Excellent sunset spot (if Karl’s not around). It’s pretty exposed so it can get both windy and foggy up there. If you want a bit of a walk, take the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps to or from here - they’re just below the park on the western side.

Beautiful unprecedented views of the ocean and city below. From the golden gate park to downtown. The stairs on the west side are very unique and make for a quick trip to the 16th street mural steps. The views are phenomenal!! There is a lower ring below the top where everyone goes and it’s the best spot!!

Amazing 360 degree views of the city. Be prepared for stairs and the upper part of the park has many tree roots with loose footing. The better view is located on the sandy front side of the park down the path.

Absolutely gorgeous! It is a short uphill struggle but the view is well worth it. When it’s clear (which is rare in SF), you can see the whole city, as well as the Golden Gate Bridge, and Golden Gate Park.

Most underrated view in SF. Nearly full 360 with views of the bridge, Marin, beach, Sutro and downtown skyline. Fun to go at night right now as well and see observation wheel all lit up.

Amazing little park with 360 views of the city. There are sets of stairs on the East and West to access the top where there are a couple of benches to relax and soak up the view

Despite the marine layer & some low visibility, it was still a beautiful view of the sprawling concrete jungle! Our corgi Gauge had fun climbing up the stairs, the humans - not so much haha as we are not fit. Sufficient benches to stop, catch our breath & enjoy the scenery. We arrived around 9 am & there’s hardly any people!

Great hilltop park with stunning views! Just a 10 minute walk from either Judah or 19th Ave, you'll get some cardio in for sure. I love to come up here to watch sunrises and sunsets and have also utilized the stairs for a killer workout! You must make it up here when you can!

Beautiful almost 360 views of the surrounding city. Wide panoramic view of Golden Gate Park stretching all the way to Ocean Beach with some glimpses of the Golden Gate Bridge and downtown SF. A few benches on the stairs and one at the top to take it all in. Perfect for an urban nature adventure. You can get to the park from two sets of stairs at either 14th Ave or Noriega St.

Little, hilltop park in the Sunset district that gives 360 degree view of the city from downtown, skyline to the Golden Gate Bridge. There are stairs to reach to the park. My recommendation is to go to 16th Avenue tiles stairs and then proceed to the park. You can enjoy the amazing views of the city and get great pictures at the 16th tile stairs.

Beautiful landscape of San Francisco from up high this park. Really a gorgeous view when the sun is here! You can see pretty easily the ocean, the new Ferris Wheel at the Golden Gate Park, the Sutro Tower, Downtown etc. There are some other hidden gems like the 16th Street Tiered Steps and the Hidden Garden Steps close by to go visit. Really worth your time!

There are always incredible views here. Regardless of the weather, it's a beautiful vantage point of the city. It gets very windy so bring a jacket.

Great spot with a panoramic view from the pacific to the city skyline. Dog friendly. Lots of stairs.

Awesome easy 360 view of city and bay. Stunning during full moons.

I’m a sucker for a sunset. I’ve watched many from various peaks throughout the City, but if I wanted to see the ocean, I always took my tushie all the way to Ocean Beach. Now that I know this spot exists, I’ll be back for many many more 🥹😻 The colors last night were really spectacular, and even though we missed the sun going behind the clouds, we still had a wonderful smattering of pinks & oranges reflecting against the clouds. 10/10 recommend for an entirely unobstructed view, 360 degree of all the City has to offer, and a bun work out hiking up the (short) steps (double up & squeeze those buns to get your muscles working!)

Has to be a top 3 view of SF. Such a beautiful and unassuming hill. Beautiful little steps that lead to a jaw dropping view. One of the greatest hidden gems this city has to offer and it is just the perfect place for anything from a morning hike to a sunset outing. One of my favorite places to visit and a favorite amongst locals of the area. Though it doesn't have a view of downtown like other places such as twin peaks or bernal heights, what it offers is arguably better as you see the stunning expanse of the true side of San Francisco as well as the beautiful vastness of the Pacific Ocean. Beautiful place, would highly recommend.

Great view, but be prepared for the hike up the flight of stairs, especially if you have kids. The view is amazing, though, and well worth it

If you want great view of SFO from all 360 degree you must visit Grandview. We took taxi from Kings station. If there is no fog you can see Pacific ocean, Golden gate Bridge, SFO skyline. You can spend hour or so taking pictures and enjoying the view.

We climbed up those tiled stairs from 16th Ave. Those tiles are really awesome, and it's difficult to enjoy them if you are coming down the stairs. The stairs are steep and short in depth and caught me off guard when I wobbled a bit. We worked our way to the top of the Grandview park after another set of stairs. With the fog rolling in ferociously, it turned to dribbles under the trees. We couldn't see the ocean. I guess it is the beauty of Norcal. Even in a foggy day, it's still a very enjoyable visit.

Went there for the sunrise smoked a blunt had a conversation with a couple saw the sun rise it was a wonderful morning

If you're lucky enough to be there in a sunny day, the views are unparalleled, with a scanning area from downtown to the Pacific and north to the Marin Headlands. However,if you've parked in the area, don't leave anything of value in your car.
