Great beach they do a great job keeping it clean. Awesome view of the sunset fire pits if you want to have a fire at night. Parking can be a bit of a Challenge though. Parking lot is very small most parking is street parking but it’s worth it. Highly recommended

What a beautiful place to see the Pacific Ocean!!! The place is very popular with visitors. There is a restroom next to the parking lot. However, it would be nice if authorities prevented people from sleeping there. Otherwise, this is a wounderful place to have a good time.

Very low key and clean large beach, the way the wet sand reflects the sunset’s hues is beautiful like a painting. I caught my first Dungeness crab at this famous snaring spot using an 11ft rod and about 10oz weight with squid and herring as bait!

One of the beautiful places in SF that should be on the list while you visit this delightful city. The beach is long and wide, and it might be a good idea to have a jacket with you because sometimes it can be cold. The parking is awesome, by the beach, it’s super convenient.

There's a really cool area and a tunnel at the far north end of the beach that is worth looking into. Then walk up and around to the old Cliff House and take a picture of Seal Rocks! THEN, theres a hill directly behind you where you take that picture. Find your way to the top of it and take some more pictures of the beach facing south. Its amazing. And THEN, PRO TIP go to Ocean Beach Cafe that just opened!! One of the most awesome customer service oriented places I've ever been!

I'd never seen the ocean before until yesterday! It was a crazy experience. The sand was very clean compared to the usual lake tahoe beaches I'm use to. It was absolutely beautiful! It was within walking distance of multiple bus stops making it easy for this country bumpkin to commute. I took one little rock and one sand dollar (I didn't think sand dollars were actually real! Crazy!). The bathrooms however were closed, and the wash stations turned off. I don't quite know why, and I'll probably never know. Nevertheless a fun experience!

Perfect beach to drive along with windows down on a sunny day and during dusk or dawn. The beach is clean and water is turquoise and cold. The most famous beach in San Francisco is a no brainer!

I have many fond memories at Ocean Beach. Today, we stopped by after visiting a local college. The waves were rumbling & rolling. So beautiful & peaceful. Recommend going further down the great highway to the smaller parking lot. It is a lot less crowded, and the bathrooms were clean. Enjoy!

If you fancy sunsets, here is a very beautiful spot to enjoy by the Pacific Ocean. You can also spot people coming here for long walks, to exercise their fur companions, or to simply gaze the surroundings in awe. It's worth spending some moment here.

First time to Ocean Beach in a long while. Was surprised that the highway parallel to beach was closed but found a parking spot and was able to enjoy a nice morning looking for sand dollars and wanderingthe beach during low tide.

Very Beautiful experience, would have been better had it been cleaned up after fireworks πŸŽ† display, outside of that very beautiful place, and great 4 fishing.

Nice beach with restrooms, parking space. The wind from the Pacific is great. The water is cold. People are walking, playing, reading books and it's a cool place to just relax, read book. The highway adjacent is closed on some days of the weekend sometime and that gives additional space for people to walk, bike on the whole highway.

Grew up in Daly City lived in San Francisco love the beach. Cannot beat the sunset every night of your life, if you can see thru the fog.

To have a beach this beautiful and this wild on the skirt if one of the world's most vibrant cities, my goodness what a joy. In December when I visited, in addition to watching the surfers, the dungeness crabbers were out in force, families enjoyed the scene, people with their dogs strolled along making the people watching almost as interesting as looking at the breakers come in.

Clean beach. Not very busy on our visit just mostly surfers looking for the perfect wave. No touristy shops and restaurants like you see at other beaches.

Some parts of the beach have construction. But still, A FREAKING LOVELY PLACE TO WATCH A SUNSET. And a nice place to go surfing. Wear a bodysuit.

I love the beach. My kids enjoyed playing in the water and it wasn't too crowded. I enjoy walking down great highway when it's closed so that my kids can practice riding their bikes. It's such a cool and cute little place. I will forever love this beach.

There were beach advisories when I was there so I didn't stay long but it was beautiful out and I'm glad I got to experience it before heading off to the SF Zoo nearby.

The ocean view is beautiful. Yet be prepared to catch a ride there, parking is limited.
