We went there to celebrate family members achievements. We were just looking forward to excellent dinner but this place didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered spinach artichoke dip, which was good. For the main course - we went with stuffed shells and eggplant Parmesan as we are vegetarian. Stuffed shells were cold, they were supposed to be hot and you can see the cheese pull. Both dishes were okay not exceptional. We double checked with our server if the quantity will be okay for 6 people- and they were like yes, it should be fine but we felt as per the price - it wasn’t enough for 6 people. We also ordered their muse cake for the dessert as we were hoping to end the dinner on a good note with excellent dessert. The muse supposed to be soft and it should cut right through it when you take a piece but it was super cold and so so hard. Ultimately it wasn’t worth it. We ended up paying 102$ for 6 people. I won’t be going there again. I am not sure why and how this place has 4 +starts probably for the complementary bread sticks and other complementary things that this place offers.

Love being here specially for their chicken soup and hot breads. Service is great as always and we love the food. Kids enjoy as well. Ambience is very cozy and laid back which is relaxing. I like it. I used to love their spicy chicken tenders (don't remember the exact name) but they removed it from menu :( Anyways, I'll always come back when I'm around. Cheers.

My recent dining experience at Olive Garden was nothing short of fantastic! The ambiance, service, and, of course, the food, all combined to make it a memorable evening. To start, we indulged in the Stuffed Ziti Fritters, which were a delightful fusion of crispy fried ziti filled with a gooey blend of five Italian cheeses. The contrast between the crunchy exterior and the oozing cheese inside was simply heavenly. Served with both homemade marinara and alfredo sauces, they provided a burst of flavors that left us craving more. For the main course, the Chicken Marsala Fettuccine was a true highlight. The tender chicken sautéed with spinach and mushrooms in a creamy marsala mushroom sauce was a symphony of rich and savory tastes. Served over perfectly cooked fettuccine, it was a comforting and satisfying dish that I’ll be dreaming about for a long time. We complemented our meal with the Italian Margarita, a delightful concoction that beautifully married the flavors of Italy with a classic cocktail. The combination of Jose Cuervo Especial Silver tequila, triple sec, and the sweet Italian liqueur, amaretto, created a unique and refreshing drink that perfectly balanced the meal. To add a touch of sweetness to our dinner, we ordered the Raspberry Lemonade, which was a refreshing and fruity counterpart to the savory dishes. Its tartness was balanced by the sweet raspberry flavor, making it a delightful accompaniment to the entire meal. Overall, my experience at Olive Garden was nothing short of exceptional. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the overall Italian atmosphere made it a memorable night out. I can’t wait to return to savor more of their delicious dishes and explore their extensive menu. Olive Garden is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic Italian culinary experience!

Update (Jan 20, 2024): Went there again. Food was great. Service is just ok. The person who seated us was just not ok to consider our request. She kept insisting to sit on a table next to restroom. Also, when we asked for another serving of the soup, the waiter had a really long face. As if to mock - do you really want it. I hope mgmt looks into it. --- We went there for a dinner. The place was full (despite being a big restaurant). We have to wait for an hour to get seated. So we took off to the nearest store in GreatMall. We eventually got a text. The person who seated us gave us a center table. The seats were a big uncomfortable. So we requested them to change it. Here comes the weird part. There were multiple seats which were vacant by then. Still the operator wanted us to go back in the queue and wait out (for additional 10mins). So we asked if we can just take up a different seat. She eventually understood and agreed. The waiter was polite/prompt and courteous. He even told us about the complementary option (of soup) which we didn't know about. That helped us settle on the order quickly. The food was served quickly. The breads were amazing. The soup was also good. The pasta portion size could have been a little more. Overall, we had a good experience. The only thing which can be improved is the option to make a reservation upfront so that no one has to wait. We were just 2 people.

We went to the restaurant again at Great Mall Milpitas location after some time. My nephew was visiting us so we went here again as my kids and he looovve Olive Garden. Our server Orlan was very friendly and nice. He helped the kids figure out options so that they got the food they liked with their restrictions. The place is clean and the servers are kind and friendly.

Ate lunch here today and the food was pretty good and so was the service. We had the five cheese ziti al forno plus the soup, salad and breadsticks.

Great servings of awesome Italian food, it's not fine dining but it's tasty and predictable. The chicken gnocchi soup is delicious and I love the breadsticks. The service staff at Milpitas were super attentive. Loved the mint chocolate they gave us at the end.

Always liked the place. Want to come back here again periodically. Great food and awesome bread. The cheese might be a bit on the higher side since it takes some of the taste away. But overall great time. The waitress was amazing as well.

Olive Garden is my favorite dinner place when you want to eat within budget and want a good ambience as well! I ordered the Chicken Marsala fettuccine. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. Also, they offer unlimited salads or soup with your entrees. The Minestrone soup was delicious and came within 5 minutes from the time I ordered

Didn’t have to wait for long. Although once we sat server took 10 minutes before she started taking orders. Food tasted okay. Price is reasonable. You can get unlimited refills for lemonade drinks. One dish took much longer to arrive and we had to get it in to go. Rest was good.

