Beach was awesome, sand felt so good between my toes. It's a good walk across the sand from where you park to get to the ocean but we'll worth it. If you're adventurous the old cliffhanger restaurant is on top of the rocks to the right, directly below in the cove is a pretty cool cave with some interesting art work. Watch the tide. It's a beautiful place.

This was a stunning park with amazing views of the ocean and the beach. Make sure you go up the steps of the ruins of the old parapet for the best views.

Quiet park with the best view of the entire strip of Ocean Beach and the Seal Rock. It's one of those secret gems in SF that few people knows about. But you will be pleasantly surprised if you stumbled upon it.

Beautiful! One of the best beaches in Cali. So much sand, so few vendors trying to sell you stuff, calm. Great place to pull up, sit out and think or dream, or be whimsical!

Sutro Heights is a beautiful park located in the Outer Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The park is named after Adolph Sutro, a former mayor of San Francisco, who owned the land in the late 19th century. The park is a hidden gem and a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It is well-maintained and offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Marin Headlands. Visitors can take a stroll on the park's walking trails, enjoy a picnic, or simply relax on one of the park's benches. One of the highlights of Sutro Heights is the historic Sutro Baths ruins. The ruins are the remains of an elaborate saltwater swimming complex built in the late 1800s. The complex was destroyed by a fire in 1966, but the ruins still stand today as a testament to San Francisco's rich history. Another attraction in the park is the statue of King Neptune, which sits atop a large pedestal overlooking the ocean. The statue was originally part of the Sutro Baths complex and was restored and relocated to Sutro Heights in the 1980s. Overall, Sutro Heights is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty and history of San Francisco. It's a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon, take in some incredible views, and learn about the city's rich past. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Sutro Heights is definitely worth checking out.

One of the best spots in San Francisco. The view is high above the beach with stunning views. The park has some of the original sculptures in various conditions.

Loved this view. Needed to see and hear the ocean today as my mindfulness activity and this area was perfect.

This is one of my favorite parks in the city. The views of Ocean Beach and the Pacific Ocean are breathtaking. This is a must if you come to visit san Francisco. You can combine this with a visit to the Lands End visitor's center (which is closed by)

A beautiful historical park in Sutro district of west San Francisco & falls under Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It was purchased & developed by wealthy Adolph Sutro in late 19th century. He developed gardens, largest saltwater indoor swimming pools, amphitheater, New cliff house, forest etc. Now only concrete ruins remains that too defaced by graffiti. You have mesmerizing views of ocean beach, seal rocks & pacific ocean Car parking is good enough. Beware of car brakes signs were displayed there.

Very interesting place. Pretty, with some wildlife and short trails as well as a cool cave with a view hole to see the waves crashing. Very cool ruins. We went on a Friday afternoon and there was plenty of free parking.
