I checked out this park in 2001 and thought it was nice but didn’t think I would ever return..well I’m glad I decided to revisit it. There is some major renovation of the softball field and playground that looks to be completed by summer 2021. 🤞 Walking thru the park on all the hidden trails will transport you to a eerie and beautiful place. It’s almost always foggy and wet so come prepared. On the few days where there isn’t fog, the views of the Pacific Ocean are inspiring.

Nice view of the Ocean and Southwest areas of the city (towards SF state). Parks has a tennis court, small playground, open area for dogs, and an wooded area in the middle with benches.

A magnificently forested park with incredible vantage of the city, ocean, and surrounding area. Some may claim the trees detract from the view but they truly only add to it. I happened to go on a day of voracious mosquitoes-the reason for deducting 1 star from the rating

Beautifully updated park. Kids playground is one I wish I would've had access to as a child, big open space for field sports, comfortable benches. Two rather big downsides depending on your point of view: 1. Too many people with unleased dogs in close proximity to small children running (a terrible accident waiting to happen)--additionally on this point dog feces being left in the open grassy area is also a bummer. 2. Many trees were felled to creat this open space, when the sun is out it is inescapable (be sure to bring sun block)

Beautiful neighborhood park and playground. The grass next to the playground is an unofficial dog park but the playground is fully fenced so not a problem at all. My kids between 2.5 and 7 all had plenty to do even though it’s not a huge playground.

Continually stunned and satiated by the gorgeous sunset views over the ocean. The lush greenery and evergreens keep me coming back. I adore this park.

Not as grand as I expected. This feels like a private park-no parking really and it’s not as big as the photos make it seem. I saw a sign saying no dogs but I saw two dogs there. 🤷‍♂️

Great enclosed playground for Littles. Beautiful views. Tennis courts. Small trail & some grassy space. Wish there was a public restroom though.

Nice park on top of the city. You don’t get the clearest panorama view, but there’s an incredible view through the trees.

Elevated green spot with nice views of SF and seashore, short nature walk and children playground.

This park is a beautiful open space that overlooks the city of SF with small trails and a good sized grass area for you and your furry friends to stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air. Parents can keep an eye on their young ones as they play in a protected sandbox play structure area, or enjoy some time at the two large tennis courts below. In addition this park has a water fountain that is dog-friendly plus conveniently provides dog waste bags for visitors.

Nice park, will be back with the kiddos. No bathrooms are onsite so bring a potty if you’re bringing kids

Great little park with two tennis courts. Small play structure surrounded by sand. Wish there were swings. Fun to walk on the short trails. Good for a short escape or to bring your dog.

Another adorable San Francisco gem. Quiet, tucked away in a neighborhood atop a hill, with all the amenities. I feel like the people that frequent the dog park here aren’t the friendliest, and their dogs aren’t either. Oh well. Nice park, beautiful forest with a view of the sunset. Nice place to spend an afternoon

Spectacular views. A bit windy, but well worth it. We were advised to visit here during cooler months because the fog makes this a less desirable vantage point during summer months.

So nice! The play structures looked safe and a great place for your dog to play!

A small park. Great spot to walk the dog or bring your kids too. There’s been a lot of construction nearby so some parts can be a bit loud.
