call the hospital on my behalf, but the head nurse was being rude and giving me a hard time because someone else was helping me out. Worst service ever and probably really expensive for no reason. The amount of delays and last minute changes has significantly disrupted my work and school schedule, all because the hospital cannot do their job properly and stick to one plan! Awful planning, communication and customer service skills all around. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY! UPDATE: I attempted to reschedule the surgery date, and they said they would call me back to do so, but even weeks later they never did! I will no longer reschedule and will instead go to a different place.

This review is for the nursing staff the 4 stars is for the doctors and techs. The nurses are less friendly than the doctors. The nurses are less skillful than the techs. To be a great nurse requires both skills and the right personality. Skills can be accumulated so I am not holding youth and inexperience against the younger nurses. I met a couple of nurses who made my day and a couple who ruined my night. Overall, most of the nurses were okay and I had more than a few that I would have preferred throughout my long stay. I'm not sure I'd want to be admitted to GH in the future. But then again, the doctors and techs were great. A heart-felt thank you to the compassionate nurses and conversely, "shame-shame" on you bullies.

Terrible care in 6M in CHILDREN'S EMERGENCIES. I spent two hours waiting with my sick daughter waiting, they took my details, however all the people who arrived after me were being treated and my daughter was in pain, very sick, waiting in the waiting room while the nurses ate cake. That according to the nurses they did not pass my daughter because according to them she was not sick enough to be treated and my daughter was crying from pain, terrible care and discrimination.
