A small section of the quad makes up the succulent garden here. During the pandemic the quad is a great place for a picnic since it's very quiet, empty and open.

There are two small succulent gardens in the woody area. We were there early in the morning. It was quiet and calming in contrast to busy urban life in San Francisco.

A place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city is not to be taken for granted. Take a deep breath and take in nature in all her glory.

A wonderful and plentiful variety of plants to choose from and browse at very reasonable prices. There's a place to build your own display and a wide variety of housing for your new plant children. People are very friendly and helpful, but busy. And they know their succulents well. A must browse and buy for any traveller or local.

The owner was so patient with me, as I had many questions about which plants would work in my limited-light apartment. He stopped what he was doing & helped me peruse, and knew his wares from root to bloom. I went home with two air plants and a planter cast from a barnacle on a humpback whale! I could spend hours in this calming, verdant spot.

Absolutely amazing, takes you around the world without leaving the country. It's beautiful and a great way to spend a weekend.
