Friendly service. Fast kitchen delivery. House empanadas with stretchy Oaxaca cheese. Taco tropical was really refreshing. I would not get the salad again which was a bit too salty with olives and a crumbly white cheese. Fortunately this looks to be their seasonal salad. Pork carnitas nachos was a big portion and filling. It was surprising how crisp the chips stayed.

Mind bending tomato salad and awesome fish tacos, tasty tapas overall. Also great drinks and excellent service. Edit, when back and got some tuna tacos, big mistake. Now can’t stop thinking of another bite! Very delicious 🤤 the special and chicken tostados was great too.

a great selection of Mexican-style vegetarian food. the plates are not small but not massive, good for sharing w friends and tasting over drinks. we got the mushroom queso, tostadas, and ceviche. i think the tostada was best, would pass on the mushroom queso next time since it was too heavy for me personally.

This place is pretty lit. We came to get a giant piece of steak to share but it's not longer in the menu :(. Instead we shared the carnitas nacho which was yummy. Then the birria quesadilla is so juicy and meaty. The taco tropical (shrimp) is so good and juicy with fruits and shrimp. Highly recommend this place if you're with some friends. (We were able to just walk in an instantly get seated).

Had an absolutely amazing time! The staff were amazing. They were all working together so well clearing tables, bringing water etc. The food was top notch and unique! I had fried chicken tacos that were pretty amazing. The sweet potatoes had incredible spicy flavor. Definitely glad we went.

As a Londoner, I don’t often get good Mexican food on a regular basis, so I might not be the best person to judge Mexican food. But the shrimp taco (Taco tropical) is honestly the best taco I’ve ever had! It was bursting with flavour, soft melting shrimp and the jicama tortilla added such a twist on the flavour. Every dish really impressed me with a really refreshing cocktail on the side. Really cool vibe in the restaurant and definitely worth trying out

great food, great ambience, and great cocktails! just make sure you make a reservation or put yourself on the waitlist at least an hour before you're hoping to be seated. all the food we tried was fantastic, but be warned that the portions can be a little small for the price. highly recommend the ceviche to share as an appetizer - we shared among a group of 4. it has shrimp and octopus, and comes with copious amounts of tortilla chips. we also loved the taco tropical, chicken empanadas, chile relleno, birria tacos, and chile relleno. as for cocktails, you can't go wrong with any of them - a classic margarita or an adventurous sour milk cocktail are both good ways to go! for dessert, we shared the flan and it was delicious - so sweet and creamy!

Fun vibe with some stand out dishes but a little overrated in my opinion 🤷🏽‍♀️ Standouts were the fried chicken tacos 🐓 🌮 and cricket tostadas 🦗 The arugula salad was simple yet tasty (you’d hate to see a miss here) 😌 I’d go again but wouldn’t wait more than 15 minutes for a table 💅🏽

Loló is a bit pricey, but it is worth it! Their fish tacos are some of the best that I have ever eaten. They have a wonderfully balanced flavor with an embrace of acidity that I find utterly addicting. I also tried the ceviche and empanadas, which both impressed me with their flavors. The chips were a bit hard, but also free so no complaints there! The staff were quite friendly and attentive! Loló is now on my shortlist of favorites to dine at when in San Francisco.

Went here on date night, it’s a cool Spot with seating at ground level and underground. I suggest getting seated at ground level. Sitting underground got very loud with other parties and nothing to block sound. The food it pretty good 4/5, but I come from SoCal i grew up eating tacos and while good their tacos were not amazing this time, I wish they had more spice but I think most people Will find them good. The fish tacos were the best thing we ate here. Cocktails were also good. Decent spot to come check out on a night out!

Great spot in Mission, did outdoor dining and the location was perfect for people watching on a weekend night and there was even someone playing music outside. There are not too many vegan options but our server was really helpful and I tried the cauliflower tacos and the tostada with asparagus and Shishito. While I would not order the tostada again the cauliflower tacos were delicious. Fun, relaxed vibe inside for indoor dining too.

It was a great experience!! Delicious food, very good drinks and great service. Definitely will come back. The only bad news is that they don't use tajin for margaritas or any drinks

Exploring new Mexican food spots is always on my list, and this restaurant caught my eye with its enticing name. Right off the plane, it became my first choice, and fortunately, it didn't disappoint. The tacos are fantastic – I'm not sure if they're traditional, but the flavor and texture perfectly match my taste buds. The fish taco, in particular, has secured a spot among my favorites. However, the alcohol was a bit on the strong side for me, especially the jalapeño-flavored option, which I unfortunately didn't notice when perusing the drink menu. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is fantastic! The ambience creates a great vibe, making it an ideal option for a wonderful date night.

