The surrounding garden is very nice and the dog park is well maintained (a big thank you to the volunteers who maintain it!). However, the gravel surface of the park is very hard on my pups feet and definitely contribute to some cracked pads. Also, there is some lining from under the gravel that my dog gets distracted by and chews on - it’s clear he’s not the first… Finally, depending on the hours you go, there seemed fo be a number of seemingly homeless people that wander this area - not a huge deal but my dog is reactive to some people and especially those that fit this description. I would love to give this beautiful park 5 stars but just given these factors is hard to go above 3.

It’s a Dark and cold evening on top of this hill .. my surroundings are filled with road maintenance work and new buildings under construction. I’m just waiting for a bus to take me to my next destination point. The last time I was at this location, Was about 5 years ago. It was very different then. I also had a valid driver’s license but was stuck because of a flat tire and the stock battery constantly failing on me. It was always 1 or the other. Fml I give it 5 stars!

Amazing mosaics as well as a huge variety of flowers. A delightful surprise to stumble on . Immaculately volunteer maintained. Note this is NOT the Presidio Tunnel Tops.

Stopped by with my two year old on a neighborhood walk one day. Probably not a destination unto itself, but a nice greenish space in an otherwise industrial wasteland.

Very small park, but it’s really cute, with a dog run!

I was just curious about this 2nd Tunnel Top Park, so I visited. Not as big and exciting as the new one though.

Tunnel Top Park is a beautiful park that demonstrates community coming together to beautify an empty lot. The gardens are well-cared for and they have activities like yoga and a dog run with beautiful views of the City. IT IS NOT PRESIDIO TUNNEL TOPS so do not come here expecting a multi-million dollar funded park or leave negative reviews because you went to the wrong one. Tunnel Top Park had the name originally.

Beautiful location and very creative park with a large playground and walking paths along California native gardens in a San Francisco location that feels clean and safe. Really enjoyed it despite the typical cold and fog.

This was definitely one of the nicest parks we’ve ever been to. Our kids loved playing there. The sights are beautiful.

Not to be confused with the Presidio Tunnel Tops. This park doesn't really offer anything for away trippers to visit.

This park is amazing filled with fabulous views no matter where you look. It's nicely designed and maintained and on weekends there are food trucks that gather which is fun. I highly recommend the 'mango flower’ Mexican mango with tajin is such a delish way to eat it.

Tunnel Top park is very different from progress Park. (see review) It's a covert land grab by Dennis an his wife and is related to the Town Taxi small storage enclaves operated by H.A. associates. It adds nothing to night security in the neighborhood and Dennis+ his wife are unduly proprietary about it. The city should municipalize it. Esprit park is more like progress Park. But that property was privately owned until the City bought it. Municipalization of Tunnel Top will cost the City nothing propertywise and will serve notice to fascist enclaves too Regarding the photos The first 2 are of a sculpture shaman Raven eating eucalyptus at Hwy 101 @ Army Street Esprit planted Redwoods by comparison

Six years in the making. Five acres of space with children's learning center, picnic atea and concerts. Stellar views of the Bay
