Our visit to the Kelley/Velasco Park was horrible. The park was very filty with trash bags littered everywhere. Aside from the trash bags, the park had dog waste everywhere. In SF. fashion, the park was bombarded with homeless camper vans. In hindsight, our experience was negative for the simple fact that a beautiful park is being ignored and unkept.

Joe now under renovation, the park is a nice place for the constituents of the community to spend quality family time with your children. It features a lot of different varieties of activities to keep the little ones happy and the adults satisfied. The safety matting of compressed rubber feels good to walk on and is a very nice feature to this play area

Small but large activities. Swings, adults can use them. Nice turn table for kids, slides. Infant swings Basketball courts. There is a sit down area and space for gatherings of small groups. Some Sundays they have church services in the park. Many persons walk the park. 7 laps of the park = 1 mile. Neat huh? There are containers for your throw aways so overall it's clean. Across the street on the Daly City side many people show up in vans and leave trash after enjoying the park. The trash they leave behinds is big it wouldn't fit in the containers for small tosses. Many calls go tp Daly City about the trash they are slow in their response. Once they sho up, they do an excellent clean ☝ up.

Nice park despite the shady surroundings. Definitely a place to visit during daylight hours but not so much after sundown. Its located in an late progressing neighborhood therefore there maybe a mixture of type of visitors to the park on any given day.

A welcoming-ly clean park with a nice assortment of jungle gym equipment and benches, decent amount of parking on top of that.

Basketball courts are not too crowded on a Sunday morning. The backboards are smaller than the standard though.

I wish the basketball nets on the hoop area would stay fixed or people stop ripping them and it be nice if there was a bathroom available at the park