Every plate is bursting with flavor, and I can’t recommend the cauliflower tacos enough. And the place is very dog friendly. Atmosphere is lively and colorful, so I recommend eating inside. Only critique is portion size, like with the churros, was disproportional to the price.

Shout out to Braulio! He’s an amazing waiter, very friendly. He knows what tasty foods to recommend and the wine as well. I’m kinda picky when it comes to Mexican restaurant but this restaurant is definitely 🔥🔥!

First time here, we really like the set up and service! We were seated as soon as we arrived. Our host was very helpful , kind and patient. All of his suggestions were great and helped our food decision making a breeze.

We were abruptly asked to leave our table. I assume there was a time limit but we were never made aware of it and the host didn’t have the slightest professionalism. He just said you need to leave we need this table and walked away. The food was nothing special. The drinks were great and our server David deserves the full 5 stars, but the host’s behavior had to also be accounted for - it’s very easy to explain a situation and ask nicely - I’ve never experienced anything like it.

Food was delicious. Everything we ordered was very good and excellent portion sizes. Our server at the end of our meal as we were paying was terrible though, and that really ruined the experience as we left quite unhappy.

Delicious!!! Cauliflower tacos, squash tostada, chips and salsa (do ask for house habanero salsa - it's spicy and oh so flavorful!), Fried chicken tacos...they have a small menu for food which is great! Also the interiors are so classy and fun, it's a great spot for date nights or a casual hangout with friends, and service is impeccable ❤️

The most impressive and best Mexican food I've ever had. I am so excited to keep coming back here. There are three things that are so impressive. First, this food is perfectly balanced. It's got a clear theme for the dish but incorporates a lot of elements of flavour that really elevate it. For instance, I thought everything was perfectly seasoned, but beyond that, incorporated the right amount of rich and sour elements to really boost it. Second, of the 4 different menu items I tried, I LOVED all of them. Rare is it that there are that many menu items I will be excited to keep eating. Third, I thought a lot of the menu items were inventive. At least with what I've had in the past, these incorporated new twists or elements that made it at least slightly better than anywhere else. So overall, this might just be my favourite restaurant in the bay area. This comes from someone who doesn't often seek out Mexican food. But, to their team, huge kudos the food blew my mind away. Now on other elements, service was pretty great. We were well attended to (the only mistake was forgetting to give us napkins, but they came quickly on request). We got water brought continually throughout the night. The food is a tad pricier (expect 2 dishes a person, about $30 a head on food) but I think this is well fair, I left full and so happy I ate every bite. So yeah, this place is a solid 10/5.

The best ceviche in San Francisco! Perfect balance of spiciness, freshness, acidity, and crunch 👌 Outside of ceviche, we also ordered empanadas and tuna tacos. Tuna tacos were so yummy that we ended up taking a second portion. Lolo offers a large selection of wines and also vegetarian food options which isn’t always the case at Mexican restaurants.

Lolo exceeded my expectations in every way. This place was praised on a ton of food blogs and albeit pricey, it is worth every penny. The plates are tapas style. The food is fresh and the menu is creative. There is a large list of cocktails, wine, and beer. The food gives authentic Mexican with New American vibes. The owner pours her heart and soul into this place and it shows. I was told by a local patron that she seasonally interchanges the decor and does it all herself. The service staff is fast, efficient, and enthusiastic. The empanadas and seared tuna tacon were amongst my favorites but legit everything we ordered was bomb. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Not your standard quick Taqueria! This is the highest Mexican Cuisine you can get. And the decoration of the place is fantastic with great art installations!

Fantastic food! Was incredibly busy, even for a Monday night but was so worth the wait to get in. Inventive takes on authentic Mexican and the cocktail list is great too!

Wow 😳 Please come to Texas. What a fabulous find for an amazingly delicious dinner. Hubby had the Grillos Tostadas— yes, it was crickets. Delicious. I had the Birre tacos and it was heaven on a plate. So satisfying and filling without the huge fillers normally used (rice and beans). Juan Carlo and his staff do an excellent job at service and recommendations. We will be back and recommend Lolo to friends.
