Great dive bar! The moved a few blocks north of the original location & yes, there's not as many lights out front, but they took the important part of the signage & the inside looks almost exactly the same. Good beer selection & stuff pours.

This is one of my favorite bars in the world mostly because of the people. Amazing owners the best bartenders in the city and they give back to the community with fundraisers and animal adoptions. Booze and soft furry animals what could be better! Lisa is the best bartender in the world so if you get her tip nice be nice and smile. She'll take care of you like she's known you all her life!

What a place, what a place. We were looking for a chill bar that was dog-friendly - Doc's was that and more. Gave us treats and a water bowl for the pups. A gem of a place.

Love this place. Fast becoming my 'local' whenever I'm in SF. Great location. Great drinks for good prices. Bar staff are awesome and I always get a conversation with fellow bar goers. Nice mix of interesting people. Go here!!

An adequate beer selection, decent liquor selection, but great bartenders. Always super quick, even when the place is busy and (nearly) always friendly! In the back they have some small tables if you have a few people or more. Also in the back is a pinball machine, video game cocktail table (Galaga, if I remember correctly) and a shuffleboard table. It's a great spot. Ask the bartender the history of the bar, especially the bar's name. There are some really cool stories! Most importantly: CASH ONLY

Pretty nice dive bar. Good shuffleboard in the back, drinks are cheap, but the place is cash only. I only dealt with two bar staff, one was a fairly unfriendly lady, and the other was a nice guy. Definitely worth checking out if you're even remotely fond of bar games.

Solid dive bar. They have a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps that's an absolute banger of a drink. The entrance is always half closed, just walk in. Inside is a bit dark but visible enough, be warned that the business is cash only. Most drinks are in the $10ish range.

We love Doc’s Clock. Drinks are cheap and stiff. Service staff is friendly and fun.

Cash only. Great old SF bar!

I've seen this place (in it's old location) for decades and finally went in. It was just what I wanted... Noisy but not loud, good selection, and a bartender honest enough to not take advantage of an overpay mistake.

It's the vibe. So positive. Neighborhood feel. Connected. A place you can make your own.

Stay Away From This Bar. Super rude bartender. And he made the worst margarita ever. And on top of it the glass was only 2/3 full. It was like paying for part of a drink.

Fast service, strong drinks. No b.s.

The staff here is very rude and pushy, I don't know why. I've been here twice and had bad experiences both times. Definitely a place to avoid 😬

The decor is kind of cool. They have a very long shuffleboard table. It's hard for me to think of it as a dive bar when it's not any cheaper than anywhere else.

Amazing place with friendly service and immaculate vibes. Feels low-key authentic punk, and has a cool history to boot. Just what the doctor ordered!!

Cool bar and trendy. I enjoyed my time here. I was seated fairly quickly. And was quite surprised at how clean the bathroom was. There are a ton of cool art on the wall and there was even a table that you could play Pac-Man on. Overall a fun experience.
