Very quick and friendly staff, huge portion size (at least for the burrito). It's nothing fancy, but it tastes wholesome. It's pricier than non-airport food, but you're not gonna get away from that while flying unless you decide to eat at Burger King. Probably the best affordable airport food you'll find.

Delicious chicken quesadillas! We saw burritos being ordered by others and those portions were huge! Highly recommend this place. It’s just before gate 64, but even if that’s not near your gate, just walk over there, it’s totally worth it!

I don’t know why this is such a low rated spot. I just had a delicious carnitas burrito with cilantro rice and black beans, plus they have ice cold draft beer. Maybe other items tanked their rank IDK, but I just had a great breakfast after super long flight from Hong Kong!

Since it is an airport restaurant, it's important to note that the prices are slightly higher than what you would expect. Despite that, the quality and flavors of the dishes make up for it. The service is quick. If you're willing to splurge a bit, this place won't disappoint your taste buds.

Burrito bowl with the works. Caritas was really good. Extra for the corn and quac. Worth it. Would definitely eat here again.

I was looking for something healthy ,gluten free and a filling! This place hit the spot! The older lady working at the counter was super nice and kind! I ordered the breakfast burrito with corn tortillas! It was DELICIOUS! They have a large selection of beverages and food. Its a chipotle style business , which I love ! You pick what you want! Definitely a go to place to eat right before a long day of travels!

Very deceptive pricing. Their $8 burritos are actually $16.00. Pay close attention. Pt the fine print

In this E4 - E12 gate section - I think this is the only place with take-out draft beer as the other venues serve draft that must be consumed in their seating area. Nothing like a cold @deschutes draft beer from Urban Tortilla paired with a fresh-made sandwich from Klein’s Deli next door! (Don’t worry I got UT burrito take out for the in-flight meal.)

I appreciate that I could get a great fresh Mexican food at the San Francisco Airport. Good virility if items, great staff

Possibly the worst burrito bowl ever. Extremely overpriced, lacks flavour, and they charge $2 extra for sour cream lol

I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo and added bacon for an extra $3. It was huge, fresh and delicious. The chorizo had great flavor. I don’t know why people have rated them so low, but my stomach is very happy. I’m going to take a nice nap on the 777-300 as I have a first class seat, which will be turning into a bed for the next 5 hours.🤩😂

Unfortunately when I come thru SFO (I guess due to time of day) I'm always hungry and some places are already closing and options are limited anyway, so I end up at Urban Tortilla, even though I already know their Burrito is nothing to write home about. Their "stake" is hard, flavorless and chopped real small (either to make it last or to disguise its gristly!), however interestingly enough, what ends up completely ruining the burrito (or bowl) is their RICE!! I don't know what's making their Rice(s) turn hard and feel like there are uncooked grains in them? Do they need to cover them? I mean I'd like to think that they know how to cook rice (?), but why does it not stay soft all around? Every forkful I took of the rice had HARD grains in them and it was horrible! It just ruins the Bowl/Burrito and I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason why they seem to have less customers, because this was not first time, but I guess I forgot and went back. Btw..this is was after 8pm so, don't know if the rices sit there too long untouched just getting dry, so pls cover them and or stir them, or something! And just plain test them out yourselves and see if hard rice is something you would "enjoy" having, on a $20+ dollar burrito. (Btw..there's another review on here that mentions "uncooked rice").

I got horrible food poisoning from this place. It was especially bad considering it’s in an airport. I’ve eaten there before, and it was decent and overpriced, like everything at an airport. However, I obviously won’t be back because that experience was one of the worst of my life.

I believe this is the best and biggest burrito I've ever had in my life. The tortilla was sooo fresh and doughy. The chicken, rice, etc. was amazing. Really good chips and guac too. PLEASE open up a location outside of the airport so that I can go more often!!

Ugh airport food This place made me miss chipotle. I got a burrito bowl w meat for 13.95 but came out to 15.63. Damn I chose this place cuz I didnt wanna pay 20 at the other fancy place but next time I'll pay more at the other place haha. It was pretty good w jalapeños to liven it up. Spicy pork was decent but food wasn't really hot. Expensive for the portion imo Good service 👍

I took a flight from SFO mid-September and had a quesadilla with spicy pork. It was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had in my life. Weeks later, I’m still reminiscing about it. The cheese was so ooey gooey and the meat was juicy! Just amazing. If I’m ever back at this airport, I will absolutely be going back!

Just not good. Its incredible how so many traditionally delicious ingredients can come together in such a bland dish. Super unsatisfying. Rice wasn’t fully cooked. Beans tasted old. Guacamole had no seasoning.

Friendly and attentive. Food was good. One tip: if you order a burrito, make sure they really drain the meat and/or beans. Bottom few inches of my burrito are uneatable goop. But it was good - and given it's size, I'm full.

I am flying with health issues and some personal issues, got to the airport very sad. Found this place at 9:30pm, got food from a kind lady, and the warm, flavorful food is just what I needed to carry on. Thankful for the food and would recommend. Very tasty and heartening. :)

This place is DANK. I have never felt so loyal to an airport restaurant in my life. I get the nachos especial and it makes me feel like I’ve crossed into another dimension. I will tolerate absolutely NO hate to Urban Tortilla, they can take all my money.
