I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for the last year but after tonight, I might not come back. I found the restaurant through the app Too Good Too Go which helps save food waste from local businesses. And after that, introduced it to everyone in the area and brought my friends there more than 10 times with big orders to support the small business. Today (02/23) I used the app because I finished work late so I know there won’t be enough time for me to go there and order from the full menu. When I arrived at 8:58 pm (pick up time was from 8:30 - 9:00), there was another old disable man was there for his pick up, trying to explain something to the staff. The staff yelled at us, said why you guys are so late. I said, I arrived within the time range the app allows to pick up. She kept complaining something and seemed like she wanted to not give us any food. After a couple of minutes, she told the kitchen: “make 2, even though not sure if there is any food left” with a very angry voice. The old guy looked at me explained he had to travel here on his wheel chair and the hill is challenging for it, that’s why he was late. I was so upset with the staff but tried to smile to the man said, you are on time, no worries please. And then when the food is done, the kitchen made each of us two servings of spring rolls. And she took out one, asked me: do you even eat it all. I said yes. She packed the food without giving us any sauces. I’m upset because the app stated that, when you arrive, the food should have been ready for you to pick up. But they were upset because they didn’t have it prepared. Or maybe the staff thought if no one picks up, she can take it for herself? It’s not the first time I’m here but this is the first time I see this staff and got treated like that. And it will be the last time I’m here. I review this just so the owner can see. (I’m an influencer with big followers so I created this new gmail just so my whole followers don’t have to see this. I’m glad I haven’t introduced this one to my channel).

Ridiculous. My receipt included a 6% hidden charge for “Operating Overhead” that I was not informed about. Asian Box *stole* money from me and almost certainly from others. No one at the store could explain it. They tried to get me to EMAIL some email address. Utterly ridiculous. And what the heck are “Operating Expenses” even supposed to be? What a scam. Edit in response to owner: No other restaurant has this for cost supply variations. Just put a new price over your menu prices like other restaurants to if you want to be honest. Your employees didn’t even know about the 6% sneaky fee and it wasn’t visible. All of this reflects terribly on how you are operating.

The food is really fresh. I almost always order a steak box with rice or salad, but the chicken is bomb too. The quality of the meat seems amazing, and the veggies are always fresh. Get the peanut sauce and the yellow curry sauce! The house made mint iced tea is also really good. Service is friendly and efficient. Great value.

Really terrific Lunch Box Special! Pork Roll, Shrimp Salad and a Mint Green Tea. All for 20 Bucks!! Great deal and so delicious!!

I got the tofu box delivered with DoorDash and it was amazing. The delivery was super fast. The box was great and so yummy. Very good value for price. I will definitely order there again when I am back in the city. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic place at all amazing location. The food was otherworldly and even had a pure vegan option. They even offered to make any of their dishes vegetarian. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating.

Overpriced and overrated. Food had barely any flavour, curry tasted watered down. We hardly got anything for our meal and and it did not look good.

First time here and the food was stellar and safe for anyone with gluten sensitivity or has celiac disease. Hands down the best food I've had while in San Francisco. The staff is awesome and super friendly. They are fully aware of the issue folks with gluten sensitivity and Celiac disease. This place made it so so much less stressful to eat in a town that you haven't been in many many years. So glad I found this gem.

Best asian food in SF, big portions and great for coeliacs (dedicated gluten free). All that for so little. Their beer selection is also awesome.

My husband, son, and I came for lunch after specifically searing for a gluten free place to eat. Everything here is 100% gluten free! And it’s absolutely delicious. I got the green curry chicken with no peanuts and couldn’t get enough. My son had the shrimp and rice kids box - at it all. My husband got the workout and I haven’t seen him that happy with a restaurant meal almost ever. I definitely recommend stopping by. The staff was also incredibly friendly and the environment was very clean. We will certainly be back!

Food and drinks were awesome, Mai Tai wasn't to my taste but was still good. The fish and chips dish was devine. Our waiter was so sweet and brought out dessert for our friends that had just gotten engaged that day. He was attentive and very nice. Great experience!

Food was pretty disappointing. Basically fast food Asian. Pork meat was very strange, sauce very bland and stewed egg had zero flavor. Tried to charge me $7 for a vita coco drink. Won’t be returning 🥲

Food is good but they told me that the curry with veggies and chicken was not spicy at all and I couldnt eat it the whole thing because it was really spicy!

Lovely location to dine outside. I got the vegan garden box and it was delicious and flavorful. Good large portion size that was filling. The staff were very nice and had good suggestions on sauces to try.