We live in Milpitas and rarely go to Olive Garden, but when we do, it doesn't disappoint. We were a party of 3 and was seated immediately (large parties may have to wait a little longer but there are chairs inside and outside for waiting). Great service from Alan, he was calm and very welcoming. He never once made us feel rushed when taking orders and checked in with us frequently. He made great suggestions when we had questions about the sides. Food was delicious but we may have gotten full too soon with the soup sides and the unlimited garlic bread sticks (one of the main highlights of Olive Gardens). Alan's shift ended and Andrew came over with the same great service. He got us takeout boxes and even a pack of garlic bread to go. Over all my family enjoyed eating here, if you plan on bringing a group of 4+ make sure you come early, by the time we finished around 4:30 most of the empty seats were full.

Ordered chicken margaritas with tea, and espresso after lunch. Cost $35. Broccoli was overcooked and chicken was not soft. Espresso is like a normal American coffee. Atmosphere is good. Overall, it’s ok place.

Loved the vibe of this place. Cozy… Their freshly made breadsticks are one of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered their Eggplant Parmesan with unlimited breadsticks and unlimited soup. It was sufficient for two! Loved it.

It’s nice they have soup and breadsticks added to some of the meals. I got some pasta with chicken, and it was good. Because of aforementioned freebies an average person probably cannot finish such generous portions as they provide in one go. Both me and my friends have to pack leftovers to take home. Definitely nice rate of calories return per your buck.

What a bargain of weekday lunch! The food is good (a bit savory but still good), staff is friendly. We love it!

Been a while since I been there and was expecting past experience, now I think I rather stick to frozen food. I had sopa toscana, now its litterly water down instead of a being rich and creamie. The tour of italy looks like it's been nuked. Cheft got lazzy and just put stuff together. You do not place two different types of plates together and expect the best result when both should be cooked at different temperatures. Hmmm who likes burnt cheese and hard chicken? As for calamari, seems frozen food placed on a plate rather than fresh. As for the staff, besides the hostess ignoring us while she was texting on the phone until we approched them and were told to wait, given she just kept texting for 10 min before she took us to a table was extremly dissapointing. Got to love the new gen.

Well it definitely is not the best Olive Garden I have been to, but still has that sweet ambiance, the cozy looks, the awesome soups and salads and almost the great food. It just does not look as smoothly run as many others I’ve been to but they certainly try! This last visit we had to wait like 15 minutes for some one to get our orders. Food is great though and with the pricetag i’d say is worth it! Cleanness: good (not at par with the good name!) Service: usually delays People: nice Food: same soups and salads of the good name, like entrée in other olive gardens better! Seating: indoor, booth, tables Parking: plentiful Price: fair

We were there last weekend. We love coming to Olive Garden. There was a ten minute wait and we were seated immediately after. The service was very good and all the food we tried were good too. Loved the new item on the menu shrimp fritto misto.

This is the go-to place for me and my friend. When we feel like having something Italian with lesser wait times and close by, we go here. Their freshly baked breadsticks are delish. Lots of seafood options here. The minestrone soup is super good because it’s loaded with veggies. The food tastes good here. It’s a safe choice.

they got weekday lunch special 😆 unlimited soup with a pasta there are 4 different kinds of soups you could try and all tastes good you will be filled even just drinking their soup 😂 you can also find some “pasta” in the soup 😵 if you visit Great Mall for luxury products, you can visit this restaurant as well The staff are very friendly and proactive

I have been here a couple of times. I like the Fettuccine Alfredo and CYO Pasta (Five Cheese Marinara Spaghetti). They have long wait times but you can surely shop around at the Great Mall.

Great food, awesome customer service always, they even split the Main into 2 serves for us to share. Amazed by the unlimited breadsticks, salad & soups too. Cozy family resto as well. Cheers Olive Garden Team Milpitas. 😊

We got pasta with a side of soup. For the appetizer we had spinach artichoke dip, it was delicious. I got veg make your own pasta with creamy mushroom sauce and some veggies. And my husband got the chicken meatball pasta. Both were good. The soup was good too and unlimited. I also got raspberry lemonade which I didn't like much as it was very sweet. But the service was nice and we enjoyed having dinner there.

Olive Garden can be a very pleasant surprise if you know what to order. We stayed with starters only and had a wonderful dinner experience at a very good price. Their nrw shrimp basket is excellent. Soup and salad order is enough for two to share and spinach dip makes you completely full (and if you know how real italian pasta tastes, you would not order pasta there anyway🙂).

Good ambiance, good service and good Italian food. Not too many vegetarian options. The portions are generous. They do celebrate birthdays with birthday song. Good place for couples, friends and family.

Shrimp scampi was fresh and well seasoned (I was worried the pasta might be too salty but it wasn’t). I got salad with the pasta and both portion sizes were surprisingly big. The garlic bread was freshly baked so that was nice too.

Just to be clear, this five-star is for the server MacKenzie & great food. Not so the Hostess (1-star), who was to assigned us a booth requested, but lied instead. Also - kept us waiting almost 15mins when there was clearly no other queue in front of us, and there were plenty of tables/booths available. Kenzie was very professional, unflappable, courteous and ever smiling whenever she served our food. The appetisers & lunch entrees ordered came out hot & cooked just right, grated cheese on top was a generous touch (Romano, according to Kenzie). My minestrone soup was chockfull of ingredients & flavorful, the salad my dining guests had was crunchy & satisfying till the last leaf. We had no room for desserts, but my cappuccino was a bit deflated (it was left too long on counter & not served right away after being made), but it still tasted right. We had a couple of take-away specials which Kenzie packed carefully for it to sustain the few hours journey home.
