Have been here a few times and am always happy with it. The curry dishes are all good, the stir fry dishes are very flavorful. Highly recommend the papaya salad and Pad Prik Khing. Service is friendly and fast, and the price is just right.

Still there. This review is proof that I don't hate everybody in the world. This place provided the best Thai food that I've had in this country. We were provided phenomenal service. Their thai teas are authentic tasting instead of just sugary. Also, their food came out lightning fast and I can't find a complaint for the life of me. I really want to buy the t-shirts but I'd have to buy like five of them.

was a hot day so it was ridiculously hot inside. if you’re sitting down you’re required to order a meal or appetizer. everyone’s food was sub par and came out all at separate times. my noodles came out about 15+ mins after everyone else and had zero to no flavor.

Update: restaurant barely 1/2 full. I sat down to eat at a two top. Waitress insisted I sit in the corner by the kitchen and bathroom. She would rather I leave and not come back then eat there again. The chicken Pad Thai is my favorite. Tasty and a shareable portion.

Great and authentic taste, but terribly capitalistic. Customer next to me ordered a similar curry dish, but received a portion twice the size of mine. When asked about it, the waitress said they had the “seafood” option instead of “beef”, which should explain the portion size. Not only that, but rice DOES NOT come with any curry dishes and has to be order for $3/$4 separately. I’ve never been to any Thai resistant before that doesn’t include any rice with a curry dish, not even when you spend more than $20 on a curry… Moral of the story, if there’s a way to upsell, this place has you covered!

Expensive, overpriced, but decent food. Costumer service was alright, could not tell if the waiter was mad at me or just trying to be friendly but failing. The food took around 17 minutes to come. I got the pad thai. The noodles were flavorful and juicy. Texture was nice and moist. The chicken was under flavored and dry. Overall decent pad Thai, but way to expensive for the quality that they are serving

Poor , Tom Kha soup is just boiling mushrooms and chicken pieces. The youngest waiter is rude, forgets even do she is writing it down, so I left not satisfied. THEY DONT CARE IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT IT’s TURIST AREA .

I never ever have felt the need to write a review until today Thai food is one of my favorite foods and I get it all the time this was my first time here my rice was over cooked at the bottom and my pork tasted rotten , also the egg I had was green on the bottom stuff was not fresh at all .My boyfriend got some chicken and rice, chicken was way over cooked and also the rice was overdone like mine we both in total ate about two bites. We did still leave tip cause they were kind and service was good but food was 0 out of ten . Very unhappy for 46 dollars

Quick service, extensive menu, and good quality Thai food. I ordered the crab fried rice and it came out piping hot and with a good amount of flavor. Great neighborhood eat.

So happy my little family and I stumbled on this place! Everything was amazing!!! Tom yum is unique, I usually don’t like Tom yum but this one was not overly sour, just right. We ordered pad Thai, Pad see ew, chicken satay, steamed veggies, fried rice and jasmin rice, Everything was amazing and the owner was extra lovely telling us about her special chili, it was spicy but full of flavor! I will be back next time I’m in SF!

Just okay. I picked up my food because I’ve heard they had bad service. The person over the phone sounded lukewarm. The food was not worth the price nor the 20 minute walk there. I got the pad thai. The chicken was over cooked and the noodles did not have much flavor

Their Pad Thai and Green Curry were great but the spring rolls could’ve been better. Pretty bland for $11 but the service was great and food came out fast.

Considering that 'hippies' are pro animal rights and mostly vegetarian, this place offers mainly meat and did not give me any 'hippie vibes'. Seemed more like a marketing strategy.

Hippie Thai was my go to Thai place in the city. I went on a Saturday recently and the food went downhill. My Rad-Na dish had wayyy too much white pepper. There were visually clumps of white pepper all over the vegetables and on the noodles. It made it incredibly difficult to enjoy. I don't know if I'll go back again

Went on a little friend date and had a meal at this restaurant. It was a very cozy and the service was quick. Food was good and I enjoyed the meal very much.

Nice little spot for a bite. Love the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my meal, but the texture of the chicken in the fried rice my wife had was a bit off. Other than that, very tasty. The spices at each table are fiery and very good. Would recommend!

Try chicken pad Thai. So sweet. No spice. Noodles very sticky. Unfortunately won't be back, read other negative reviews. Maybe some are happy, there's better thai food. Paid $18.00 & quality and flavor 2-stars.

Overall the food was just okay. Both dishes we had were pretty bland for Thai food (crab fried rice and a noodle dish). Wouldn't recommend eating here if you can avoid it.

Went to dine in, food came out hot. Tasted pretty good, but then…. I watched the chef walk out front to smoke a cigarette wearing his blue kitchen gloves, after he was finished he came back in and went right to work with the same dirty gloves…. If he will smoke in them what else will he do in them? Grossed me out, didn’t go back after that.

Ordered 2 chicken pad thai for takeout. I love Thai food and this was the most bland and flavorless Thai I have ever had. I should have known immediately when there was no heat-level selection. I live close by, and I'll never order from here again.

I have to admit the name gave me great pause, as I thought it would be bad America rip off Thai. Major Nope. We enjoyed excellent, authentic Thai food here, with friendly helpful service. The Tom Yun soup as spot on and they even had young coconut beverage.

The food here is so good we were tempted to only eat here during our trip! Lots of gluten free options and quick service.

Wouldn’t recommend the larb tofu salad. Have had way better at other places and bigger portions for the same price. Veggie glass noodle dish is good

Came here for early dinner. Ordered a tom yam noodle soup but was very confused when we were served a sweet soup that did not have any hint of lemongrass. It was also not spicy at all. It tasted more like boat noodles. Checked with the server and she said it was correct. Either they don't know how to make Tom yam soup, or they thought they could pass it off as Tom yam.. The thai iced tea is authentic though, but will not be coming here again.
